They helped him pull off the perfect proposal and even stayed open later to help him out when he hit traffic coming from Frisco and got there much later than he had planned. Everyone he talked to was so sweet and genuinely excited for him. The boat and the lake were so lovely and we got the most stunning photos with the sunset. We really appreciate everything Lone Star Marina did to make sure everything went smoothly and their customer service was amazing. The boat looked clean and so nice in every photo and we couldn't be happier with our experience with them and with their boat! I…read moreknocked one star only because there was a couple things that need to be touched up in our cabin. 1) One of the drawers in the bedroom were completely broken, 2) the pipe that supplied the water to the shower was corroded at the bathtub connection, and 3) the bathroom mirrors... IYKYK. Other than that, my friends and I are coming back. It has SO many activities for family's (in North location). The customer service also treated me and my friends like family. So much kindness and patience with city people. We cooked all of our own food, so I have not opinion on the food that maybe supplied onsite, but the cabins, go try them out.

Fries have come out cold multiple times. The queso tastes good but for the price the portion sizes suck. I have come in on a slow day, a medium ish day and a busy day, and EACH time the food takes 40+ minutes to come out and they blame it on them being busy. That excuse might work for the busy night, but you cannot you being busy as the excuse for the poor quality of food and timely service on the other two. At this point a food inspector needs to come by and ensure they are storing food properly and cooking the food to its proper temperature/ keeping it in a warming area before someone gets sick for the lack of consistency. If you're okay with food microwaved to be reheated and overpaying then this place is okay, but it could be better.

During weekend, there is live music with bar open in the club house. The room unit is big with good square foot area. However, the laundry is at separate independent building. Which is inconvenient. The club house have games room, large checker board, receiver the equipment. Overall is good. Room can hear the neighbors noise. Nearby attractions is not much. But you definitely can spend a day in Tyler.
