I found Salon Surrey from someone I just met who had not only had amazing color but a perfect haircut that moved so beautifully and I just had to know where she went. Her stylist is Kailea, obviously an amazing stylist but when I reached out to the salon through Yelp (response time also amazing) and asked if there was a stylist who could do a butterfly or wolf cut, the owner recommended Jenna so I trusted that and booked it. So glad I did. Not only did Jenna know what a butterfly cut was, it was her favorite cut and DID she nail it! So over the moon with my new cut. I booked an appointment for my daughter right away with Kailea as she had an opening for the day we needed as Jenna was booked. But I've seen Kailea's work first hand and know that she will be in great hands. I don't think you can go wrong with anyone at this salon but Jenna and Kailea are brilliant stylist. Hope spoke to me and really worked to understand my hair, how it behaves, my styling routine, and what I wanted from the cut before she even started. She then cut my hair and walked me through the styling to make sure I could replicate the results at home. And I have certainly been able to! I had never done a major chop like this on my hair EVER, but I have been so happy with the results. I say "appeared" because there were several women in an unseen back room laughing and talking, and every so often one of them would peek out, look at me, and then lean back in. Finally, when I was just about to turn around and walk back out, someone else came from another direction, to ask me what I wanted. Well, I'm standing there with long hair, in a hair salon. Should have been obvious. I told her I came for a haircut. Ignoring the completely empty salon, she told me everyone was busy, and I could make an appointment for the following afternoon. So I just left. I'm very glad this salon is so busy that they can afford to turn away clients.
