I was a first time client at this shop. I scheduled a 1pm appointment with Claudia (https://www.instagram.com ' pretty....pretty.nails.by.claudia), I arrived to my appointment promptly with inspiration photos from previous sets I've had in the past. I requested a long set with pink jelly acrylic in a tapered coffin shape. We agreed to the style/ shape and got started. This is when things went downhill, she advised she didn't have the color acrylic we agreed on and I settled for a different color. Then as things progressed I noticed the shaping was incorrect and asked did she plan to taper the set. She explained it was already tapered and it would be too much time / work to reshape the acrylic according to what we agreed on. I stated I wouldn't be happy with the shape as it was boxy/square and it wasn't what we agreed on. She was unwilling to compromise on fixing the shape stating she had clients after me. I paid a deposit for 2hr time slot expected all the time to be dedicated to my service. I suggested a simpler design to make up for any time it'd take to shape but this was also dismissed. I requested a clear coat and ended the service. I've never had such an unpleasant experience getting my nails done and as new client it was not the level of service I'm used to and will not be returning In the future. read more

I used to come here often to get my nails done back when they were located on Armitage and I loved it. I decided I wanted to start going back to Naughty Nailz. I called Alexis the day before I planned on coming in and we discussed what I wanted and set up the appointment for 130. When I arrived she asks me to wait until she finished with her client. I waited an hour and then she started up on someone else. She then goes to say she thought I meant someone else was going to do my nails. And she didn't think it was supposed to be her (even though we had clearly discussed what I wanted the day before) I said I wasn't coming back and felt no sincerity in the apology she barely mumbled from her mouth as I walked out the door. Find somewhere else to go to get your nails done where you wont waste you're time and feel respected as a client. read more

I've been getting my nails done for almost ten years and this was the first time I've ever walked out of the salon THIS excited about them. After being told "no" flat out about getting designs by my old salon twice in a row and decided to go somewhere new. I booked an appointment with Tancy the day before New Years Eve and she did an incredible job! The time and care put into putting on my set and shaping my nails was unlike any nail tech I've ever had. I told her I wanted fun, glittery nails for NYE and she did just that without making me seem like it was a burden like my previous nail techs did. Tancy was so sweet and fun and it was a bonus that I got to listen to Beyoncé and Rihanna while getting my nails done instead of sitting in awkward silence like I've been doing at nail salons for years. there is no way I would ever go back .....I would like to start off with my nails where pretty nails but there where nothing what I wanted and asked for and paid the nail tech (peaches) a lot of money for nails that where not the shape I wanted (simple square...which she said she doesn't do).... I was so so so unhappy with her serve from the moment I walked in... I came a hour and ten minutes away and texted her saying I would be 5-10 min late (my appointment was at 6:00pm) when I got to the store she opened the door and said (I was just about to leave) the time I arrived is 6:10pm)......she tells me I can take a seat and continue on with the client she was currently working on leaving me to sit for another hour....by the time she got me seated I was already ready to leave which is what I should have done ... she told me she didn't do square nails for I got coffin which I repeatedly told her I DID NOT WANT ... Also the color of the nail was suppose to be turquoise uv(glow in the dark to match with my hair I was getting done for the music festival I was currently going to.....................the nails are white (glow in the dark ) to add to this horrible appointment i DID NOT WANT STONE JEWELRY on my nails and when I told her this she said ..." If I would have known that I would have never booked you a appointment " and continue to add the Gems ....i am not sure if she just didn't care what I wanted or she just wanted to disappointment me regardless I paid $20 up front and then $100 at my appointment only to what I did not want at all and four days later 2 nails fell off I am never going back to her and I ll never send anyone I know to her ... worse nail experience of my life.... read more

I have looked everywhere for someone to make my nails look like out of a magazine and could never find a place until now. Peaches does an AMAZING JOB!!!! She is truly an artist. Worst experience all I wanted to do was get my nails filled I made my appointment 3 days in advance with tancy my appointment was for 11am I get there @11:20 mind you I'm steadily calling the shop and driving in the pouring rain (I mean rainning so bad its buckets of rain) to let them know I was running some minutes late cause I was stuck in traffic noooooobody picks up so I show up 11:20 tancy had had someone in the seat already I walk in like I had an 11 o'clock appointment instead of them (Regina &tancy) being understanding towards the obvious circumstances they said I was late like what the fuck I was trying to call you guys to let you know that why couldn't you pick up your phone I called the shop while standing in it to see if there's something wrong with their phones and their phones ringing just fine instead of them apologizing and saying hey we didn't see or hear the phone ring they proceeded to argue with me like its my fault any professional business would call the customer to if not make sure they are OK to at least make sure the customer still gonna make it to their 3 day in advance appointment but no these bitches can't do that cause courtesy is not part of their policy thank God I didn't get in a car accident trying to make it to my appointment just to get treated ... Fyi the look of their shop matches their fucked up personality ratchet !!! This by far was the WORST experience I've ever had at a nail salon...EVER. I've NEVER posted a review for anything on Yelp until today. I pray that when you choose to get your nails done, you don't go here! First off, I booked an appointment at 10:30 the week before, something told me to call the day before and confirm. I call the day before and the "tech" tells me 11 instead. No big deal. I told her I needed to get back for a family barbecue that started at 2-2:30 and I asked would I be out in time. She said "Oh girl yeah, you'll be good!" She texts me at 10:40 to say she wasn't at the shop yet, and that she needed to take her kids to see their dad. She'd text me when she got back in the car. It's now 12:15 and I still haven't heard from her. I call and the first thing she says when she picks up is "come on." (I have no one else to go to to get my nails done and it was too late notice. I just settled and drove to her shop.) I get there at 1:15, and still had to wait about 25-30 minutes before she started on me. I've never had to soak my nails off, and I knew my nails were so loose that they could just be popped off with an artificial nail or something close to it. No. She chose to use a tool that closely resembled an ice pick. I began bleeding. Her response? "I don't know what to do." I look at her in disbelief and she hands me a napkin and tells me to go wash my hands and "deal with that." I wash my hands, and come back in the room to her talking about me to the other technicians in the room. (I wear Invisalign, and I had just changed my aligners so it was hard to speak without feeling pain. THATS why I didn't curse her ass out!) It took her an hour to get my old nails off. Why? I don't know. While she was picking my old nails off like a caveman, she put a long strip of cotton on my toes and squirted alcohol on it to loosen the no-chip. Instead of just putting the cotton on my toes and wrapping them in foil. She gets started on my toes in a back room with a "ConAir" pedicure tub. She claims her pedicures are the best in town because people never complain about their feet after and they stay soft days after. Funny, because my feet were soft before I went and a day later they're now rough. She clips my toe nails down on one foot, and leave the others long on the other foot. It's so bad I chose to wear socks to bed last night to avoid having to see my feet again after she did them. She starts on my nails, and the no-chip on my thumb nails start to ripple and smear to one side as I sit under the uv lighting. I point it out, she buffs it and redoes it. Claims the lighting doesn't work on one side of the uv machine. The other hand does the same thing. She finishes my nails and I notice my right hand is neat and all my nails on my right hand curve to the left. My thumb on my right hand is rippled and not shiny as if it had a matte finish. Because I was extremely OVER my visit, I said nothing and just wanted to go back home. Didn't get out of her shop until 5:30 by the way. Missed my whole barbecue and my nails are horrible. If you want to sit in a shop that has no air conditioning, no professionally set up equipment, ghetto and rude "technicians" that curse every five minutes, the "technicians" children running all up and though the shop disturbing the "techs" with questions and keeping them from doing a neat job, the "technicians" get on the phone and hold random conversations which is why one hand looks completely different than the other, they overbook and never have enough time in between clients to make them feel welcomed or appreciated...please, go here! This is the perfect place for you. Never in hell...hell could freeze over FIVE times and the devil himself could come tell me to go get my nails done here or I'm going to hell.....looks like I'm going to hell!! read more
