They didn't resolve anything if they resolved that they would've fixed the leak. Also environmental protection agency told him to fix it and they didn't fix it. It turned to a flood by the Fourth of July so if they're saying they don't resolve it with me they also didn't resolve it with the environmental protection agency. We had an open report. I called environmental protection agency to help but this public storage did not fix the leak snd it flooded my unit in the Fourth of July Only resolution from Donald was two 5x5 that were climate controlled Sorry, having a leak in my unit I had for a few years in April. Didn't hear back from the district manager in three weeks and they told me the company has audacity to tell me that they try to resolve something and later that month Dan Sabina told me in May that there was no problem that his people came out and there were no leaking pipes so I decided to stay in that unit because he didn't have any units available except for maybe two 5 x 5 so we were gonna wait for a 10 x 10 and we had a mutual agreement but what happens on June 10 after heading up in my unit for two weeks he forgot to grant me access I started to see flooding coming out of the unit next to me so I called him on June 11 and he didn't tell his property manager, but I did call the Public Storage company and I told him that I had flooding into my unit and nobody ever called me to inspect it. Nobody said let's move it tomorrow and somehow Neil Callaway is under the impression that I just didn't call him back. I must've called Donald Sabanano many times. I got one message from property manager. Josephine wanted me to sign a new contract. Pay a bunch of fees to move me and that's what we required to move me out and I said oh no I don't know you. I don't have to sign into contract. I can do a transfer so I didn't hear anybody from anybody for a while and the Donald Sabanano said it's rare that they rarely have any 10 by tens in a unit that I wanted and I didn't want to stay in the same building where there's rats I've had two rat fest infestations and I didn't want to stay in the building. The building has had now four leaks daily flooding and two rat infestations and I said I don't wanna stay in this building except for there was one unit for me to do an immediate transfer and Josephine rented out that unit, however your Regional VP Neil Calloway is under the impression. Everybody's just doing their job and they're calling. They've tried to call me and I'm not calling them. No I must've called them several times. I've got one call from Donald Sabanano but he never made an appointment. He didn't tell me the price. He didn't tell me when it was available or anything. He just left an erratic message. Anyhow, I got one message from him. I tried calling him back. He leaves me erratic messages to call him back, but I can never reach him and Josephine. The property manager says the same thing nobody ever tells her anything and even if I call the corporate and she knows about it she doesn't know about the problem, but she didn't know about the problem on April 17 when she took the pictures and I kindly asked her would you please tell me if you're gonna fix the problem or if you're gonna need to move me? Why does it take three weeks and then for Donald ALLEN to call me and then two weeks for him to tell me that there's not a problem and then I get flooding so now it's my fault cause I didn't answer somebody's call. I have been a customer here for 20 years. I've never been so appalled in my life that someone neglect something like a leak in the AC unit which is wouldn't be hard to inspect open my unit not once even whether I moved or I didn't move or I called or I didn't get a call back or I didn't call or whatever. what does it take for a company to just look inside your unit just to inspect it and don't stop I never did that and Neil Calloway your VP thinks it's OK. This is the head on show of the Bay Area. It's OK to flood. It's OK to call the fire department to the point where we hope that their sprinkler system is working in a building

I've been a customer for a couple of years now and have rented vans and trucks in the past. I agree…read morewith other reviews, it is true they are not clean, clean and I swept crumbs off the seats and wiped away dust on the dashboard, etc to make it manageable for myself. However, the trucks drive well, discounts can be found, and the back of the trucks are clean. I find Empire Mini Storage to be the least expensive storage provider in Marin. The location is in Bel Marin Keyes and is a safe environment. Someone lives above the office and someone on site after hours. There is a stream that runs next to Empire, and during atmospheric river events, they have not flooded. Although standing water does accumulate near the back doors. My unit is on the first floor and I worry about flooding. Knock wood, so far, there has been no seeping water or flooding. The location is near "open space" and I worry about cridders. I have not seen droppings however there are several traps along the walls. Bird droppings accumulate during summer months when the birds nest in the corners. I sometimes worry about the birds attacking me as I walk by and the feather dust falling in my eyes. So far it is manageable. Once in, I use the other door. One concern I have is the extra fees. A pre-lien fee is charged if you are one month late on rent. I do think the pre-lien fee is a class action suit waiting to happen. There is also a late fee that management will waive under certain circumstances. The online website works well to pay your bills however, sometimes it doesn't take my payment method and phone payments have their limitations as you have to have your card on file for it to be used. I change my debit cards frequently and have to drive to the location to fill out the paperwork once again. I chalk it up to visiting my stuff and cycling it out. Overall, I am happy with the location, the service, and the staff.
