If your time is close to another pickup, he tries to juggle other appointments so you get taken care of too. The first time I called, he wasn't available and he went the extra mile by suggesting other companies who might be available, he's that kind of professional. On my first trip with Jack, I needed a drive to UCSF, I was a little nervous and Jack calmed me down with just the right amount of conversation, keeping it 'light and lovely'. It was an early appointment, traffic was heavy, and the ride was so smooth and relaxing, I nearly fell asleep! No herky-jerky stops and jack-rabbit starts. It was a very relaxing ride and yes, he is a Dodger fan, but don't let that count against him; if you want to talk baseball, he's your guy. Just got dropped off by Jack, the second time I have used him. I wanted to make sure he was really that good before posting. He is. Let me break it down; Punctuality; Perhaps the single most important attribute to being a cab driver, outside getting you where you are going alive. He is spot on. On each occasion he has been there before he said he would be, but just the right amount of time. He checks for any changes in your flight time. He responds quickly to texts. Really? Yeah. Cleanliness; Well, he exceeds the expectations of a company with a name like that. Think nearly showroom condition. Really? Uh-huh. Rates; I hate to say this. He should raise his rates. You will not get jacked by Jack. He is honest. Yup. Driving skills; The man is like a limo driver. He does not take unnecessary risks, crowd others, gun it to have to stand on the brakes. Very safe and conservative. Kudos! Overall; He is engaging, pleasant, jumps out to grab bags, changes the weather, everything you could possibly want. Adding another 5 star review here. I've used Jack twice for trips to the airport and both times he has been an excellent driver. I've been able to call him whenever I need and let him know when my departure and arrival is. He shows up early, is friendly and conversational and provides a comfortable fun ride. He will also add alerts for return flights to the airport and pick up as soon as your plane lands. I know this has been repeated multiple times in other reviews, but I can't recommend Jack enough. OK, so, here's the Christmas Desperation story ... we live in a place that's hard to find - sometimes the police can't find us and less stalwart taxi companies give up: "You're not on Google map" (yeah, we are, they're just not letting their neurons fire) and then they hang up. Finally, the bags. Jack shows up as arranged. Jack delivers us to our car, and ... hello ... doesn't leave until he's sure our car starts. My family and I needed a ride to SFO. Jack picked us up a few minutes early which was a blessing in disguise because security was a mess! Got there in enough time to get a yogurt and board our plane. Jack is the absolute best. He saved the day for us. We had never used Uber before and decided one time to give it a try. The Uber guy was late and then as we were tracking the Uber guy who picked up our ride he decided to drop the ride almost near our house. So there we were stranded. Jack is a life saver!!! Somehow my phone/alarm turned off this morning and I was deep asleep until I heard a knock on my door. It was Jack waking me up so I can make my flight to SFO! Since my phone was turned off he let me use his phone to call my airline and check my flight status. I was also able to make another call to my bf letting him know that I was on my way to the airport. I found out about Jack through Yelp last night and I am SO grateful I found him! My husband and I called upon his service to take us to SFO and pick-up on the return.
