After asking around for the best luthier in town, he was steered to Todd. Not only did he repair the guitar to its former glorious sound, it turns out that he probably sold the guitar to E back in the early 80s when he worked for a now defunct music store. Great prices, friendly staff, walls full of instruments and a floor full of vintage amps. Fun for the whole family.
