I desperately tried various over-the-counter shoe inserts from brands like Sof Sole, Orthofeet, and Birkenstock, but none offered any relief. I consulted a podiatrist, and X-rays revealed bone spurs on both my left and right heels (though only the left was symptomatic at the time). My podiatrist explained that there wasn't a definitive cure for bone spurs; instead, the focus was on pain reduction to enable a normal life. She strongly recommended I visit "the best Certified Pedorthist in NYC," Spencer Weisbond (her exact words), for custom-made orthotics. At that point, I was willing to try anything for even a slight reduction in pain, so I promptly scheduled an appointment. My experience at Orthotic Solutions was excellent from the start. Spencer made the molding process easy and comfortable while he explained everything thoroughly and efficiently. A few weeks later, I returned to pick up my custom orthotics. Spencer trimmed them to fit the shoes I brought and provided instructions on their care. My hope was that they would at least ease the pain enough for me to walk short distances around the city. What happened, however, was far more profound. In just a few weeks of always using my custom orthotics, the pain in my left heel had completely disappeared. That was two years ago, and I remain entirely pain-free when using my custom orthotics. Occasionally, if I walk for extended periods without them or go barefoot, I can feel a hint of pain starting to return, reminding me that the bone spurs are still present. But the custom orthotics properly distributes the pressure on my feet, allowing me to walk without pain. I just received my invoice for a Breg ACL knee brace…read more Issue #1: They've also charged me for a "suspension sleeve" which I never ordered and never received. Issue #2: What they charged for my knee brace is nothing less than price gouging. * $1,101.58 is the price on my bill. * On Amazon, the same exact brace, same brand (Breg), same features, was $169.99 as of the day I write this. A difference of $930? And that's without buying in bulk like an orthopedic supply business can. To be clear, and fair: I have ZERO issue paying for their services where they measured my leg and showed me how to adjust the brace. But that's not worth $930. I wasn't even there 30 minutes. I will be calling the office Monday and getting the incorrect item part addressed. The price gouging on the knee brace is ATROCIOUS and I am disgusted!

copying & pasting my google review here so more people are warned…read more do not come here for bunion surgery. read that as many times as you need so you can save yourself. dr lee was my surgeon. what i thought was a confident attitude during consultations was actually carelessness. he did the bunion surgery on me over a year ago. i have been in pain ever since. i complained that the pain was not improving for MANY months. he would shrug (even saying "huh" "im confused" "i don't know what's going on" etc, verbatim) and send me off to PT, where the pain still did not go away & problems worsened. he preferred to talk to me about my personal life instead of the worsening pain i was experiencing. go figure. now, i have several complications, unable to move forward with my life, barely able to walk, my other foot developing problems from compensating, and in constant pain. i am crippled. i am in more pain now than before the surgery. i actually miss having the bunion. i'm likely looking at a revision surgery. never again at livingston though. i would give 0 stars if i could. again, whatever you do, do NOT come here for bunion surgery.
