I just left there after waiting 2 hours for someone to do my pedicure. Than the lady rushed through my Deluxe pedicure and away I went. Their prices have gone up and I didn't dare not leave a tip but I'm not going back. They were not busy at all. I've been there before and had good experiences. This was over the top for poor service. Disappointed in the service and the product. The service tech was rude, did not engage, ask what I wanted for shaping, said "too late" when I corrected it, but then said she didn't ask and went back and fixed it. She didn't apply a good moisturizer or little massage like you'd normally have with a manicure, it was just such an off putting experience. The color I picked was low, she complained about it being low, enough for me to say I'll change the color. but didn't want to change the color, even after I requested her to, she said "this fine" and went on with it. Ran my card in the middle of this conversation with my nails half painted and looking for another bottle of the color and prompted me twice to sign it before she had finished half my hand. The color turned out nice in the end, I complimented her, but she didn't say anything, it was uncomfortable. After the paint, she used a tool to spread lotion from a package the very very little had bits left, wiped it off the counter and onto my hands--YUCK. Because she barely applied a lotion, the rub was rough, she rushed through it like a chore, I'm not sure she intended to do it at all the way she acted about me signing. I didn't feel attended to or relaxed at all. I understand people have bad days, or they are rushed, end of week etc. but to top it all off, the top player of my pointer nail completely peels off when I got home, after a gel paint manicure, that usually last for at least 4 weeks in the past. Save your money or go somewhere that they will treat you like a valued customer and provide you the products and services you're paying them for! I won't be going back. read more

Mindy was phenomenal!!! She stayed late and took so much time with my nails. I got the dip treatment for $40! She gave me a wonderful hand massage as well! I love that they asked each person to wash their hands BEFORE any service, upon arriving, and after! I loved that every lady was dressed for success and made a concerted effort to make friendly, unoppressive small talk. The atmosphere and location was great. Ruby Nails is amazing! They are #1 in service and quality of that service. I always leave there feeling refreshed and the staff is incredible. As far as COVID, they are strictly following protocol. They will sell a mask for $1 if someone enters without one and the staff wears them (and correctly at that) along with gloves. They have always had a stringent cleaning process for the pedicure chairs and any and all tools used. They have a customer for a long time. :) read more

Second person to get there upon opening. I was there 3 1/2 hours, was charged an up charge $65 because of the length of time it took her to do my acrylics , yet she was the one constantly getting up going to the desk as people came in and was constantly answering the phone . She cut two of my fingers with the drill. I was bleeding , she applied pressure til it stopped. She didn't trim my cuticles. My nails don't look like they were just done because of it . I had acrylics put on . $65 and I look like my nails haven't been done in weeks . I'm very disappointed. read more

I was very caught off guard by the prices of a pedicure at ruby nails because the service did not match. The lady that did my pedi could not speak any English so other ladies had to translate. I've never paid $76 for a pedicure that did not match its service. For now own I will check reviews before visiting such businesses. I needed a salon that was open Sunday so I found this one. They were very busy and there are no appointments on Sundays. I was getting a gel manicure and the manager was doing it so I never had his full attention. He was up and down and directing traffic the whole time. It was very rushed. I did sit next to another customer who told me she really liked the place but she went to a particular girl who did her nails all the time. I was on vacation and decided to stop in at Rubys Nails because I needed a new set of SNS and a pedicure. This entire process took 4 hours and I was there early with no wait. The lady who did my pedicure was fine. She had me soaking my nails though however the entire time she was doing my feet, and basically I had to scratch my nails off myself in the bowl. Usually more professional places have the tools to get it off since this is the first time I've had to do it by myself. I've NEVER had an issue anywhere else. Though the pedicure seemed okay at the end of the day, I can say she could have put more effort into it as it seemed as if she was just half-assing the pedicure and everything that came with the "package" I got. I just felt more work could have been done for the price I paid. Come to the nail part. I was taken to another lady and told her I wanted a full set of SNS with tips. And I just wanted white all white. I have gotten this many times before and know what I get. She told me to listen to her advice and to just do pink and white. I told her ok, but she chose the pink part for me and never let me get a chance to chose another color. Then I showed her a picture of what I wanted and how I wanted the shape. As she was doing it (not to mention she cut two of my fingers with the drill and just held it with her hands which is not sanitary at all) its like she was just doing her own way and completely disregarding what I wanted. I politely asked her while she was in process still if she can cut it a bit shorter and if she can do the white part a bit thinner. She snapped at me and said "I'M NOT DONE YET, I'm not finished!" I said I know no worries just making sure you knew how I wanted the shape and the design. She finished one hand and it was NOT WHAT I WANTED AT ALL. I told her what happened to the shape and the white part being more thinner? I am not too sure this looks nothing like this simple picture. She freaked out on me and started yelling "I AM DONE YOU ARE SO DIFFICULT CUSTOMER! YOU WERE ALL ON YOUR PHONE AND EVERYTHING AND I ASKED IF IT WAS OK" and points at some other customer behind me trying to get her involved and I'm like "Why is this customer have anything to do with our conversation? I was on the phone with my free hand like a normal customer. She was out of line to yell at me like that and just get up and leave one of my hands looking half ass done and the other NOTHING I wanted to begin with. I usually have never argued with anyone at the nail salon. I'm simple. I like white or nude nails. And a specific shape. If you work at a nail salon you should also have good customer service and just work with what your customer wants and pays for! Simple as that. The manager came in and fixed as good as she could so I appreciate that but I still shouldn't have been charged the entire amount at the end of the day. Lady said I didn't have to pay and to have to go through humility of being yelled at my a lazy worker I feel like this was a complete rip-off and not to mention unprofessional. They need to step their customer service up and cater well to tourists as well. Because I go to Navarre a lot and best believe I will not be recommending my Navarre friends to go there, although I'm sure they have better places! read more

I got a mani and deluxe pedi and removed the powder dip from my finger nails. The Deluxe was $40. Great price for the service. Kim was fantastic, she actually spent the 40 min on my pedi. She shaped my nails exactly how I wanted. She was very nice and she gave amazing strong massages. I don't get manicures/pedicures done very often, but I know Ruby's could have done a better job customer service-wise. I went with my mom and sister on New Year's Eve. That was our first mistake. This was the only salon open in the Navarre area that day, so of course they were swamped all day, but it was my sister's birthday and birthday girl chooses what we do. We ended up staying for two and a half hours, with only about an hour of that active time with technicians. We sat in the pedicure chairs for almost 40 minutes before anyone turned on the water to start the foot soak. Then it was another 20 minutes or so before technicians started working on us. My mother's technician was hella distracted and constantly stopping and taking breaks to diddle on her phone and make calls. Every time she came out of the back room her hair style had changed from a ponytail to a half up to down, and back again. She clearly wasn't focused and cared more about getting her New Year's plans in order. When the technicians found out it was my sister's birthday, their reaction was very unenthusiastic. I mean, I don't expect them to go all out, but a simple-fake-smile-happy-birthday! would have sufficed. My technician tried to make polite conversation at times, but my mom and sister's technicians essentially ignored them and just did their work. I noticed throughout the pedicures and manicures that the three technicians we had did everything differently. Their method wasn't uniform and I didn't know if they were doing things on the fly/out of order/skipping steps because they were rushed or what. We had a deluxe pedicure and the leg scrub/warm towel step was most out of sync between the three of us. The end result of our nails was fine, but I've learned my lesson to never go to a salon on New Year's Eve again. read more

Went today before going to Publix to see if I could find a place a little closer to my home (I've been driving to Pensacola). Pros: massage was fairly good. Only reason for the second star. I treated my two sisters and I to pedicures for Mother's Day. Two of the three manicurists acted as if they wanted to be anywhere but there, went so fast that they cut us and made us bleed, and had the worst customer service etiquette. This was my second trip there, the first wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as this one. We will never go back, and will never recommend this establishment. Update: My youngest sister recently had to have her toenail removed because of an infection resulting from her pedicure done here. She was prescribed antibiotics, and none of them could heal it. read more
