I've had some good interactions and some bad interactions with Flower Bed Creations, and am a…read morerepeat customer at two different properties I've own. I contacted Steve via text and via e-mail very courteously to fulfill the requirement of the warranty on a few rose bushes his team planted for me at our main home that never grew. Four of the ones that he planted for us died. He responded and scheduled a time to come and replace them. On the day he scheduled to come, he called and said that the roses were not in stock and would be the following Monday. I never heard from him the following Monday. His team them abruptly scheduled a date and time to come to plant something that I received via e-mail and didn't know on that date and time either, which was a Sunday afternoon. I kindly parked with flags the plants that needed to be replaced under the warranty from an over $1000 purchase I made on plants. The communication is subpar and I fear they do not want to fulfill the stipulations of the warranty on plants. Beware of this type of interaction and any promise they make on warranty fulfillment when you purchase services from this company.

Their pricing was very fair and they were beyond, patient, courteous, and professional throughout. My property suffered from severe drainage issues which was putting my foundation at risk. Additionally, grass could not grow in some areas due to the sheer volume of water flowing around my home. Orlando and his team diagnosed the issue and gave me very reasonable pricing options to fit my budget. Orlando always answered my calls and spent copious time discussing the project details and reassuring me of their strategy to transform my yard. When they came out, they brought a sizable team and had a dedicated project manager on site all day. They we're able to finish the project in one day (11 hours)! I am happy to report that the drainage issues have been fully resolved as a result of their great work. Not only do I now have peace of mind, but I now have the nicest yard on the street. We were very happy with the results and found Georgia Oak to be very easy to work with, responsive and attentive to detail. Highly recommend. After talking with several other companies that came out to look at our project and then having to chase them for an estimate, we decided to keep looking for a company that would be more responsive and easier to work with. We found Georgia Oak on Angie (previously Angie's List). We did further due diligence by looking at the reviews on Angie, Yelp and Google as well as checking reviews and complaint history on the Better Business Bureau. They seemed to have an impeccable reputation. So, we decided to have them give us an estimate despite being the only company that charged us a small fee for giving an estimate. That charge is deducted off the project cost if you use them. Brandon showed up on time and gave us the estimate right on the spot which was a pleasant surprise. It was also a firm fixed price estimate. We were satisfied with their price and quickly made the decision to proceed. They handled submitting the building permit and the inspections. In our case, we needed a survey and engineering drawings which they also coordinated. The entire process was very smooth. They scheduled our project in a timely manner. Carolina, Candido and the entire crew were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. They were quite flexible to adjust design details along the way without any talk of additional cost. The only additional cost that we paid was when we made the wall a good bit longer than originally planned, which is only reasonable. In summary, Georgia Oak does what they say they are going to do. They show up when they say they will. They do good quality work and are very easy to work with. They coordinated the entire process including permitting, engineering and surveying. I realize that charging for an estimate may deter some folks from using them, but I'm glad that we didn't let that stop us. I have a retaining wall on my personal property that will need replacing soon. Georgia Oak will be my first call.
