Christina worked with me quickly and thoroughly, she listened to what I asked for and was more than willing to accommodate me. I wasn't able to give her the gender when I first ordered but she was understanding and respectful, which I truly appreciated. The cake got delivered on time and in perfect condition, my aunt actually received the cake at the door and she was trying to get the delivery guy to tell her the gender lol he laughed and he of course said no! It turned out adorable and honestly started our obsession with pull-apart cupcake cakes ever since. They're just so much easier for parties, especially with kids. Everyone can grab their own cupcake without the whole cake-cutting chaos, and I love that there are usually little mini cupcakes worked in as fillers for anyone who just wants a tiny sweet treat. Not only are the desserts cute, but everything we've ordered has always tasted fresh and delicious too, which matters just as much to me as how it looks. I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast.

The drinks were very good though, I'd say. My passion fruit tea had real passion fruit in it. The mango smoothie, also had real mango bits in it. Tip: order drinks then take a gander of the pastries, so while you're waiting for your drinks to be made, you can pick out your pastries. This was our first time here and won't be our last.
