Close to this is the United States Botanic Garden. The Capitol Building is just past the office buildings from here. It overall is in a safe area. It's conveniently on Capitol Hill. There's always a lot of good security.

This is the first station after crossing the Anacostia River from the Navy Yard. It can be said the area is ghetto. This is a much tougher area and there's not much that's right around it. Anacostia Park is quite a ways from here. That would be about the only thing a tourist would come here and see. If you are interested in seeing a more authentic neighborhood in DC then get off here. It's best to come here during the day and not at night. There's usually sketchy looking people asking for money and typical ghetto things like that.

This station is super simple in that it only has one exit. As the name implies, it drops you off in Federal Center which consists of tons of federal agency buildings. Although this Metro stop may be used by commuters the most, it is also convenient to lovely attractions like the US Capital building, US Botanical Gardens and Bartholdi Park. The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself.
