Her response was to call over the braider and tell the braider that she could keep the difference as her tip. Made no effort to see if anyone else in the salon had change. I always tip, but to decide to keep my money for them not having change was classic. Thankfully Riyah, a good braider who has been there for a while, heard me tell the girl that she didnt get to declde to keep my money. Will have exact amount plus tip if I come back.

And my curls always return…read more However, the owner pressed my hair because Noni wasn't available and she passed over one section of my hair way too many times. After I washed my hair, I had heat damage! When I messaged her about it, she basically told me that there's no way she could have done it because she limits herself to TWO passes and that previous heat usage will cause that. Which is a lie. I watched her press the hair shaping my face multiple times to get it to lay how she wanted and I NEVER use heat on my own hair. I go to a professional about twice a year to have it straightened. I had to cut about three/four inches of my hair in the front and now I'm set way back. Incredibly disappointed in my last service and I will not be returning. My experience here was very disappointing. When I arrived, I explained that I wanted a wash, blow…read moredry, and cornrow braid down for a wig install, and I was assured it would be done quickly with no problem. Next, I was asked to comb out my own hair even though it was already detangled. During the wash, they were out of shampoo and kept adding water to the little bit that was left, so my hair never felt properly washed. My hair also was not fully blow dried before the stylist started braiding it while still wet. She also made me part my own hair. What frustrated me the most was the timing. Every other braid she attempted to do she kept unraveling them and was constantly restarting. I was told the style would take less than an hour, but after over an hour the front cornrows still were not finished. When I asked how much longer the back would take, I was told 20 minutes, but it ended up taking another hour. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, unorganized, and very misleading. I left unhappy with both the service and the time management.
