Heard about this through a colleague. I saw and took pictures of some nice pairs of shoes. These shoes and clothings are very random hit or miss kind of find. I looked through most of the clothes but unfortunately didn't find anything that aligned with my preferences. It's great to score a deal with almost new "used" item at a "lower" price. However if you're a seller - selling your expensive clothes you don't get much back. I paid $80 plus for a Patagonia dress directly from Patagonia website but that dress is only worth $9 selling to Crossroad -ouchie. I'll learn not to buy expensive things?-LOL. No greetings from staff at the front. They just mostly talked among each other. Fitting room staff was very sweet and polite. Shoes and clothes are organized by sections. read more

I went into Crossroads Trading expecting curated, reasonably priced resale/thrift... and instead found overpriced, low-quality leftovers. It's another uptown cheapskate type shop. Big yikes. We're talking basic T-shirts you can buy brand new for $9.99 being marked at $18+, worn sports bras with visible deodorant stains, and imo some items that honestly should've never made it onto the rack. Yes, some pieces are lightly worn--but the pricing does NOT reflect that. A Coach crossbody priced at $49.95. You can literally find the same or better on apps like Poshmark for less, or just buy it new with a coupon/promo code or at an outlet. It feels less like a thrift/consignment store and more like a place banking on people not knowing better. Whoever runs pricing here clearly understands how to maximize profit--but not value. Also sad seeing people get turned away with bags and bags of clothing. Seems like a humiliation ritual. Save your time and money. read more

I came here on a recommendation from a friend to consign some of my clothes. I generally sell my own clothes online, but I'm moving and thought that trying the consignment method would be easier than posting to sell it all online. I brought items from Lulus that I bought from Nordstrom that still had tags. I also had some lightly worn (maybe once or twice) from Lululemon that just did not fit me. I brought a few other items from banana republic and Tahari along with a bunch of other random brands. While I was walking around the store, I could see one of the girls at the counter showing one of the other girls some of the items and making faces. I did not appreciate their demeanor. I walked back towards the counter and just figured I would just wait until they were done. When the girl at the counter was finished going through the bags, she said she was going to pass on all of the items. She then told me that the all the Lululemon stuff was too worn. One of the sets was practically new so I felt she was just trying to make it sound like everything I had was just below their standards. She also said that they are going to "hold off" for better brands. There were definitely items in the store with the same brands or in the same tier that were already in the store. I just felt like those front desk workers were on some weird power trip. Even if they didn't personally like the brands that I had, they could have definitely been more professional. I could see them across the store making faces while evaluating the items. I wish that I had read reviews before coming here. I will not be returning. read more

Came here to sell some items and walked away with $106 in store credit for 9 items. Pretty good deal! What I loved about this experience at Crossroads was the excellent customer service. Honestly, I was a little worried when I saw the Yelp reviews but the person evaluating my items was really informative and nice! She thoroughly explained why she did/didn't take certain items. The main reasons are: seasonality (don't try to sell winter stuff in summer i guess!), fast fashion brands (think SHEIN or even Target), condition (they don't do any post-processing so even small tears and stains will not do). I even ended up using some of my store credit for a couple new shirts for the summer. Overall, 5 star experience, would come back! read more

They only paid $7.25 for a Vince sweater I'd only washed and tried on and have never worn for longer than a minute. I'm pretty darn sure they ripped me off on that one. I took the rest of the awesome stuff that they didn't take, including a brand new synthetic down jacket they told me to bring back in a few months for the winter season, that I bought straight from Nordstrom online, straight to Orange County Rescue Mission because I'd rather have my clothes benefit good people in need than scammers that don't deliver in service or value. Update: So the business rep is now telling me that they're going to price a Vince sweater for sale in their shop for $24.17? Vince is among the better to best brands available in the shop and they are likely going to charge more like $70 for this sweater based on other Vince products I've seen. read more

Good selection of things. Not too impressed with the customer service here. I came in to sell clothes, Some from Zara, Levi's , Guess. The ladies working here were pretty standoffish. Maybe I came on a bad day all of them except one with rose/ pinkish hair was actually nice. Left a bad impression. Most of my clothes were in great condition and only took in one jacket. Terrible customer service as someone that used to work retail this place was definitely not trained with customer service right signed in on. The tablet sat down was waiting for a little bit and all I could see is just like nearly all the employees crowding around where they do clothing, appraisals, and buying clothing pieces. All the girls were just talking about the new trade album and just social gossip Grande or social circles just taking their time very slowly so that they could just be around. The coworkers is just talking gossiping. I've really efficient thoroughly looking through clothing to buy. I honestly suggest to whoever the management team is talk to your staff and trade winner because the reflection of people that work on/at your store is a reflection of you guys and on the holiday weekend like that Memorial Day there shouldn't people be crowding around at the cash app talking about the new Drake album and the drama has happened in their life. Sales associates are their work I get working with your friends, but it's the company time and money just wasting it not being efficient and trying to talk to the favorite coworker that you get to work with is definitely a waste of work hours. read more

I recently came in to return a dress that I purchased that I hadn't tried on, and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles and "hellos" from no less than four lovely employees. I would give it a 4 star if the prices of the items they're selling were considered more thrifty. Had a great experience trading in older clothing & good accurate ETAs were given. Noting the store will take women's clothing that are a bit more contemporary (20-30s) but not too formal. They also generally prefer brands you'd see at department stores like Nordstrom it seems as well. Similar concept for guys except for a bit younger crowd. You'll get about a 30% Cash or 50% Trade in Value towards in store items. I still felt like we subjectively got less than what I expected, especially for brands like reformation, but overall an okay experience. I'd try other stores before going to this one. read more

I bring heavy clothes they're not really to help and they're just make fun about the clothes I bring in. And being racist about me and my mom. And after 20' out of 40 pieces they're take 2 out of 40 pieces and said my clothes not formal for people?! I am normal human wearing clothes selling at mall and that is not formal ?! And I've had some of the worst selling experiences at other places (not Crossroads lol), so it's been a while since I've sold anything because I was honestly kind of embarrassed from past experiences. But Amber was amazinggg -- so sweet and friendly right off the bat. I didn't know I had to sign in, and she noticed people were cutting me (newbie probs), so she helped me out and signed me in manually. Everyone else was super sweet too! I feel like it's not that common for strangers to smile at each other anymore, but I didn't see a single person working without a friendly face. It made me feel so welcomed. This place is such bullshit They have literally junk on the racks, like shitty quality t shirts with stains or shein quality shoes and tank tops. But they'll reject you when you come in with high quality items (I had an in style skims top that i have literally worn once that they rejected). The workers are bird brained with no style, they will rifle through your bags at mach 10 speed and then tell you to your face that there is nothing they can sell. Don't go to this place, you might as well just sell ur shit on depop or give it to goodwill. Waste of time, hire people that actually have a sense of style and know the current trends, because I don't think a bright neon pink shirt with shitty ruffles on the side is something in style (i saw this on the racks...how are you going to accept that but not literal skims). If you ask for assistance while shopping you should prepare yourself for the ignorant, eye rolling, condescending attitude you get from these kids. My husband and I are familiar with the crossroads trading shops in the Bay Area and so when we visited SoCal, I figured we would check out this location. We were both amazed by the guys/men section. There's a variety of different styles to choose from. It's a bit overwhelming coming into the store but the staff were very welcoming. After sifting through some racks, we both ended up with a few goodies. The prices are decently priced as they do sift through to inspect for the brands and condition of each item. Do not expect thrift stores prices. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area. You might find some hidden gems! read more

The wait is long each time I get in line to sell belongings I'm willing to part with. I use the time to browse through the shop. It is clean. It is well organized. The items are very cute & cool & priced low. Each time my turn comes I am only able to sell them one to three items in my big heavy pile. The amount of money I take home can barely buy me a Starbucks drink for the drowsy wait. They are extremely picky. The workers aren't terribly sweet. When you are a first timer they have little patience. A few are kind but many aren't. I prefer to donate to places that allow me to drop off a carload since I have to make that second stop after an average of spending two hours at Crossroads Trading every time I have attempted to sell to them. It's too much time for too little an exchange. Sorry, after three visits, I give up. read more

This saved me time and I noticed at least 5 people who looked frustrated when they had to wait for their turn. Anyhow, great variety of clothing. I've shopped at this location a handful of times over the past few months and usually have a great experience (the team is friendly, helpful, and creates a really welcoming environment). However, I've noticed one employee, who I believe may be a manager (she often has colorful hair and unique nails), consistently acting in a way that doesn't reflect the rest of the staff. I've seen her speak to her coworkers in a rude and dismissive tone. The last time I visited, she rolled her eyes at another employee and responded sharply in front of customers, which felt really unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness. I've also noticed her using that same tone with other customers, which is disappointing. I normally don't write reviews (honestly, I don't even use Yelp) but after seeing this happen a few times now, I felt like I needed to speak up. We made the mistake of not asking for time estimate, other similar places we've been to before have always given an estimate and definitely forewarning of long wait so you can decide to stay or not. No customer service at all. Finally after over two hours, I see a new employee started her shift and she started giving incoming selling customers some service telling them times and offering options. That would've been nice to have gotten hours ago, then I wouldn't have wasted 2 1/2 hours of my day only to find out they're not taking like 95% of the items. $30 not worth hours lost. On top of that the items they sell are overpriced. You might as well shop new. We will not return and advise anyone to not waste your time. read more

I wanted to purchase some clothes for work. I also wanted to be mindful of not purchasing fast fashion and focusing on sustainability. I decided to give this location a try! They did have a great selection of blazers for me to choose. I ended up getting three blazers and a pair of slides for less than $100. I thought that was a steal! I generally have a great experience selling at this location. They usually buy 3-5 out of the 10 items I bring almost every single time so I have no complaints selling. However, I really have a gripe with how Crossroads, and not just exclusive to this location, tags their shoes. I've seen so many shoes get ruined because they tag their shoes right through the fabric of the shoe. I've talked to Crossroads managers before and they said their staff is trained to tag them in places that leave the shoe unmarked. If this is the case, why do I see so many shoes tagged like the image I've attached? I've seen tags that go straight through the leather of Doc Martens which will now leave an unfixable, permanent hole in the shoe. I ask that Crossroads workers please pay more attention to how they tag their shoes, and just all their items in general. Or maybe have a different solution for tagging shoes, like perhaps using a sticker. It pains me every time seeing a nice, designer piece now become flawed because of how they tag their items. read more

Really clean and organized inside... the clothes are all sorted by size and selection is fantastic too (though it definitely is more oriented towards younger people but there is some selection for older folks!) Prices may seem high for some (mostly around the $15-$20 range but there is a "half-off" section too) but we thought it was reasonable considering the quality and brands. For those interested in selling, they do seem to accept more of the trendy and recent styles. The waitlist is fairly long too but that might be because we came when it was packed. Overall nice! 3 stars for combined buying and selling experiences. First, I have shopped here for a few years and have bought some great finds. Nice store, prices are good IMO, friendly employees. Came for the 1st time & bought in items to sell, no waiting, nice young lady to help. I read on their socials and website the items they're taking in, which includes seasonal clothing, specific designer brand names, etc. I'm realistic enough to know that they wouldn't take in everything I brought in and also don't feel like I over-did it with the quantity of items. However, they did not take ANY of my items - which btw are in great condition. This includes name brands they advertise as taking, i.e. Zara, Lululemon, Athleta, Adidas, a pair of Vans (with a design). One romper & couple of other items that my 25 y/o self would def wear (no I'm not 25). I'm sure I'm not the only one who is shocked that some of our items are accepted, but not exactly clear on their acceptance policy. I don't get not accepting designer athletic wear. However I get seasonal, I get trendy, I get the demographic they sell to, yet it seems like they cater to teens or 20-somethings only. None of which I am but as someone with a career in sales & marketing and one who thrift shops, our age group shops at these stores too, not just younger individuals. IMO a lot of sales are being missed to a slightly more mature group by not taking some of our items, mine of which I consider "current". I'm not sure if I'll return in the Fall to sell seasonal items or any time of year for that matter, but will prob remain a buyer. read more

This buy/sell place is definitely not worth it. The don't really buy, the lines are super long, they're not clear on what they're looking to purchase. I think it's a waste of valuable time for having no items purchased. This is now my 3rd time coming and they've bought nothing. Would not recommend. I normally get caught shopping at the Irvine Spectrum, I've never been here before but decided to stop by,I was extremely surprised to see how organized and clean this place is!!! The variety of clothes is AMAZING! I am very picky about fitting rooms, most of the time I don't even bother because of filth or mess, but NOT HERE this place has it very organized, clean, and it smells sanitized! Three salesgirls were chatting together completely ignoring us for at least 2 minutes. Doesn't sound like a lot of time but it is when you're just standing there, not being greeted and they're talking about music and who knows what.
