Excellent and honest place. We were from out of town and gave us suggestions on fixing our boat. Even gave us pointers on fishing area.

After multiple calls, emails...over multiple months and speaking to everyone from the salesman, parts guy, perky chips, and the manager I finally recíeved plates and title arrived today November 14, 2020. Absolutely Worthless Boat Dealer. Want The Runaround? Enjoy dealing with people that Love Sitting on their Thumb? Well then, Tracker Marine in Tyler Texas is the place for you.

The buying experience was fine and pontoon was prepped and delivered in a timely manner. I paid cash for the boat and the cost of sales tax and registration fees. I was provided temporary tags for pontoon and trailer good for 90 days and was assured that they would call me when the permanent tags were available. After 100 days I called them about the tags. I was told that the dealership had past management problems and had not gotten the paperwork done. I talked to the new manager and he told me he would get everything done and in the meantime he would issue more temporary tags. I drove to the dealership and picked up the second set of temporary tags. The new manager assured me that the tags would be available within a few days. He contacted me about 10 days later and told me they had been mailed. After waiting 5 days I called him find out where the tags were. 2 days later I received the tags for the boat only. No trailer tags. I called the manager again and no answer. I left a voice message. No reply. I called him the following day and he answered. His excuse was that the tax office is backed up and they are waiting on them to issue the license plates. This is a bunch of crap in my opinion. Now over a week later I still have no plates for the trailer. DO NOT BUY anything from this bunch. I'm contacting the DVM in Austin to help me get this resolved.

They are incoherent and cannot even remember what they told you. They sold me a boat and I put $2,000 down. Then I find out they don't even have the keys to it. They jerked me around for weeks and I am still fighting to get my money back! They are all a mess and obviously on drugs! Stay away, you will feel as foolish as I do!

Beware of this place. We had a bad experience with them 4 years ago and only tried them again because our neighbor just bought a boat from them and gave the management good reviews. Very unprofessional and rude. Go to Texas Hydro Sports instead. Here is the GM's untouched response: "After pulling a 14 day straight shift to get customers back on the water for the air show, the owner gave us time off Sunday afternoon, since not a customer came in. We regret that this inconvienced you. Since you are already upset with the fact we did not put up a sign, I am not sure we can make you happy servicing your boat. We do try to accomodate as many of our customers as possible. We also realize we are not going to make everyone happy. Thanks for trying us at The Boat Shop. They would deliver them to our lake house and service them there or pick them up if they needed to be serviced in the shop. One of the boats had a problem with the Brake/Reverse feature this spring. I called Texas Hydro Sports to see if they could come an pick up the boat. The woman on the phone said it would be 9 MONTHS before they could get to me. WHAT!!! I suggested to her that it made no sense for me to have them pick up the boat in January 2019! She said that was their schedule. I asked if they had a trailer I could borrow and I could bring the boat to them. She told me they did not have any trailers to loan. They did, however, have some for sale. I could come and purchase a trailer and then deliver the boat to them. I asked how that would influence the service schedule. She said they had a lot of boats ahead of me so it would probably be a couple of months. I suggested that the summer would be almost over by that time. She agreed!!! I asked to speak to someone else. She had the manager/owner call me back a couple of days later. I told him my tale of woe. He said he would "look into it" and call me back. It has now been three weeks and he has yet to call me back. In the intervening time I went to Texas Adventure Powersports in Richardson (https://www.texasadventure.com). I told them I had a boat that needed service, they loaned me a trailer, I went back to the lake and picked up the boat, dropped it off at the dealer. 9 days later they called me to tell me my boat was ready. I picked it up on their loaner trailer and delivered it back to the lake. It runs perfectly. Bottom line: There are some good places to buy watercraft in the Dallas area. Texas Adventure Powersports is certainly one of the best. There is no need to deal with the likes of people like Texas Hydro Sports. If we avoid them perhaps the business will fail and we can get a good dealer to open at the lake. Too bad Yelp only allows reviews of 1 or above. I would have rated this business ZERO!

Upon gettting it back within two trips top cap cracked again. Sent it back to Skeeter they sent it back with burnt carpet, everything all scratched up and horrible paint job on boat. To add there was paint sprayed onto boat trailer. Sent it back again my customer service representative and his suppposive customer service manager promised it would be abosolutely perfect when I get it back. NOpe all scratched up in all work areas, brackets look managled, paint correction is horrible, and after multiple trips to Kilgore Tx they cant get the paint off the trailer. So I am now 17 months just trying to get a product I paid for without a bunch of defects and looking like a pile of crap. I just cant handle sending it back to get it corrected when now I have strap marks in rub rails, and in paint from loading and unloading improperly. how much can one guy take. I spoke with rep and ask him to send me a new graph mount and a second solix graph and I will forget all about the scratches that Skeeter caused working on it. I asked for different customer service rep and a higher manager and per Robert the Customer Service Manager there is noone higher than him to help make a customer happy. So Im personally at my last straw and about to snap. So I guess legal action against Manufacture and Selling Dealer will have to be my next step to get what I paid for and to get boat to customer satisfaction. Since what I have asked for to correct there mistakes would cost them less then shipping it back to Kilgore TX. Im sure the court cost and attorney fees will surpase the cost of such little demands for major inconviences.
