I absolutely love this place! I have come across several pet supply warehouses, and by far this one has stood out as my favorite. Great customer service, extremely helpful staff who are consistent and friendly. I truly appreciate the gentlemen who greets and checks-in with customers coming in. I recommend this place to all my fellow cat-parents. If there's an item you don't see, you can always ask to order it and pick it up there. My cat can be very picky with her food and that service has helped greatly at times. I find the pricing here very fair and my cat has loved the quality of food from here. I came across Pet Supply Warehouse over a decade ago when my family used to go to the Marie Calendars in the same lot. Every time I go, I'm always greeted with a cheerful, "hello". They were even there for me in a time of need - my 22 yr. old cat, who was in renal failure, was down to 4 pounds because he was hungry but refused all the foods I offered him. I called PSW & the person offered some brand selections & assured me that we'd find something he would eat. My next problem was that they closed 15 minutes from the time I called & I live 30 minutes away. We agreed that they'd set aside the items we discussed & would wait for me. When I got there, my items were bagged at the front counter so I could get back to my cat as quickly as possible. The staff said they'd keep my cat in their thoughts. I continued to get his food from PSW for the remainder of his life and while I was in the area. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. They have a wonderful selection of healthy but tasty foods, treats, and other items at a fair price. But the thing that I will never forget is that they heard my need and went above and beyond to help me & my cat, Turbo. There's not too many places that still offer that type of service - but PSW does. read more

Super friendly staff and always there to help. I have an elderly kitty who needs high-quality food and they have just what I need. I also have a new rescue that needs "different proteins" other than fish and chicken, and they have a great selection. It's a small store but they will order anything you need and you can also buy from their website. They also have a loyalty program that helps with the rising costs of pet food. My husband found out about this place and told me about it, as we are constantly looking for cheaper stores that carry the brands of food that we need to get, also not all stores carry the food period so we look for that reason also. This store is set up nicely, ranging from many different options of raw food, dry kibble, canned food, treats, toys, herbs and such, etc. Also if there is a particular item that you are looking for and cannot find it, they will usually order it for you. Unfortunately the items that I purchase are more money here, but where I have found it the cheapest is farther from home, so it may balance out. What I really like about this place is that they carry safe items for your pets, and not just any item out there on the market. There are too many bad options out there that people aren't aware of. The staff is also helpful and welcomes you right away and ask if you have any questions. I will definitely come by from time to time for supplies. read more

I discovered this place for my wife while searching through Yelp for some more pet supply places in our area. I saw several of my Yelp friends have frequented not just this but also another location of Pet Supply Warehouse and left them favorable critiques. We are constantly looking for new places that carry some of the healthier brands of dog foods and treats that we give our pets and this place carries them all. Normally my wife will travel all the way to Torrance to find the brands of raw food and canned foods that we must serve to our pets to keep them healthy. Our pets require certain needs and the pet foods carried by many of the larger chain stores such as Pet Smart and Petco will not do the trick. Although they may be a few cents more than the Torrance store my wife drives to that is more than made up in the cost of the gas it takes to get there. All of the food and treats that Pet Supply Warehouse stocks on their shelves are carefully selected and only the finest and healthiest brands for your pets are featured and sold. They have many items specific to dogs with allergy's to gluten or wheat and everything else you can think of. They sell raw food, canned food and kibble and even sell doggie yogurt which is something I am sure we will purchase in the future for our furry fiends. The prices and selection are good and if the store doesn't have it or carry it they will order it for you, this is the service that I look for and what really gives them a huge step up over the chain stores I mentioned earlier. They also have various rewards programs and discounts for specific food brands so be sure to check these out as well. Despite several tips that they will match competitor pricing we have found that this is in fact not true. The prices are close and not enough to be a deterrent to me and they do have rebates and rewards as I mentioned on most brands. The Spot On program panel on the counter is also nice as you can accrue points (spots) with each visit that can later be used for gift certificates or toys/treats for your pets. This may not be our normal go to for all of your pet supply needs but it for sure left its mark and I know we will make many more trips here going forward. Keep it up. read more

This isn't the closest pet store to my home but it's worth the extra drive. It's an extremely friendly small business as opposed to the impersonal big brand stores and franchises. They carry a huge selection of healthy dog foods, treats and non toxic toys. When you walk in a voice will ring out from somewhere in the store welcoming you and letting you know that help is available if you need it but they never hover. The staff, I know Ray and Reagan's names, are ever smiling ready to check you out without delay. It's consistently a pleasant experience and my Shih Tzu, Charlie, who is welcome always looks for his complementary treat. read more

Cute local pet supply place. We just had puppies so I went in there specifically for certain items which to my amazement they had! Goats milk! Who would have known? The girl who helped me was very nice and took me directly to everything I was needing so I didn't have to wander around looking. Also picked up some healthy treats for my other guys as well. Dear Pet Supply Warehouse, My name is Frankie and I'm a puppy only 6 months old. I'm very smart (see how I can type with my paws) but I'm also extremely stubborn. For example one day when it was raining (and it seems like that NEVER happens at my house in Southern CA) I decided to refuse to go out to go potty. My Mommy and Daddy weren't sure if it was the loud sound of the rain, me not wanting to get my feet wet or perhaps me just not feeling like it but they were worried. They went to your place, Puppy Supply Warehouse not knowing what to do. What I heard was that they were recommended potty grass that fit onto a tray so that I could go potty under the overhang. They also recommended this pheromone spray which was supposed to make me want to go potty on the potty grass even more....not sure if that worked but I did go potty on the potty grass so who knows. My Mommy said that the lady was SO nice and talked to her all about the product, how to use it etc. I'm sure the lady told my Mommy more but I'm a puppy and I only listen about half the time. We have only shopped here for artificial grass for the patio. I have a decent sized patio, but majority of it is concrete, and I wanted a grassy area for my dogs to do their business. When I moved to my condo I was able to create a 4' x 4' dirt space where I could put grass for my little dog. Perfect. We originally tried real grass but that was a complete joke. It died almost immediately. So about three years ago we checked out Pet Supply Warehouse. They were able to custom order a 4' x 4' piece of fake grass for us. I believe the cost was about $160. Kind of pricey, but seeing how that piece lasted us three years, I think it was worth it. It's easy to clean, it is always green, I don't have to water or cut it. And it looks very real. So here we are, three years later, and the grass we had is getting kind of stinky. We headed down to Pet Supply Warehouse this weekend and asked about ordering a custom piece again. The guy tells us he can do that, BUT, they have a 15% off sale going on right now for pre-cut pieces. We measured them and we were able to purchase two, cut them up and piece them together for the same look as the 4' x 4' piece. And the price? $84! I really appreciated him telling us that. He could have easily ordered it and charged us $160 again. I highly recommend this place if you need artificial grass for your dogs. They also have loads of food, toys, treats, etc...I just haven't really checked any of that out yet. read more

I'm diggin it... I was looking for an alternative to big-name pet stores and I'm very pleased with this place. I passed by the store every day coming home from work and never realized it was there - I'm glad that I found it. First off, what I really like about it is how nice, clean, and organized the store is. One of the biggest deterrents for me for smaller pet supply stores is that they can sometimes be kind of funky - you definitely do not get that here. I was looking for some really high-quality dog food that you can't find at places like Petsmart, but you can find in abundance at smaller stores like this. They have a really good selection of high-quality dog food at a pretty reasonable price. I knew that a few of the brands I was looking for were here, but I wasn't sure what the markup would be and it's much better than I had anticipated. And it seems like a lot of their treats and toys are very reasonably priced as well. The employees were very friendly and very willing to help and answer any questions I had. I was pretty happy with the store before that, but the good customer service really sealed the deal for me. I'm a big fan of Pet Supply Warehouse- I have only been a few times, but every time was a hit so as long as the experience stays consistent I'll be very happy with making this my go to pet store. read more

You guys are superstars. You guys are the bomb-diggity. You guys are my number one (whenever I'm in the area). Hubby and I will take any reason to get our pup outside the house to get her more socialized. As the Yorba Linda Regional Park was so close by, we were trying to find other places in the area to take her, and there was THIS awesome store that we found via Yelp (you guys are pretty cool, too). Located in the same center as CVS and Carl's Jr (and the other side of Chase), this is a good-size shop for ALL of your pet's needs. We've brought our pup with us every time we've been in here. Easy parking, as it's just a shopping center. The staff is AH-MAY-ZING. These guys and gals have always been super-courteous to us, have always asked if we needed help, have always HELPED if we did have a question, and have always been very careful and patient with our pup. Our pup is EXTREMELY shy and nervous with other people, but the staff here has never taken offense to it and have always been very calm and slow in any movements around her. You guys have no idea on how much this means to me and my hubby! We have been supremely grateful for EVERY awesome action you have taken with us, and the amount of patience you all have had for us has been near saint-like. :) Okay, maybe a little exaggeration, but, seriously, our pup needs so much time and patience, and it is so awesome to find a place where they don't treat her weirdly or try to be a little aggressive in getting into her personal space (e.g., petting her on her head). Even other vendors that come by to "sell" their products have been awesome. Recently, we met a Sojos rep that was outside the door, giving away free trial-sized products. Super-nice, totally understood that our pup was fairly nervous, and just gave us so much information that we were looking for with the product. Price-wise, there always seems to be a deal every time we come by, and they aren't shabby! BOGO offers, 50% off certain merchandise, 50% of certain treats, etc. We never come out of this place empty-handed. Great selection on wet food. I mean, OMG, it's awesome. Before Merrick was bought out by Purina, that wall of wet food made my hubby and I drool at the kind of selection that we can give to our pup. Place has always been clean. Never saw any messes of any sort, though there is a nice grassy area right outside. It is next to a restaurant, though, so be a little polite if your pup needs to potty in that area.
