Sarah called me left a vm to inform me my code was working when it was not so I had to call Corporate Office and he had to give me a different number. I got to run around and I had to come back to her location to try to get another number and they blocked me out which prevented me from a timely move out Also, she used her phone to record me without my permission which is invasion of privacy. read more

It's a great place to store your stuff but definitely go organized and clean it once a month. There's a rat issue I've noticed and it's been destroying my stuff. I don't know if anyone is having issue there. But I am. But overall it's a good place and it's secure with a keypad. read more

Very clean and well run facility. I like that they offer an app to manage my account. I can not only change my credit card on file if necessary I can also use my cell phone for contactless entry into the facility. The access hours are decent 6 AM to 9 PM. I notice cameras , push carts , ample parking and restrooms available. Rates are competitive and it is climate controlled. read more

I am giving this location 5 stars based solely on the experience I had with the on-site manager, Sara. She is absolutely wonderful! I found her to be super friendly and patient while providing me with excellent customer service. When I ran into a snag while securing a unit on-line, she walked me through it over the phone and made certain she could sort out the problem. She even stayed after hours until she discovered the solution and my unit was secured. Upon arrival the next day, she greeted me with a smile, showed me my unit and explained allI I needed to know about the facility. It is immaculate l, air controlled and the spaces are easy to access. It seems brand new to me but I believe it has been around for a while. This facility works well for us but I give it 5 stars because of Melissa. We rent 4 units here and managing them is sometimes chaotic for us but Melissa is always on top of things. Watch out about the locks they sell! These locks look like high quality locks, but are knock-offs of Avis locks. The round type that they carry in the office are easy to pick, the keys break easy, and no one has blanks to make copies of the keys. Home Depot, Lowes, ACE Hardware, and the local locksmith do NOT have these key blanks because they are cheap, stamped keys, from China. If you lose or break the keys, you have to buy a new lock. read more

I have been renting space at this location for three years plus. New management has been installed within a year and they are not user friendly to say the least. Here's what you won't hear from them; 1) The only bathroom has been "out of order" for over a year. 2) Carts which used to be available after hours are now locked in the office and not accessible to the hundreds of users unless the office is open. Why? Because someone e "stole" a cart over one year ago. Instead of buying another, everyone has to suffer so they can save $100. 3) One day late on a payment and you are locked out of the facility. Not in your rental agreement but that's how they do it now! I am looking for another unit and so should you! read more

I began renting a unit 17 months ago. I received notification that they will be increasing my rent again in October. This will bring it to a 98% increase in 18 months. (20% this next increase alone) I complained and they replied their prices are competitive. I replied I couldn't find a higher priced facility in the area. Solved the leaking roof problem, moved my possessions to another facility. As there is no liability for contents damaged while stored at a Public Storage facility they really should maintain a facility and provide a roof that does not leak, especially when the cages under the leaky roof have ceiling made of chicken wire!!! read more

Property is clean, well maintained and the office staff are great. Jasmine was very helpful when I stopped in recently to get the new door access code. I haven't had any problems with leaks in the three years I've had a storage locker here, no issues with locks either. I like that they require a security code to even get in the building, and they check the lock on my unit periodically, as evidenced by the sticker I find on the lock if I haven't been there in a month or more. Absolutely the best! Melissa the property manager helped me when I lost my keys to my lock. She promptly called the district manager Iris who is the only person that has the authority to cut locks. Been renting over a year, come to find the gate does not lock. Security obviously not their number one concern.Outside door doesn't lock or the gate code is not working People are paying good money to store their personal belongings and anyone could walk in at anytime. Over the past 4 years I have rented storage units at 4 different storage facilities in the SF Bay Area, three in Marin and one in Santa Rosa. I have also looked into quite a few others. The Public Storage on Rush Landing Rd in Novato is the best storage facility in my experience. It is a newer facility which is very nice. It is climate controlled which is a big plus in the hot Marin Spring, summer, and fall. It is clean. It has a very good security system. The prices are the best compared to other storage places. The location is nice as it is located on a very quiet road with a nice view of wetlands. It is peaceful and enjoyable to go there. Best of all, the manager Melissa is wonderful, kind, conscientious, very helpful, and very good at keeping the storage facility running smoothly. Her team is also very good. read more

This location may be a bit pricey, but it is temperature controled (more or less). The unit is secure and has great access hours. I personally experienced the roof leakage issue others have mentioned in my unit, and got a call from PS to have me check on my contents. A few wet boxes was frustrating, and not the end of the world. I agree they should fix it without a doubt - and if I were staying I would insist on it. The reason I stayed here has always been the good service. I cleared out my unit yesterday and called this morning to finalize my vacancy and Melissa *huge gold star for her* had already closed my account out for me. A proactive approach? In this day and age? Hats off for hiring Melissa who obviously takes pride in her work. Thank you Melissa. read more

We have used this public storage facility for a few years. The people who work the office are super nice and helpful. I like that you have to put in a code to get inside the building which is climate controlled. We have not experienced any leaks so far.
