I have mixed reviews about this business but will not be going back. I ended up returning because I don't want to support the big pet stores. The service here is really great most of the time. Recently, I purchased a bag of dog food and didn't double check the price. When I looked online it was cheaper to buy online than in store. I asked if they could price match. They could not. That was fine but the associate said the the online price was wrong and if someone bought at the incorrect price they would not honor that price. One of the explanations was that this was a small business. I want to support a small business but I also don't like to feel duped if I purchased online and the price was not honored. I recommend buying at Whole Foods or other companies that will honor the prices they post. If I am incorrect, the manager can explain further to my response. read more

First-time customer. You would think for a niche boutique business, the customer service will match. Sadly mistaken. When you advertise as a CBD for pet store, it is acceptable for a customer to ask if they carried a specific brand. First, they DO NOT carry Bailey's. Second, the lady was rude. Third, they sell samples of unwrapped individualized CBD chews for $2/each but will not disclose the brand. Will only state in a snippy tone "I don't know. It's the only one that is comparable to Bailey's. Do you want it?" I'm sure you cannot sell it as "samples" and call it as samples. Well. I will find out soon enough if it is comparable to Bailey's for $2 a piece the size of a tootsie roll claiming to be 10mg. Not planning on shopping 'small biz' at this place. Perhaps, consider getting to know your customers to establish a clientele. read more

Scammers? I returned my unopened items almost a month ago and it still hasn't been refunded. Ed told me that Sabrina has to come in and do it herself, he is unable to, and that when she does i will receive an email. does she not go to work? Every time I call it's the same excuse. For the entirety of his 10 years, my dog has been exclusively fed Nature's Pet Cuisine kibble. Tragically, he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer this year. While it's possible that this is merely coincidental, I can't help but wonder if the food played a role--though we may never know for certain. Despite being a loyal customer for over a decade, my experience with their customer service was disheartening. When my last order was mishandled and never delivered, I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful response, as if my long-standing patronage meant nothing. How can a company fail to recognize and value a customer who has been purchasing from them for 10 years? I tried to return it and they said sorry once a product is open can't return it. CBD worked like a miracle lotion on my knee injury. I was skeptical about using it on my cat but he looks like he struggles so much just trying to walk across the room. Not a bad little place. Hubby and I see this place on our way to the Whole Foods shopping center a few more blocks down. I was kind of intrigued to see what they offer because, hey, who doesn't like an excuse to spoil their pup? Parking isn't plentiful, but it's very doable on a weekend. Parking may be as simple on the weekdays, as well, since all storefronts seemed to be retail businesses and not offices. When we walked in, we were greeted by one of the employees that talked about what ingredients they use, where the ingredients come from, how the ingredients are extracted, how there's no preservatives, etc. She asked questions about our pup, made suggestions. Overall, selling the product. We ended up getting an ear, lollipop, bone, lung, and a braided one. Each of those items were around $2 or $3, while the bone was around $13 (eek!). Prices aren't horrid, but I didn't realize the cost of the bone until it was already rung up. Currently, don't know if we'll be back. Pup finished the lollipop in 20 seconds, and the braided in around a minute. She doesn't care too much for the ear or lung. But, she is a picky pup... read more

If i could give this place no stars i would. I was guaranteed this food would not give my dog an upset stomach or diarrhea. And that I would not have to mix it with his other food before completely giving it to him. And it did. I simply called and asked what I should do considering I did not want to give it to my dog any longer. The woman I spoke to was very nice and understanding and gave me a suggestion to stop giving him the buffalo lung treats and continue feeding him the canine caviar a few more days to see if it changed. It didn't. I called back she took my number and said she would have the owner call me. Days went by no call i called and Ed (one of the owners he claimed himself as) answered and was extremely rude and uncaring just because he had never heard of this before. Claimed i was feedings my dog too much (even though he isn't present in my home to make that claim) and said the manufactures wouldn't take it back cause there wasn't enough left to take back even though his employee was the one to tell me to continue feeding my dog this. He had to no care and or took any responsibility for his own company EXTREMELY unprofessional and I'm disgusted with how he operates his business talking to customers that way. My mom wanted me to buy this specific bone that she wanted to gift to our friends dog, but i've never seen it. If I could give a NEGATIVE STAR review I would. I AM OUTRAGED!! My boyfriend and I came across this company at a community market the day before we bought our beautiful German Shepherd/ Lab puppy. We currently live in Juneau, AK and we have very few choices when it comes to good quality food. After we got our puppy home to Juneau we shortly found out that she is allergic to chicken. SO, with the wonderful impression this company left with us, and the fact that they said they shipped to Hawaii all the time, made us comfortable with our decision to give our business to this company. We ordered a small 11lb bag to start and our puppy LOVED it! so then we decided to order a 22lb bag; but this is where the trouble begins. Sabrina, THE OWNER, called me to tell me that there was a problem with my order and they cannot ship a 22 lb bag to AK. The call came about a week after I placed the order and my puppy was running out of food. So in order to get her food, I had her ship me a small 4 lb bag to tie her over and I agreed to pay another shipping cost of $13.10 (per their website) plus the additional charge of ordering 2 smaller 11lb bags, to avoid them shipping the 22lb bag for the time being. At the end of the call Sabrina said she would let me know how much it would cost to "snail mail" me a 24 lb bag and get back to me the next day (this would have been a Friday). As you can imagine, the call NEVER CAME! I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited until Tuesday to call her back. When I did she answered and gave the excuse of being in San Francisco that weekend but she will work on getting me a price. THAT NEVER HAPPENED! So, once again my puppy was running out of food and I wanted to purchase a 22lb bag so I would only acquire 1 shipping charge. I placed the order on July 15 and it is now July 30. Sabrina has already received my payment but has yet to ship my product. I called her on Saturday July 30 around 3:30 pm CA time, and I patiently waited for 55 minutes. During this time I was able to talk to her for MAYBE 90 SECONDS (just enough time for her to get my order number) because she kept placing me on hold to help in-store customers. Apparently if you order online and call to inquire about your order YOU ARE A NOBODY! THE KICKER OF THE WHOLE STORY....... SHE HAD ME ON HOLD THE WHOLE TIME AND THEN PROCEEDED TO HANG UP ON ME!!!!!!!! If she hung up on accident, she had the order number.... she has access to the account per the order number..... AND I HAVE YET TO GET A CALL BACK! I will be calling back on Monday. If she does not answer my calls or hangs up on me, I will be amending this review and making it MUCH worse. In the yelp reviews I have just read I see there are other UNHAPPY customers with this company. It is nice to know that I am not alone. At the end of the conversation I told her I did not want my order fulfilled but instead I wanted my money back. She was about to hang up UNTIL I had to remind her that she needed to write down my order number AND my name AND email so I can get an emailed confirmation that the return has been processed. After two months, my pet's energy, coat, gas, and stool never changed. So, my wife and I returned about 2 days worth of food in one 27lb bag requesting the 30-day refund. It has been over a month, and we've still never received our refund, not even a phone call. I found this place when I moved to Anaheim Hills. We were looking for a place that sold Canine Caviar for our 2 babies. They do quick deliveries if you purchase online! Most of the time I get my order within a few hours!!! Their customer service is nothing, but excellent. One time, when I realized last minute that I didn't have enough food for our camping trip and needed some delivered right away, they made it happen! I recently visited their store to purchase some wet dog food and the store was so cute! They only have clean selection of food and products so I feel very pleased knowing what I am buying is safe for my 2 dogs. They gave us some samples of dehydrated coconut for Coco because she has Pancreatitis and we plan on purchasing more. We were also provided with information on CBD oil for Bently for his pain, which we will be going back to get very shortly. I totally trust them and can't wait to try these 2 new products. My roommate and I have 2 German shepherds that we spoil and give only the best. Natures Pet Cuisine has the best daily food that we've found that has all of the essential nutrients, is all natural and no excess preservatives or other chemicals I wouldn't eat and especially wouldn't let my dogs eat. The couple that runs this shop are great people and always smiling whenever we go to pick-up anything, P.S they also deliver!!!!! They also have a dog, ( Im not sure what kind, Afgan something? that seems to be just a great dog). They have a wide selection of chew-able treats as well that are all natural. Duck Feet, Antlers (Our dogs love these the most), Duck Liver, Ox Tails, Salmon fins and more and more. Overall great place to buy dog food and treats and run by great animal loving people. I've been a customer of this shop for nearly two years and I can honestly say I've NEVER been disappointed. If you have a specific problem you want help with, just ask! I thought my dog had fleas on top of finicky skin, but after I talked with Sabrina we realized she had food allergies. I stopped buying taste of the wild and got her on a canine caviar protein rotation and she cleared up in a week! Later, when I did have fleas, she recommended essential oils and all natural flea dust that killed em dead and I haven't had a problem since. (fleas mean there is stagnant water nearby, not that you don't clean your house ;p) I also use the buffalo trail mix for training and nothing will get a food motivated dog focused better. Best thing you can do for your pet is stop by NPC instead of the petco or petsmart where they sell you 10 different chemicals and call it a treat. at the end of the day i give them 5 out of 5 for service, quality, and atmosphere. Very helpful mom and pop store and the world needs more of them! Downside? You can drive right by it if you're not paying attention! I've made a lot of U-turns :). read more

This place was super helpful and sure do know everything about the products they sell. I own two boston terriers and for about a year we've been testing out different types of dog foods. Every single brand that we've tried always made my pups have soft serve stools. Its disgusting when you have to pick it up on grass or turf. We decided to give this place a try, the employee swore by the dog food. This dog food brand is for all stages of life, no need for transition and made my pups stool hard. Only down side about it is sometimes my pups stools are so hard it looks like it's a bit painful for them to push. But it's not an issue cause I mix their food with water and krill oil. The dog had serious itching problems and they were able to make a difference with their food, treats & shampoo that are all Holistic. The dog no longer suffers from itching or any other skin problems. So disappointed and sad as I write this review today. I have had some of my pets on canine caviar and feline caviar for the over a year. They were doing great until the formula started getting messed with and every bag the kernels were different. It started making my cats sick so I took them off of it. As for my dogs, one of them has been on it and loves it so when my oldest female husky passed away earlier this year and her mate my oldest male husky stopped eating I turned to natures pet Cuisine and canine caviar for help to get my boy eating. Bought a large bag of lamb, my husky ate if for the first couple days and then wouldn't touch it. When I went back to ask if I could return the bag they put me on the phone with Sabrina and she told me to try mixing wet food with the dry as well as add coconut chips to the top of the food. She guaranteed me it would work. Done spent another $60+ on the wet food and coconut chips. Tried for two weeks to get him to eat the food. Mixing wet with dry wouldn't touch it, added coconut chips wouldn't touch it. So of course I ended up taking the bag of food back and telling them their suggestions did not work my husky still not eating. They said no problem that Sabrina had to handle the refund and it would be processed in the next few days. Well that was on October 18th and today is December 8th and I still have not received my refund. It's aprox $100 that is owed as refund to me. I have spoken to Sabrina several times she swears she took care of it and put it thru yet my bank account has received nothing. This company is dishonest will steal you money and then feed you a bunch of bullshit!! Needless to say I now have all of my pets switched off of their food and refuse to give them any more business. I am spreading the word. If you want dishonest money stealing service go here. If you want great service and good Customer service and money not stolen go elsewhere. I did not hear them ringing the door bell. If they did ring the door bell they weren't put the food on the stair step not under the shade. The food was exposed to the sun a few hours. My front door does have shaded area. I order things on-line all the time, I never have this kind of problem. They are very unprofessional people When I called they avoid my calls and told me they will call back but they never did, They also told me they will come and exchange the food with me they didn't and made me wait at home the whole time. MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE. Who want the food under the sun, they also told me to let my cat try one. I don't want my cat to sick. I finally visited this store and I am glad that I did! I seemed to drive by it again and again without even noticing it was there (it's tucked away in a stripmall). They have recently added a sign closer to the street which caught my attention and the rest is history. The owner and his partner were both VERY helpful in picking out which products would be good for my three pampered pooches. The shop carries only the highest quality food products for dogs and cats - the dry and wet food I purchased were made with HUMAN grade meats. I chose the grain-free option but they also carry foods that include high quality grains. All of their treats were amazing - buffalo - antlers - fruit, even coconut. This is definitely not the type of food you can pick up at Petco or Petsmart. Everyone was friendly and very informed. The prices were competitive and VERY close to what I was paying for my Petsmart-bought foods. I'll keep coming back! So glad I found this store!! read more
