This store is mini Trader Joe's and I was amazed by the selection. The gluten free products for a tiny store was amazing and what was crazier, they were priced the same as large retailers! Beer drinkers check out the cooler, I expected Coors Lite and I saw a myriad of micro brew beers and ciders. The wine selection is small but that too is amazing. We picked up a bottle of Shandel's Oppenlander Pinot just for kicks because the grapes were grown in Comptche, our regret, we wished we should have picked up more because I will not be able to find it. What made this stop fun, we sat on the bench and shared Ben and Jerry's ice cream and watched people come and go. The redwood bench is carved up with local names and a few shared their story with us. The "Road Gold" aka gas pump is an old school so don't even think of getting gas at midnight! The hours are limited so be sure you keep your tank half full! Things you should know.... This is a cash only store. Yes, cash, the paper stuff and your coins. Second point, forget your phone, there is no service!
