My husband and I are regulars at this theater, and it has become our favorite. We've seen movies on opening night. Even then, we have yet to run into huge crowds, which is always a plus. This theater receives the latest movies and has a reward club. NCG is located off Nashville Pike behind a small shopping center. However, it's easy to find and has plenty of parking. The lobby is clean and spacious. The employees are friendly. The theater is also clean with seats that are big, plush, and comfy. My husband and I have seen at many different times at this theater (weekday/ weekend daytime and weekday/ weekend evening), and we have had nothing but good experiences.

Of the Regal options we've visited, this is definitely the one to beat. It's a solid location (worth the 15-20 minute drive outside of Nashville), it has decently comfortable reclining seats, and everything was pretty clean, especially considering we had tickets to a 10 PM movie on a Friday night. We didn't partake in the concessions this time around -  but it seemed like the team was moving through orders pretty quickly as we walked past. We chose a later movie time so we could be in one of the larger theaters near the front, and I'm glad we did. They do have IMAX and 3D at this location for select movies as well, which I'd love to check out on a future visit. Going to the movies overall is a lot more expensive than it used to be, and if you go more than twice a month, I believe the Regal pass is a great deal. We'll typically re-up on ours whenever there are a few new movies coming out that we don't want to wait to stream at home, although it is at least a three-month commitment whenever you do sign up.

My husband and I came to see Wicked for Good and had a bit of a frustrating start. We tried to purchase our tickets at the kiosks, but the machine wouldn't take our card. After struggling with it for a while, my husband mentioned it to the young lady taking tickets, and only then did she tell us the kiosk was broken. I was irritated because she had clearly seen us trying to figure it out, yet didn't say anything until we asked. She did apologize, though it didn't feel very genuine. On the bright side, the gentleman at the concession stand apologized on her behalf, which I appreciated even though it wasn't his responsibility. When we picked out our seats, when we go to get seated, one of the seats was broken, which I wish was noted bc had this theater been full, that could have been a problem. Then there was trash in the cup holders. This did not help my irritation. I do think it's time to upgrade the seats to the modern recliners, put signs on things that don't work, and make sure the theaters are cleaned for the next movie times. Love the location of this theater but times like this makes it hard to make a case to go more often.

Gah, it would make me despise going to the movies if I had to deal with all those people every time. Ultimately, this is 5 stars. Plenty of screens. An IMAX screen. Great snacks. I live in Louisville so why did I end up here? A few words: The Odyssey. 70mm IMAX. I do love film. The Odyssey is the first film in history to be filmed completely in 70mm. After this experience, I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch this movie in any other format... ever. It was incredible. I had checked our other close 70mm location(Indy) but at the time it was sold out for weeks. I learned that Nashville got a 70mm version in, flew in the equipment, and hired projectionists to run it... was able to find August 1 tickets and took the leap. I was in awe the entire movie. 70mm truly is the only way to see this movie. The close 2nd would be to see it in a Dolby theater(closest there for us in Louisville is Cincinnati). One other note on the theater. It's a Regal. I appreciate Regal's order snacks in advance/pickup system. Other theater chains try to do it but I think Regal is the best of breed here. They've figured it out. I'm also a big fan that you can order caramel popcorn here. Drools. I was debating Dune 3 tickets since only 71 minutes of that film is shot in 70mm. When I saw the trailer before The Odyssey... OMG, I had to pick up Dune 3 tickets in 70mm. So I'll be visiting this theater again come December. I consider this theater a special event theater. If you live far away or close and there is something like 70mm or a huge movie, go to this theater to check it out.

I don't really recommend visiting on a weekend, as it is right next to the Opry, and will probably be impossible to find parking! Parking is tricky even on a weeknight, but hey, that's Nashville for you. Tuesday nights are the move, with discounted tickets on all movies. The concessions line moved quickly, and the theater itself was clean. My popcorn was perfectly buttered and salted, albeit a bit pricey. My big complaint with this Regal is that they don't have recliners! These are your standard movie theater seats, and while that's fine every once in a while, it definitely stops us from making this our regular theater, especially when you are paying full price for tickets. I believe all of the other Regal locations around Nashville have recliners, so I'm not sure why this theater hasn't been updated ... but I would love to see them get a refresh!

I was very skeptical about coming here based on the poor reviews and rat situation (both Google and…read moreYelp reviews have mentioned this infestation). I nearly refunded the movie tickets after reading the reviews but at $12/ticket at 7pm, I was willing to take the chance. True, there is no AC in the lobby and it can be very warm while waiting in line. However, there was AC in our movie theater (10) and we were comfortable with the temperature. We ordered two candies and two large icees and the total came out to $25 after taxes. We were also told that the icees get free refills, too! The regular soda fountains are for guests to use and are also refillable at their convenience. These were nice touches when most movie theaters have become unaffordable for a night out. Our two movie tickets totaled $28 after taxes and fees. In total, we spent $53 at Roxy. We booked the loveseat and it was super comfortable and the recliner went back pretty far, nearly at a lay down position. These were probably the most comfortable seats we've ever sat in for a movie. The visuals were good and the sound was clear as day...a bit too loud, especially because we saw Obsession and there was a lot of screaming in the movie. However, I'd prefer too loud over too quiet. We shared the theater with 3 other people so we didn't experience any interruptions. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with this theater and will definitely be back...as long as the rat problem has been fixed.

They had only beer available on opening weekend- and pretty lame choices at that. No craft beer- just generic domestic beer plus one flavor of white claw. I'm hoping they add in some taps and offer some good beer on draft eventually. No wine or liquor at the moment but it looks like they've prepared to have their liquor license based on the bar set up. They only had pizza by the slice. We did not eat here. I'm very much hoping they expand their food selection. The ice cream was Blue Bell. I thought with the name creamery they would be serving homemade ice cream. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer more information about what is to come. Would have loved to see a menu that they will offer in the future- or at least if the staff could have had that info. When I asked the bartender if they planned to offer more than just bottled beer in the future her response was, "I just got here at 4:00 and I don't know anything." I've given this place 3 stars because I think they will expand their offerings soon. We will come back after they've made a few improvements.
