I would've loved a dollar section so that I could feel like I was finding some diamonds in the ruff, but I know that all proceeds help their Christian programs. If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm truly disappointed by the lack of kindness and professionalism shown at this establishment. There is an employee named Helen whose attitude has made me uncomfortable on more than one occasion. Because of her tone and responses, I no longer feel comfortable asking questions when she is at the register. On one visit, I asked about a possible discount. I fully understand that discounts are not required, but her response was unnecessarily rude: "Do you see the price? Well that's the price it's going to be." I was genuinely shocked by how dismissive this was--especially in a Christian store, where I would expect more grace and respect. On another visit, months later, I unfortunately encountered her again. I asked how much an item would be after the 30% discount. Instead of a helpful or courteous response, she said, "Well if you take out your phone and go on the calculator, you can see that for yourself." This came across as hostile and unprofessional. I have always been polite and respectful to every employee, so I don't understand where this attitude is coming from. That said, I want to recognize Stacy, who has always been wonderful--kind, welcoming, and positive every time I visit. She is a true example of what the Sheepfold staff should represent. I don't know who the manager is, but if this is seen, I strongly encourage management to address how Helen speaks to customers. The place is a good size and is well organized. They do not sell junk and the items are in great condition. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had two baskets of items and they took the time with us to see more items at their counter. We encountered a couple of regulars and they said that loved coming here. Been here a few times and the last time I was there I asked the guy at the. Register about a price on a table and chairs he said - " oh It may be on sale for you today" and when he saw it he went in and gave me a whole break down of how it's solid wood and retails for very expensive at the store and went on an on. The shelter in connection with this thrift store is a JOKE. I was accepted into their shelter program earlier this week, and it was honestly a HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF. Me and my son have been living in a hotel for a few weeks because we found out my son's father fraudulently opened up a life insurance policy - pretending to be me - placing me as the insured - and setting himself as the beneficiary. It has been absolutely DEVASTATING on me and my son. We had to immediately move out of the apartment we were living in because he knows where it is, and it was no longer safe - since the police are now involved and conducting an investigation. However, the woman Erin who did my intake and accepted me into the program- WAS NOT CLEAR ON THE RULES. They told me after we already moved in and got all settled that my son cannot participate in T-Ball or dance class. That is honestly ridiculous. My son needs healthy outlets to engage in after everything he has been through. There's no REASONABLE explanation why he cannot participate in those activities, especially when I was committed to everything else they required and asked of me. Furthermore, the house manager named Monica at the specific shelter they placed me in, was condescending and she started suggesting around the shelter to other staff members that I'm in contact with my abuser. That right there is so wrong in so many ways, because it suggests I'm not telling the truth, and that I'm not being believed. I DO NOT need to be around people who don't believe me or support me. Ive been thru literal hell these past 3 years with my sons father and I want NOTHING TO DO WITH HiM. Every day I'm working my butt off trying to earn money and complete school so I can provide for me and my son. Im even taking domestic violence advocate training online right now. Monica the house manager was CONDESCENDING and treated me like I was some "problem girl" when all I wanted was support, a closer relationship with Jesus, and a safe place to live. Monica kept saying over and over "I've been doing this for 9 years.... I've been doing this for 9 years" .....NO ONE CARES. If you have an UGLY HEART and a bad attitude towards struggling people, you have nothing and your little 9 years don't mean anything. I don't care if someone has been working In a shelter for 20 years.....it says in the Bible, if you don't have love, you have nothing. Monica has no power to influence people at the shelter because of her personality and nasty spirit. I know God is still with me and guiding me even though this awful shelter rejected me and my son.....all because I want him to have healthy outlets to fuel his energy and emotions into......Ridiculous!! Luckily, I never checked out of the hotel voucher me and my son were given....so we had somewhere to return to after being rejected and kicked out over nonsense. We still have until April 18th at the hotel, Praise Jesus!!! Thank you Lord. This shelter expected me to be all vulnerable and weak and in despair - and since I wasn't- they rejected me. I've been thru so dang much these past few Years IM BEYOND THAT STAGE. Im ANGRY at the injustice that has been served to me from my son's dad for so long... I'm empowered to put it to a stop and never deal with it again. I even tried calling the administration office once the 9 Year Monica told me my son can't play TBALL or dance....and they ignored my calls and forwarded me to voice-mail. The only positive experience i had at this shelter was with LUMI. She definitely has the holy spirit and Jesus living inside of her and it shows. She deserves a raise, and recognition. She prayed so sweetly over me last night and honestly it was amazing. Im so sad i wont get to continue growing in my faith with her by my side.I have the gift of discernment so I can see beyond what the average eye can see. This whole program needs a readjustment and a turnover of employees. Im so disappointed In how I was treated but it's all GOOD!!! I will continue to sing praise to my Savior and He is with me and my son......no matter who rejects us or disbelieves us. read more

Nicely laid out store. The clothing wasn't crammed into the racks like some thrift stores and the cashier was super nice. It's a botique store and the prices were fair. If you check in on Yelp you get a 20% discount and they had a 30% discount on the day we went in and honored the 20% discount so we got a 50% off discount on one item. Nice surprise. It is a Christian run organization, hence the Sheepfold name so don't be surprised if you hear Christian music playing. Nice store! read more

The Sheepfold is one of the first stops on Orange's thrift row; it's a cute store that supports a local church and it's a nice break from the larger thrift stores I typically encounter in LA. The store offers a pretty standard selection of items: apparel, some furniture, art, toys, shoes, books, videotapes, records, bric a brac, housewares and more Best section? Actually, there were a few pretty solid sections. At five for a dollar the videotape section was a bargain. There were also some excellent mugs and small housewares that I spotted and I would recommend zooming by that section. As far as the store itself, I couldn't figure out how I felt about it. Parts of the store were very well organized ( clothing) and other parts of the store ( everything except clothing) was a bit cluttered but in a " I know there's something amazing in here so I'm going to put up with digging through this" kinda way. The store is small enough that if you're looking for something you won't need to spend too long to discover if it's there or not. Everyone who works at the store is also super friendly! And prices. I found that everything in the store that was not clothing was very well priced ( and I also happened to stop by on a tag sale day). I found the clothing to be average, if not on a little bit of the higher side but I also found the higher cost to be worth the above average selection of items that were in the store The sheepfold is decent thrift store. I wasn't incredibly impressed but I also didn't leave disappointed ( or empty handed). If you're choosing between the Sheepfold and a store like Goodwill or Salvation Army, this place is much better but I wouldn't come in with sky high expectations. They had some furniture but not a lot. I randomly decided to ask about cuff links but they were out. They did have some childrens stuff. I visit this thrift store often and have found that most items in the store are really over priced in comparison to the other thrift stores. They do have some good designer bags from time to time and some other items that are on display as you first walk into the store, but those are all the very high priced items. They do have occasional good deals though on clothes. I think what bothered me the most about this store is the fact that I was in mid-shopping mode and the guy who works there just started turning the lights off at 5:30 when they close and just stood there with his jacket like I was keeping him from going home. So I just put the articles I had in my hand back on the rack and left. It was really rude in my opinion. It won't stop me from going back though. I never want to miss a bargain! read more

The best thrift store in all of Orange County. The selection is great, and the prices are just right. They are constantly putting out new items. If you go at the right time of the day, there is a shopping cart filled with FREE bread and baked goods. This is how a thrift shop should be run. They don't go looking things up on the internet to check it's value. They just give it a guesstimate and slap a price tag on it, which makes it a great place to find some gems! My only complaint is that they sometimes write the prices directly on to the items, and it ends up staining/damaging an otherwise "new" item. Oh yeah, and the young blond girl who works at the counter is very friendly and has one of the nicest booties I've ever seen. read more

Everything is not very organized and there seemed to be broken down shelves and it was not kept clean, there was trash all around the floors and items seemed out of place. Prices are how prices should be for a thrift store! Plus they always have sales on certain items especially clothes. The shop is a great size, so you don't need to dedicate a whole day to rummage through their racks and items. I love that the racks are not cluttered and it's fairly organized.
