Joe Buring of Curry Electric came out to the cemetery yesterday and, with exceptional attention to detail, he installed a new GFCI outlet, repaired other parts of our electrical system, and left with the fountain running like new. He was so personable and a perfectionist at his job. We were completely satisfied with his work. This is the third time I have used Curry Electric. Just last week we needed a few electrical tasks done in our home. The scheduling process was a breeze and Larry Smith arrived within a day of our call. He came out on a sweltering day. He had to turn off the electricity to the part of the basement where he was working and the poor guy was drenched in sweat, but was one of the nicest, most efficient people I have ever met. This company is either inept or they are rip-off artists…read more I've waited 3 summers before leaving this review to give them the benefit of the doubt. In July 2015, this company was hired by my warranty company to replace a fried component on my HVAC. The following year, May, 2016, I got my usual service company to perform the Spring maintenance and they told me according to their readings, the system was under-charged. I said that was impossible as this was just repaired and they suggested I call the company that performed the service. I called Comfort Solutions and they came out to test the system and they claimed that their reading indicated that not only was my coil bad but also that I should replace my TXV (thermal expansion valve) to the tune of THOUSANDS of dollars. They charged me for the diagnostic to boot. I called my company back and because they are actually capable and I trusted them and they wanted to be thorough and provide good customer service, they checked for leaks for free and reiterated that there was no way the numbers were indicating anything other than an undercharged system. Called Comfort Solutions back and told they stood by their completely incorrect and rip-off position. Why do I say this? My company was so confident in their diagnosis that they made me the following deal: they offered to charge the system and if it ended up not fixing the problem or it ended up being something else they would refund me everything. Guess what: in May 2016 they charged the system and my HVAC has run flawlessly for 3 whole summers. Comfort Solutions wanted to charge me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for a problem that didn't exist. Also, since replacing the parts they wanted to replace would require re-charging the system, there would have been no way to prove what the root cause was. Stay FAR FAR FAR away from this company. They charged me for the diagnostic and I paid the other company to charge the system. These guys are terrible. If the company doubts this story or claims anything of the like, I still have their diagnosis sheet where they recommend this action. If these items needed to be replaced how do they explain 3 years of running flawlessly in extreme heat when I keep my house at 68 in the summer. I do not want this company to contact me at all. I chalked up the $100 lost for the fake diagnosis and the money I had to pay to recharge the system properly as water under the bridge.

Last week on 7-24-2013 I was ripped off for 195.00 by Aaron-Andrews Septic Services out of Goshen, Ohio. They had pumped my septic last year and it was full again. The lid was completely under water, I found that strange since I pump every 3-5 yrs and I now had to have it pumped again a little over yr later .. They showed up and pumped for about 10 minutes and said they were full , took my money and left. 6 days later August 1 when I came home from out of town I find the lid is completely under water again so I called them again. The owner argued with me and said he pumped it and it filled back up with water and I had a problem and told me he would not pump it for free I would have to pay again! Mind you it had only been 6 days since I was pumped out so I told him if I had to pay again it would not be him! I called SOS LLC and they were awesome over the phone and showed up very fast and just as awesome in person!.. Aaron & Andrews didn't even replace the lid to my tank properly it was thrown on all crooked and jacked up out of place not even covering it the opening all the way. The owner of SOS said he would be able to tell if the tank was pumped all the way out and sure enough it wasn't! He pumped out of about a half hr or more a bunch of human waste and cleaned out over a foot of sludge from the bottom. He said there was no way one could have that much waste in 6 days if pumped out all the way. The owner of SOS made sure my lid was properly replaced removing dirt that had fallen when Aaron & Andrews took it up and even sucked excess water from my yard so it would dry our quicker.. Thank you SOS!!! !!! You rock and have my business from here on out! I highly recommend SOS if you ever need help with your septic! They are friendly and care about their customers!

However, we found out a few months later that they didn't put back 4 main screws in the frame. This caused extremely violent shaking during spin cycles. We were out of town for most of the warranty window so we didn't find out about this until it was too late. When we called them to say something seems to be broken after they came out, they said it was out of the window so it would be a normal service charge. We decided to use a different company since last time they didn't put our machine back together properly. The company that came out replaced the screws and fixed the shaking very quickly.

The issue was not resolved, but the technician left and told me everything was fixed without doing any meaningful checks to confirm it. After I called back because the appliance still wasn't working, they returned and told me they could continue repairs for several hundred dollars more, but that I should probably just buy a new appliance instead. In the end, I paid about $200 just to be told to replace the appliance. After I initially left a negative review, someone from the company contacted me and offered a partial refund for the first visit. That refund never happened. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience.
