He got beyond mad. I switched colors and he had to Redo several of them because he would touch before they were set... They cracked the following day, and one mail came off 3 days later. When my sister requested a very simple polish job that this salon immediately said they couldn't do, we should've walked out the door. We took a chance, and I'm in pain today (the day after) after my nail tech filed the skin on my fingers as hard as my nails. As she did this I said "ow, you're hurting me" and she said "oh" and changed nothing about what she was doing. A little skin roughing always comes with the territory, but if she had taken her time and worked slowly she wouldn't have drawn blood by sanding my skin. My pic doesn't do justice to how much the skin hurts. I'm giving two stars because my nails turned out ok. My sister's job was absolutely botched, it literally looked like a toddler did it. Jagged edges, uneven at the nail bed, uneven lengths and shapes. We'd never seen anything like it. Run away from this place. My friends and I finally made a much needed appointment for 3 pedicures. We purchased the Deluxe for $40 which was a little more than a regular pedicure. There was nothing deluxe about it. A bit of nail trim, minimal scrubbing of the feet and lotion applied. No massage of the legs or feet. Only thing they have going for them is that they are clean. Don't waste your money! read more

We are here visiting and decided to try Navarre Nails for pedicures (husband and I) and I got a dip/gel polish change. I have a great place at home and was a little nervous about trying a new place. This was the nicest salon. The people were all smiling and very friendly. They also got us in the same day. They post pricing on the wall, which is also nice. Their pricing is very reasonable. I went to Navarre Nails for my first time due to being in the area. The lady who greeted me was very nice. I told her I would like a pedicure and she said "ok". She then walked into the back of the shop where there were several guys sitting playing on their phones and told them I was there for a pedicure. One of the guys said loudly, " I am not doing no guy". It was so loud another customer looked at me and asked me was what she heard was accurate. Hands down the best manicure I've ever had. The salon is clean and friendly. I was hesitant to get a manicure someplace outside my hometown. I took a chance because I needed one so badly, and I'm so glad I did. I just wish I could transport this salon home with me. The good: they were available for walk-in. but, think in these times you're supposed to make an appointment. They had a decent selection of colors and sparkly powders. Price was average. The cons: rude comments, standard parts of manicure missing. I shouldn't ever have to ask for lotion when getting a manicure. The way they soak off my powder nails dried my skin horribly. They had my hands soaking in acetone- not just some cotton soaked in acetone- the whole fingers soaking in acetone. I didn't find them particularly friendly towards me. They nicked my finger with a tool and when I mentioned it they blew me off. I felt pain shooting off my nail bed like a nerve pain. They wouldn't cut my nails short. My nails are jagged now because the way they did them . The powder dip manicure usually lasts me a month. Here it last a few days before I had cracks and chips. The point of powder dip is how long it lasts. The staff had scowls and sat around unmasked If you're concerned about mask wearing by staff, I wouldn't go here. If you want friendly, quality relaxing nail salon experience, it may work for you it may not. read more

It's a shame because they really do wonderful pedicures but every single time I get my nails done they don't listen to me. This last time takes the cake. I got handed off to a younger man because the person who did my pedicure was busy. I showed him several photos of how I want my nails for size and a pattern with glitter polish. He said it would be $5 more. I say no problem. He asked if I want them cut down. I say yes. He then doesn't cut them down whatsoever. Then continues to make odd comments about my pointy nails scratching people and they are how I'll get a boyfriend and "do I hate everyone?". Not to mention he wasn't gentle. I have stinging cuts all over my cuticles. And he kept bending my fingers back in a way that hurt and squeezing the hell out of them. Then fast forward to the end he said he didn't cut my nails short because pointy nails don't look good short. Then he completely forgot about the sparkles I had asked for and I didn't bother asking after he told me I was done and he got up. Then he leaves me up at the counter and takes a new client. Meanwhile his coworkers are motioning to him to get my money. Absolutely ridiculous. $100 to get treated like that? No thanks I'll go to one of the hundreds of other places. read more

Went here today to have gel polish removed (from a different salon, I'm from out of town) and got a regular polish manicure with a matte topcoat. The young man who did my nails was an absolute pleasure! He was very professional and took his time to allow the acetone to properly soak off the glitter gel. The manicure itself was very well done and he was friendly all the while. The salon itself was very clean and bright, with a nice array of polish options. I didn't like the job the first time from a different nail spot in PENSACOLA so I was reluctant to try it again. But Nick listened to me and did exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance isn't very spa like and the massage chair isn't comfortable but the service makes up for it all. I will definitely return. It takes a lot for me to review a place and even more to write a bad review. This was honestly the worst dip manicure I've ever gotten in my life. First no one in the salon could do an extremely simple nail art design, then the guy rushed through my nails and the shaping was awful. The nails had no apex, they were raised at the cuticle rather than going into a gradual slope, and the overall shaping of each nails was horrible. Wanted a simple almond shape and they were all different and some were even jagged. I dabble in my own dip manicures and I could blow them out of the water, pretty sure my two year old nephew could too. My sister got her nails done here too with the dip and 5 nails cracked within 2 days and they cut her cuticles so bad she bled. Once again it was because of incorrect applications and lack of formation of a proper nail shape. (Dip nails need an apex to be strong). I attached pictures of when the nails were freshly done (terribly) and after I took my own nail drill to them to try and salvage the horrendous shaping. The pictures unfortunately don't truly capture how bad the manicure really was, nor would someone who doesn't know nails that well think much of it. But I was extremely disappointed. read more

Ew. I used to really like this place but it seems to have gone downhill in the past few months. Was just there yesterday and left quite disappointed. First, they use used toe separators! If you don't see them take them out of plastic I can guarantee they are used. Second, One of the pedicure sinks didn't get cleaned while I was there so I wonder how many times it happens in a day. They guy had a mani to do so he just walked a way and then someone else came by, put a clean towel down and sat someone down at it. Lastly, I came in and some people that were already sitting getting pedis were still getting their toes done when I left...I paid for the mid pedi (with the rock massage) so I felt mine was very rushed while others got a nice long pedi. I get that they are busier in the summer but they gotta step up their game. read more

We are new in town, and took my daughter there for her birthday today. She got a pedicure, I got a full set of acrylic nails. Maybe we're spoiled, but felt the salon was unattractive, my technician was easily distracted (when anyone walked in the door she looked up, while continuing to file, nicking my cuticles ... twice!), and she hardly gave me the time of day while conversing with her co-workers in Vietnamese. My daughter was also nicked, too, with toe bleeding a bit. All this pleasure for $100! Needless to say, we will not be returning. read more

When I first moved to Florida I stopped here. A man did my nails and a woman did my design. My design was awesome, she did amazing. They only take cash and I felt they were a bit expensive. However I went back again and a lady did my nails and my design, I felt the lady only knew how to do a certain type of design so that is what she pushes. The lady who did my design the first time was not there. Also I felt like I paid too close to what I paid for with the full set when I was only getting a fill in. The last time I went here I was extremely disappointed in my nails because the design was once again the only thing the lady knew how to do. Customer service was great had me and my mom laughing the whole time. My pedicure was good just wish they would have given me longer massage. We had 1 guy trying to do both of our nails at the same time. I got Shellac French tip on Tuesday April 15. Since he was trying to do 2 of us at once and was rushing he had to redo my nails while I was in there. It's only been 3 days and you would think I got my nails done weeks ago:-(. If I could give 0 stars I would. These workers were gambling in the back sitting on the pedicure chairs when I walked in. I was referred here by a friend, I even called ahead to see if this Lydia was available to do a dip. I was told yes come in. I waited for like 10 min and they sent this older Vietnamese woman to me, I said hello and asked 2 x if her name was Lydia, she never answered and continued to talk to her co workers. While she was doing my nails I was exposing to her how I like them shaped, length, etc. She reply's I know ok. I did have to have a couple of tips out on, but when I pointed out that one of them was extremely crooked, she says I know don't worry. Then after she cut them down, she was about to shape them and I said they're not even. I decided to be quiet and wait to see how they looked. She started talking Vietnamese to all of her friends, but no big deal. Before she started to put the top coat, I hold my nails up to see and two of them were so bumpy and not smooth the way they're suppose to be, and my nails were shaped weird. I asked her to try and fix the bumpy nails, well that's when she started talking Vietnamese again but this time I knew she was cussing and talking shit. I know because I have a lot of Vietnamese friends in California and what is the first thing you learn in another language? Cuss words!! I immediately told her I understood what she was saying and that she should be more careful of what she's saying in front or about customers. She denied saying anything bad, and I let her know in English what she said. COMPLETE SILENCE. Then on top of that I find out her name isn't even Lydia, because Lydia sat down to do another lady's nails 10 minutes after this woman started doing mine?????What??? When I went up to pay, I said to her it's too bad she was sooo rude and unprofessional because I'm usually a great tipper. I tipped her 5 bucks and pointed out why it was so low. She basically started yelling telling me I DON'T CARE IF YOU GIVE ME NOTHING!! I JUST LEFT. What I should of done is cross out the 5.00 tip. WOW SAVE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER GO HERE!! read more
