I decided to get gel polish on my natural nails. Nearly 2 weeks after my mani/pedi, my gel polish has held up very well with no chipping on hands or toes. ve been going here for a couple years now. I'll admit, I have even tried places in Destin, FWB, and Pensacola. I go in for pedicures with gel polish. It lasts until the regrowth bothers me too much that I choose to go back (on average 2-3 months). I run, wear combat boots, and just live so it's the best option for me; unlike polish it does not chip or crack, and never smudges. I can go in wearing boots and walk out wearing boots, their gel is tough as nails. After my amazing pedicure tonight (walking in an hour before closing with my daughter and no appointment), I curiously asked about dip nails. I showed my Nail Technician a picture I saw online, nothing crazy, but natural and authorized in uniform, but nonetheless she reassured me they could do it and not to worry about the time. I was concerned because I did not want to keep them there past closing. "Alex" is a new Technician and she blew me away! She took her time, talked me through the process, and exceeded my expectations (both pedi and gel nails) I haven't had any sort of "fake nail" or tip, etc. since proms or weddings 15+ years ago. The owner has always been such a sweet lady to me as well (Vivian or Christine maybe, but both have been equally as nice), they recognize me every time I come in and always ask how my kiddos are doing. I have never been able to make an appointment, but somehow they always tell me they'll get me in. Even if they're busy or at times rushed, the quality I receive never waivers. I made that mistake of reading reviews (a 5 star rated place), paid 2x as much in FWB (super nice people), but the gel fell off and chipped within a week of my pedicure. I can't say enough about how happy I am with all of the services I've received at De Paris, and the prices are beyond reasonable. Thank you Alex (and the sweet owner), after staying for us almost an hour after you were supposed to close, we can't wait to come and see you again soon! Overcharged-language barrier- Called day before appt to get price for basic manicure with gel polish on fingernails and basic pedicure with regular polish on toes. Was quoted $60. I wasn't overly impressed with the cleanliness of the salon, but I had a gift certificate to use. When I arrived I noticed their price board is confusing as prices are marked thru and written over. Other issue came when communicating with nail tech due to the language barrier. He was friendly for what I could understand but he was confused by what I wanted. Spent about 5 min finding matching toe polish that wasn't gel, even though they were lined up on rack next to each other, not a big issue, he was trying to match the color of the gel. The disappoint came when he ran up the bill and was charged $75. I questioned it and another nail tech confirmed mani/pedi was $75 even though I didn't get gel on toes, and was quoted $60 over phone. I am visiting from Georgia and this was my first visit. I went with my Mother and Auntie and they both had acrylic nails and pedicures. They came out fantastic! They are both elderly and the owner and staff were so kind and polite. They treated them as guests. I had a regular mani/pedi with gel polish. My technician was a gem! Very professional, very sweet. This place deserves more credit. I went here for the first time the other day and had a great experience. I got a full set with the dip powder and a gel pedicure. The full set turned out exactly how I wanted and my tech asked a lot of questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted. My pedicure was great and everything was reasonably priced. Don't waste your money! Asked for the hot stone massage pedicure. The pedicure service is supposed to come with all of the bells from the lower tier pedicures plus hot stone massage and extra massage. At first I was impressed with the hot stones. Then I quickly realized the pedicurist was rushing thru my service so she could attend another client she had waiting. She finished my pedicure in less than 15 minutes!! It was so quick that the massage chair was done AFTER she was done with everything that the pedi was supposed to come with (mask, hot stone massage, hot towels, sugar scrub, EXTRA massage, nail maintenance etc). Note that I had been soaking for a few min before she even started attending me. She left me to "soak some more" and went to back to her client. I soaked for about 10 minutes as her replacement finished up with his pedi. Then he came over and did some quick nail maintenance and painted my toes. Before he started, I commented to him that I wasn't sure where she left off in the process, that I'd don't think she was done. But From her chair, she told him that she had finished with everything. My nails were very poor quality they were very uneven and unsymmetrical around all the edges. They were more sharp looking then I wanted after I pointed to the shape of the nail I wanted and the shape I wanted was way more round then sharp. I would recommend that you make an appointment but if you don't the waits USUALLY not that bad. spent $80 for a poor gel manicure and basic pedicure. my nails had multiple visible bubbles all throughout I watch the technician file my nails yet they were bumpy and Rough on the ends I had to show her how just by grazing your finger across the better than nail how uneven and rough the tips were. she asked me to pay first and then she would fix . in the last 15 years that I have gotten my nails done at technician always asks first how do they look then takes the customer to pay I had no problems with paying and sadly paid $80 for nails that were bumpy air bubbles that were incredibly noticeable will not return read more

Called for a waxing appointment, they said it'll be 30 mins, no problem. I show up 25 mins later and still had to wait to get service (lady telling me I had to wait 10 more mins). After waiting for 25 mins I left without getting my wax and no one cared that I had even walked out. In their defense they had 2 other customers. Never going back. Great place for basics like polish change or balance. They do not take credit but have an atm machine and reimbursement for fee. Was disappointed with attention and focus given during my service. What should've been about an hour turned into a two hour service because my manicurist/pedicurist continue to engage in conversation with others in the salon and would stop and pause a moment during my procedures which made the whole thing last a lot longer than it should have. Plus I was cut on my cuticle during the manicure probably because of lack of attention to what they were doing. Not certain I would regular there but if it's just a quick polish change I suppose that would work. Not truly worth full price for a painful cut and lots of pauses during service. RUDE AND HARASSED!!! My friend and I walked into this establishment today to get a pedicure and an express manicure. Let me just start off by saying the employees are constantly forcing you to get additional services done, even after you decline. When I asked to get a pedicure done the lady in the front quickly rolled her eyes at me. After my friend and I got our pedicure done, we went to get our express manicures. The lady that did our nails had an awful attitude she made us pay in the middle of our manicure and when we went to pay she said the total was $43 when the services that we asked for cost $35 they want to scam you in the sneakiest way possible. After we clarified the services we requested initially, she instantly got a bad attitude and threw the credit card back at my friend in front of me and started speaking bad about us in Vietnamese right in front of us ( which I understood) I instantly got up from my seat and asked to speak with a manager, they refused to connect me with a manager and the man that was in the establishment posed as a "manager" when I explained to him what had happened he said that the reason she got an attitude was because she's pregnant. SERIOUSLY?? she didn't even look pregnant, did he really just lie about a pregnancy to validate such poor customer service. I DONT THINK SO. We are extremely disappointed with Paris nails and I will share my experience with the people that recommended this place to me. This is unacceptable and there is no way we will ever be back. I stopped in for the first time on a Friday afternoon and regret it! I asked for my eyebrows to be waxed and a pedicure. I was able to get a wax but regret it. She left them very thin when she said she would only clean them up. They do the waxing on a chair, as in an office chair with wheels! So you move every time they touch you. She also handed me a headband that I can only assume she asks everyone to wear. She said it was to keep the wax out of my hair! What! Why would you get wax in my hair! Thankfully, they are not properly staffed. They only had two people working and had two appointments coming in so I did not wait for the pedicure. So they had two appointments scheduled on Friday afternoon and didn't think to bring on another employee? They had more than two pedicure chairs so I assume they should have more than 2 employees. If I could, I'd rate this salon as a negative one. I came in from out of town to visit family. I walked-in and was told the waiting time would be 20 minutes but it was actually 40 minutes. When I was finally waited on, the attendant asked me to choose my nail color and when I did, she repeatedly questioned my choice then mocked my choice -outloud. Enough so, that other customers in the salon took note of it and even laughed. Eventually, she 'allowed' my choice muttering a solemn "whatever." When it came down to polishing my nails, she informed me that actually she didn't have the color I had chosen in gel and tried (again) to get me to choose another color of her liking. When I refused, we settled on no color at all. I left the salon with no color at all on my nails (not even clear) and a terrible experience in my mind. Not to mention the fact that's she charged me full price! I will never go back, and neither will anyone I know. Very disappointing and flat out rude. I cannot believe that especially during the holiday season a salon would choose to have employees that treat clients so poorly. Terrible! read more
