Excellent customer service! I was surprised by how nice and friendly the staff are here. They are ready to help and are very kind. I was looking for some clothes and toys for my puppy, and an employee said there's some clothes in the back corner that are on clearance! Awesome thank you! I went to the back right corner of the store and found the clearance section. At checkout, the employee offered a coupon. How sweet! Amazing customer service. 10/10 I found the cutest harness for my pups! It's a pretty purple color. I love it! I also grabbed a cute Donut toy and she won't leave it alone. It is her favorite now!! No joke. My husband said, "wow she loves the donut you got her." Yes lol I also got a replacement Lamb squeaky toy. She tore up her old one. Great selection on dog toys! 10/10

After having unsatisfying grooming experiences at another PetSmart location, we returned to this one. The staff members were very nice to me and my pup--you could tell from every detail. I'd like to give thanks especially to Kelcie and Lizbet, who took great care to successfully bath my pup and grind his nails without traumatizing him. Your love and care will not go unnoticed.

Bought this for Halloween lol

Terrified of going back into the same building as the pet hotel. Began trembling and would not come out of the car.

I am truly devastated by what became of my dog after we boarded her here last weekend. We thought we were going to get quality service because we love our veterinarian at Banfield in the same Petsmart that this pet hotel is at. My dog came home completely lethargic and continue to be lethargic for another day. After visiting the vet, she was diagnosed with kennel cough and an ear infection. On top of that, she is now afraid to come inside using her doggy door. I don't know what happened in those few days but now my dog is sick and is a nervous wreck. Because they are in the same building as our vet, my dog would not get out of the car and began trembling before her paws even hit the pavement. I do not recommend boarding your pets here. This was a horrible first experience and will no longer be using petsmart pet hotels as a service.

Thank You PetsHotel

I'm giving this a review a five star as it was my first experience using PetsHotel with this PetSmart location in Yorba Linda. I was recommended by my sister in law as she too also uses PetsHotel with this location. I've read bad reviews and have been recommended by others NOT to use them but at short notice and after researching other boarding companies I felt I was more comfortable using PetsHotel for my pups needs. The person who scheduled the stay was polite and very informative of prices and options for the board. She offered any extra treats for the stay so my pup would stay comfortable. She explained how my pup would get 1 on 1 play since he is not neutered and is not eligible for group play, which was fine with me because you never know how other dogs can be or mine for that matter. The day before drop off I was able to sign any papers and provide a list of his vax to make sure we would have a smooth transition at drop off. The person at the counter was friendly and handled my dog with care. It went as smooth as expected. My pup stayed a total of 4 nights. Pick up was a breeze. I loved the "pawgress" report they provide. My pup came home happy and actually smelled better than when I dropped him off. I didn't add any grooming services but maybe they wiped him down for some reason. My pup actually came home really mellow and relaxed. My previous boarding facility I used would give my dog back stinky from play and hyped up. He would pant like crazy as if he ran a marathon. He would have group play and there and would non stop play all day with no breaks. I was very surprised how relaxed and calm my dog was after using PetsHotel at PetSmart. I felt as if he had been pampered at a spa for the last 4 days. Needless to say excellent service from scheduling, pick up and drop off and the overall care my dog received. Thank you for the best first experience and we will be back for our next board.

I hardly go to this location but stopped by yesterday, and I was looking for pill pocket chicken flavor, and there was only large size was available on the shelve, but the person I think her name was Vanessa went back and looked for me and mentioned this item is on the sale if you buy two-package. I liked her effort and knowledge about the products. Going back and look for the products and make sure the customer doesn't leave with the disappointed was a great feature. I highly recommend this location and looking forward to going back and see these happy faces again. Thank you all

Major Graduating puppy class :)

This review is for Diego. I started taking my puppy here 12 weeks ago starting with the puppy class. I wanted to get into a certain class that started the soonest according to their calendar unfortunately I was unable to book online due to being full. I called the store and spoke to Diego he was very accommodating and was able to open up a spot for me. I will say many many many years ago I took my bulldog for puppy class and was expecting little training and more socializing with the other puppies , however the training program has completely changed since then and you are definitely getting your money's worth with training. My pup has learned to walk on a leash properly, to ignore other dogs that are barking , sit, stay while I'm out of his eye sight , come when called when there are distractions around (food treats and toys) as well being able to walk with him into stores without him going crazy and trying to pull me, this is just to name a few. All I can say is wow his training and techniques are on point! Diego is really patient in training something I had to learn and takes the time to watch each pup and their owner practice the Techniques he is teaching that day. I could not be more pleased with the training class. We have completed puppy and intermediate level and now entering advanced all this has been learned in just 12 weeks! I can't wait to see what my puppy learns in the next 6 weeks for his advanced class! Thank you Diego!

How can I find out when there is going to be a dog adoption event at this location? Maybe they aren't being held now because of Covid but if they are I'd like to know in advance so I could come.

The facility is very clean, and it's clear that the staff genuinely care about every dog in their care. The trainers are kind, attentive, and treat each pup like family, which gives us so much peace of mind. Whenever we travel out of state, Dog Den is our first choice for boarding. We love that they provide cameras so we can check in on our fur baby. The staff keeps everything clean, changes the towels regularly, and makes sure she is comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. On days when she just needs some extra playtime and socialization, daycare is the perfect place for her to have fun with other doggos. We also love the photos update that were given throughout the day. We highly recommend Dog Den to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and trustworthy place for their furry family member! The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

Business owner Nora ended the contract early despite having collected a $500 deposit from us. Our…read moretwo dogs only stayed at her place for four nights, so the total charge should have been $75 x 4 = $300. However, she charged us $400, claiming that our dogs have long hair, drool, and even accused them of being aggressive from thin air. That additional $100 was the extra "penalty" charge. We travel frequently for work every year, and our dogs are very well-socialized. They have boarded at many professional facilities without a single issue. Despite our repeated attempts to communicate and request a refund, Nora responded with a very disrespectful attitude and refused to return the overcharge. Dog owners, please be aware: this boarding service has no official certifications or professional credentials. It is simply a small, home-based operation. Also worth noting -- the business owner is a rude senior woman who may struggle to handle larger, or small size but more active dogs. There is a real risk she could be knocked over, tripped or injured if the dog is too strong or too quick for her to manage safely. If you're looking for reliable, qualified care for your pets -- and want to avoid the potential liability risks involved with a caregiver -- this is not the place to go. * Update( with image) : Nora is trying to play the victim, yet she threatened to report my puppies to animal control via text message. Dog owners, be warned--if you ever have a disagreement with this business, your beloved pets could be used as leverage. My dogs may be big, but they're gentle giants. After realizing Nora's lack of professionalism, we had a trusted friend drive them to a reputable, accredited boarding facility. There were no issues at all--our pups were safe, happy, and the staff treated them like family. As I mentioned earlier, be cautious--dealing with this business could unexpectedly shift liability onto you as the pet owner.

Overnight boarding: you get a full webcam access to their suite whenever your pet is in there. The big dog area looks very spacious and the staff told me my dog LOVED the bath they gave afterwards. My dog is currently struggling to keep her eyes open after picking her up from boarding, so that's a great sign. My only gripe is the option for a bath doesn't come with a brush out or anything. Not even as an add on service. It's literally just a bath and they dry your dog in a kennel dryer. But for $30 on top of boarding, I'll take that bath option any day of the week and brush my dog at home.

After a previous negative experience, my fiancé and I waited several months before bringing our…read moredog, Posie, back to daycare. We decided to give this facility another chance because she genuinely loves playing with other dogs, and daycare seemed very different from overnight boarding. Before returning, we made it very clear to staff that because of our previous experience, we wanted to be contacted immediately about any issues involving Posie, no matter how minor. Staff assured us they would communicate with us, and based on those conversations, we felt comfortable trying daycare again. We had a few uneventful visits, but our most recent experience raised serious concerns and brought back many of the same issues we experienced before. We dropped Posie off around 2:30 PM for Day Camp. Around 3:55 PM, I checked the daycare cameras and noticed that she was nowhere to be found in the large playgroup area that we had paid for. Concerned, we contacted the facility to ask where she was. Initially, we were told that Posie had been placed in a holding area while staff handled transfers and departures. Later, a supervisor called us and explained that because Posie is "rambunctious," she had been separated into holding crates while staff completed other responsibilities. During the conversation, he stated that she had been there since arrival. This was frustrating because it meant our dog had spent a significant portion of her daycare visit separated from the group without our knowledge. Had this been communicated to us, we could have made an informed decision about whether daycare was the right fit that day. What was particularly concerning was that it appeared Posie's situation was only addressed after we noticed she was missing from the cameras and contacted the facility ourselves. While we were still on the phone with staff, we observed Posie being brought back into the play area on a leash. This left us wondering whether she would have remained in the holding area even longer had we not checked the cameras and called. When I expressed concern about how long Posie had been confined, the supervisor focused on correcting my estimate, explaining that because her drop-off was at 2:30 PM, she had "technically" only been there for about 90 minutes. The issue was never whether it was 90 minutes or two hours. The issue was that our dog had spent a significant portion of the daycare session separated from the activities we were paying for without any communication to us. What made the explanation confusing was that Posie has attended daycare here multiple times, and staff had always given us positive feedback about her interactions with other dogs. We had never been told she was disruptive, difficult to manage, or unable to participate in daycare. The first time her behavior was presented as a concern was after we discovered she had been separated from group play, which left us confused by the sudden change in messaging. Another part of the conversation that left me frustrated was when the supervisor told us that it seemed the facility was unable to meet our needs and suggested that perhaps this was not the right place for our dog. We had not yet spoken with management, nor had anyone attempted to address the concerns we were raising before suggesting that we take our business elsewhere. This also brought back concerns from a previous daycare visit. On that occasion, Posie came home with a wound on her leg that our veterinarian indicated was consistent with a bite or tooth abrasion from another dog. Thankfully it was not severe, but the skin was punctured and required monitoring. We were never contacted about the injury, and when we asked staff about it afterward, we were told there was no report of any incident occurring. That previous experience was one of the main reasons we stopped bringing Posie here for several months. We eventually decided to give the facility another chance because she enjoys socializing with other dogs and hoped the prior incident was isolated. Unfortunately, after this most recent experience, many of the same concerns resurfaced. Another concern is the overall level of supervision during busy periods. During our recent phone call, staff repeatedly described the environment as chaotic and explained that they were managing multiple responsibilities at once. As a customer, that left me wondering whether there are enough staff members available to supervise the number of dogs present while simultaneously handling transfers, cleaning, pickups, and other duties. Finally, during the last two daycare visits, Posie was returned to us completely soaked and smelling strongly of urine. We were told that staff regularly clean and mop the play areas, but both times we felt the need to bathe her immediately upon arriving home because of the odor. I am currently waiting to speak with management and hope these concerns are taken seriously.

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)
