My family was visiting Lebanon area in TN, we went to see a movie, a great place to relax.

This theater was clean and the staff all worked well to enter the theater to clean up after the movie. The popcorn is delicious and you can put on your own butter flavor. You could serve yourself a beverage. The theater was comfortable , not too cold. The seats were leather and seemed clean. The price for tickets was less than the AMC theaters. I signed up for their rewards and plan on coming back for $6 Tuesdays! Nice theater! read more

From the rancid "butter flavor" that rendered the popcorn inedible (would you eat something that smelled like doggy doo?), to the uncomfortable rocker seats, to the unclean bathrooms, and of course, the insane concession prices, and a general atmosphere of decay, I suggest going to Hendersonville....or anyplace for that matter. read more

I've had a positive movie experience with these folks from Yorkville to TN. These theaters have a small town feel to them. The employees are friendly young people. I cannot remember if they have a bar. But if I want to see a show I would go to an NCG. read more

This is the only theater I have been to in the area and every visit has been delightful. The first time I came was to see Finding Dory in 3D with my niece for her quinceañera outing after the Justin Bieber concert and the second time was this past week with my friend's family for their Father's Day outing. Both times were special events and they both felt like special events coming here. This place has a the usual selection of food but also a few unique things such as stuffed pretzels, which I have never seen anywhere else. So of course, we grabbed a jalapeño and cheese one as well as a pizza one. These do take a minute or two to prepare (they do not come from the display case apparently) so be aware of that if you are already late for your movie. I thought both were pretty good but I definitely liked the jalapeño one better. They also have some frozen lemonades which were delightful. I think my favorite thing about this place is the seating. The seats are all comfortably cushioned with lots of room to move around. The arms also come up so you can snuggle if you want. It's not exactly comfy to snuggle and still see unless the seats all around you are empty and you can stretch out a bit (in my opinion) but I was determined to do so anyway. I always have fun whenever we come and will make this my place to go whenever I want to see a movie in Gallatin. So I want to start off by saying that I'm a proud attendant of this movie theater. But today I ran into an issue that I think is unacceptable. Me and my friend went to buy popcorn and a drink but we had noticed they closed down the counter. Keep in mind this was at 9:45 so no late time or anything. But with movies still playing around 11 o'clock I would assume they would keep it open till at least 10. This wasn't the reason we are upset, we are upset because of the smart comments made. Once they informed us they were no longer open.. one young man decided to make a rude remark commenting "they had no 2 cents". This honestly was so upsetting and in my opinion plain out rude. read more

My favorite feature of this theater is that the ticket office is inside. So no standing in the wet or cold while you wait to buy tickets. Thank you, NCG. Next, concessions is right next to the ticket booth. Come with a group and someone gets tickets while everyone else loads up on the snacks. Theaters have high-backed, over-sized seating with armrests that can be raised. Seating is not reserved so come early to early showings. Theaters are cleaned between showings. read more

I've come in at just about every time of day and during premiere nights, and the theater is always clean and the employees always have a positive attitude. My husband and I are regulars at this theater, and it has become our favorite. We've seen movies on opening night. Even then, we have yet to run into huge crowds, which is always a plus. This theater receives the latest movies and has a reward club. NCG is located off Nashville Pike behind a small shopping center. However, it's easy to find and has plenty of parking. The lobby is clean and spacious. The employees are friendly. The theater is also clean with seats that are big, plush, and comfy. My husband and I have seen at many different times at this theater (weekday/ weekend daytime and weekday/ weekend evening), and we have had nothing but good experiences. read more

Three words: Cheap, Clean, Nice. This theater is our (my wife and I) go to theater. We live in Hendersonville and it is worth the extra few minutes to get there. Free refills on soda and popcorn (soda is self serve), cheaper movie tickets ($8.50 at 9:45 pm here vs. $11 for a LATER 10:30 pm at the Hendersonville Regal Theater), and candy isn't as expensive either. As far as clean, movie theaters aren't exactly prize winners in this department, but this one is clean compared to the rest. What makes this place nice, on top of the other things, is that it is very family friendly and typically has less staring at phones and talking to each other (my attempt at not sounding like an old man...) and more watching of the movie. Love this theater and will be frequenting more often because it is more affordable and reasonable than many others and you don't have to deal with people staring at their phones and talking all night. read more

This is the best Movie Theater I have been to in Sumner or Davidson County. The ticket prices are cheap, the concessions are good and modestly priced as well, the theater is clean, and the technology is up to par (both sound and digital) with their more expensive competitors. You can see the same movie with the same amenities at Ncg for almost half of the price you will pay at the Regal at Indian Lakes or the Opry Mills theater. It's even cheaper on Tuesday. One last plus--the ice, drinks, and butter are at your own convenience. Free refills, control the level of ice you get, and forgo the butter or use as little as you wish. read more

When we got into the movie theater the line for the snacks moved pretty fast. But the unfortunate thing was when we went up to are sets, the heat must have been turned on or AC wasn't working im not sure, but it was HOT and it smelled like dirty feet. read more

This used to be a great small town theater. Now it's more like a sauna that you can watch movies in. They must be hurting for business because I've had to walk out the past 5x I've gone to see a movie here and ask an employee to get some A/C going in the theater. It's always humid with no air flow once you walk into the auditoriums. They need to get it together. Also, it's 2018, convert your theater to reclining seats like your competitor in Hendersonville did. Memo to management: making your customers uncomfortable isn't exactly a smart business decision..... What's even more hilarious is that they advertise an A/C company in the previews. NCG needs to "Call Toby" fast. read more

NCG is still the best theater in the area with the best prices, shortest wait times, and with unlimited free refills on all sizes of drinks and popcorn they have the best concessions. However, in recent months the commercials have become way too excessive! For Star Wars The Last Jedi commercials ran for 19 minutes!!! And there were just two previews. NCG used to make their movie start times the true start time of the movie. If you showed up before hand you saw a few commercials, there'd be a handful of previews and then the movie on time. Not any more. Now they're like every other theater. If your movie is 2:30 you sit through nearly 20 minutes of commercials watch a couple of previews and your movie starts around 2:40 or 2:45. NCG shouldn't be like every other theater. Go back to true start times. read more

Movies are a big deal for me and my family. And we always drive the extra few minutes from Hendersonville to the NCG in Gallatin. The environment is nice, the prices are typically more than a dollar LESS per person, and the opportunity to butter your own popcorn is a ridiculously indulgent perk. (I also recommend the white cheddar season salt.) Check out their matinees, too. Less than one star. The full theaters are never attended by enough staff. They do not monitor the handicapped seats. Last week, there were teens in handicapped seats. Today, it was children with their parents. My husband is handicapped and I even asked the staff to do something and they just shrugged their shoulders. I will not be back. I live about 3 times the further from this theater that a really nice one in Hendersonville, Tn. But I'll drive the extra miles every time. This place is uber clean, the screens are big, you buy your ticket from the same person you buy your popcorn and drinks. The prices are cheap enough to pay the difference in gas. The staff is friendly and their popcorn can be drenched in as much butter you dare to put on. Plus several of flavored salts make the popcorn the very best. Finally, they have several of those new soda dispensers that allows you to mix and match from a full color screen. Be careful and stay away from the Michelle Obama butter police and enjoy the show. read more

Our family of five went to NCG last night to see Disney's Moana. We were delighted to see that there are discounts on the concessions on Tuesday! Getting our own customized beverages and popcorn toppings is fun! There are many drink stations and I've never had to wait long if at all. We go to the movies frequently because at NCG, its more affordable AND clean! Lots of parking and fresh faced, friendly employees. We were surprised to find NEW seats that were comfortable and spacious! The arm rests adjust to allow for couch like comfort. Wide isles and reasonable lighting. We were told these seats are currently in two auditoriums but the rest will follow. After all that soda a trip to the restroom was necessary. From my many past visits I knew to take napkins to dry my hands because the hand dryer (with no paper option) was pitiful! To my utter delight the old has been replaced by two NEW, quieter and efficient, sparkly dryers! Now Gallatin NCG is the perfect movie theater. read more
