Just walking through the door, I was already impressed by the cozy atmosphere, beautiful mix of modern and vintage decor, and the friendly hostess welcoming us with a smile. It was a little busy breakfast morning, and although our waiter was rushing around, the service was still kind and attentive. We ordered the Salmon Benny, and it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The mocha latte was also surprisingly rich and flavorful. We also tried the Lean Green Machine and Morning After juices, and both were amazing. The Lean Green Machine was more tangy and refreshing, while the Morning After had a slightly spicy ginger kick. I'd recommend enjoying the juices separately from coffee to fully appreciate the flavors. The lady who made our drinks was so sweet as well. Always a decent choice for breakfast or brunch. The service is usually quick and the staff is friendly. The food is also pretty good. The only downside with the steak and eggs is that the steak was just a large beef chuck rather than a good cut of steak. Seating isn't a problem either as the dining room is fairly large. read more

Ummmm wow!! Absolutely phenomenal food AND service!! Splurged and got the rainbow brioche this morning... perfect portion size. And it was DELICIOUS!! My son's burger was the juiciest I've ever seen. A new restaurant has replaced the Blue Water Grill on Main Street in Millsboro (across from Antique Alley). The cafe opened on 12/8/23 and serves breakfast and brunch all day as well as salads, sandwiches, and lunch fare. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday but open Wed.-Sun. from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is the second location for Nectar and was so needed in Millsboro. If you're looking to get your healthy on with leafy greens, bright colored fruit, and veggies you've found it. Only one comment - I had sweet potato hash, my husband the breakfast potatoes - they had obviously been cooked but were served almost cold - just not edible....need to tweak the prep/serve process. The ambiance is super cute, it feels like you are visiting someone's house. They used real dining room table and chairs and have sofas around the restaurant. Staff was very friendly. I was told this place has been opened since Dec 2023. The sweet potato has was really good and the toast was too. If you are not into butter ask them to go light with it. The steak I feel could have been a different cut. It was thick and fat but wasn't prepared really the way I wanted too, which was medium rare. The bar drinks is a no go for me. They use natural juices and adding whatever alcohol they had to it didn't really make it a rum punch. That was the second alcoholic drink the other one I sent back. They should stick to simple drinks or just the juice bar. I only saw three to four types on alcohols maybe that's why the drink didn't taste like a rum punch. My daughter really liked the omelette and it was a nice portion. My mother had the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup was oily and you could see it on top of the soup. I thought I took a picture but I didn't. Overall it was still a nice place, if I am visiting my parents again I would go back and try it again. I would just stick to water or soda. My daughter enjoyed her natural drink she got. Try the place it's cool and a change from regular spots. There is really not much around there. read more

Located in the stark Millsboro city center. There isn't much to take in when strolling through Millsboro. It lacks the charm charm of neighboring towns like Milton. Having said that Nectar is a refreshing place to have breakfast or lunch. The food is reasonably priced and there's free parking nearby. We enjoyed our Father's Day's breakfast. read more

Millsboro desperately needed more breakfast fare options, so I was glad when Nectar hit the downtown core. I went there for breakfast this week with colleagues and found the lovely well-lit and pretty establishment bustling with customers (for those familiar with the business which had previously occupied the same space the contrast will be quite remarkable in terms of ambiance). We all really enjoyed our meals -- I in particular had a cheese and tomato omelette, hash browns and toast, along with coffee and one of their signature juices, the Nectar Punch. Service was good and overall it was a great experience. One oddity, hence the lack of full five stars, is from the area of customer service. I spoke to both our server and the "manager" of the day to say that our party was from a local institution and that we were there to support small business and their collective response was akin to a shoulder shrug. It's strange because you would think they would like to hear such comments, considering not a half block down the street another new breakfast restaurant just opened its doors. read more

The food is amazing. The take out service however is a roll of the dice. For the love of god, train your staff to triple check take out orders. There is nothing more frustrating and disappointing than driving there and back in the rain to pick up an order only to discover once home that it's missing the one side item my wife was really looking forward to. The area is in desperate need of some healthier food options. That being said, I won't be back here. Last week, I went and had the veggie sandwich. It was eh, pretty bland. This week, I thought I'd give it another shot and try something else. Ordered the Sammy Benny. There was something wrong with the salmon. I could smell it before I put it in my mouth. It had a greyish tint to it and smelled too fishy. The taste made me feel like I might be sick later. I absolutely dread having to say something if the food I order doesn't taste right, but I couldn't eat this. I mentioned the salmon to Wade who went back and talked to someone who I assume was a manager. I ordered a cappuccino to go and the check. Another few minutes and the check was presented. The Sammy Benny was still on there, 50% off... I have worked in restaurants for many years. If a guest says the food you served them does not taste right and cannot eat it, a manager goes and checks on that guest, and, at the very least, removes it from the check! Customer service from management here is lacking, and the food is disappointing. I'll drive in the opposite direction next time to Egg in Rehoboth. I wanted to give two stars, but Wade provided good customer service despite his management, so I threw an extra one on. read more
