I walked in to see their cheese factory and was surprised by their different flavors of cheddar. I like dairy products but dairy products don't like me, so I didn't pick anything up this time. The petting zoo was the most intriguing to me. Most of the animals were excited to be fed while others were just hanging out in the shade. Their enclosures looked a little small for them though. There was only one rabbit who was hiding away in their little house. It looked like it could use some grass to hop around in. I wish the hand sanitizer dispensers were filled. Every single one was empty, but I eventually found the restroom to wash off. I noticed there's a dog park here too. I'm hoping I could come back here with my dog during our next road trip. I'm sure he'd enjoy this change of scenery.

Recently just got back from another year of being part of the harvest of the adopt a tree program…read more This particular year marks the 20th year anniversary of the program. A buddy of mine had participated in the program for about 14 years. Crazy! I don't know the fine details about the adopt a tree program, but if you're interested, you totally should look into it or do it. The fruit here is just absolutely amazing. It's used in lots of popular restaurants in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Also, the head editor (Bill Addison) of LA Times food was asked what was his favorite fruit was and he referenced this farm and its stone fruit. I'm actually planning on going to a pie shop that uses fruit this Friday for a special event. and Los Angeles. Way too big for the plate....worst of all.....same chicken that was in my wife's sandwich. We ordered that and a few more dishes and a hot tea. She rolled her eyes at us every time we asked about the dressing on the side or a substitute for a side. And then we asked for a cup of hot tea, and she hands us a clear plastic cup. I told her it would melt and she looked at me with such attitude, as if I said something offensive or inappropriate. She kept huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. We ended up canceling the whole order and leaving. They cracked open with ripeness! There was a really adorable little hay stack enclosed section where they had the larger size pumpkins located. There were corn stalks, small pumpkins, gourds, and a scarecrow. Adorable; my nephew and I had fun picking out a pumpkin in the cordoned off haystack area. They also offer fresh honey, dehydrated fruits, bagged nuts and tons of produce. The woman operating it was friendly and patient with us as we hemmed, hawed and guffawed at the options available. Stop in! It's right off the road with easy parking and easy in/out.

My purchase was for $14, not bad considering the organic, roasted & unsalted pistachios at Sprouts were for $12.49. The Fiesta pistachios have all the flavors they have available. Some featured flavors that I noticed after I have paid for mine were, garlic, jalapeño....I would've gotten the garlic for sure! Next time. Snacked on these on the way home & these were really good, packed with flavors, especially the garlic are pretty spicy. Will definitely try other flavors when I visit next tome. They are a seasonal vendor at this market, here mainly during the stone fruits and grape seasons. At the peak of summer, I really enjoyed their nectarines which were extremely sweet. Rebecca always made me smile when I paid her... gee, did I really say that?! With the shelter in place on, she almost exclusively works the cashier while the other guys put customers' orders together. Michael has been extremely helpful knowing my demanding requirements in picking my family's fruits.
