Cannot even hope anymore they are open when they say. Very, very limited hours. Lovely inventory. Quite frustrating.

Well, long story short I was overwhelmed. My co-worker told me about her friend's cute little shop that has the most unique gifts. I walked into the store thinking a long search full of driving all over town was ahead of me. I was immediately taken back by how unique and adorable every single item was. I eventually settled on a few natural smudging insense bundles and an adorable ceramic mushroom to live in the planter of my dear person's favorite fern. Olivia was so helpful. She gave me time to explore each and every little table and shelf, answered all my questions, and told the tale behind every trinket. She even helped me calm down realize that my search wasn't as impossible as I had made it out to be in my mind.

A little bit of paradise in Utah. I was looking for some things to do in the downtown Salt Lake…read moreCity area during our vacation when I spotted Hawaii Fluid Art at random. I thought this would be a great activity for my LTP and I to do, so I booked a reservation online. We live in Nevada, and their website mentioned that it would take a few days for the artwork to dry completely, hence the fluid art in their name. We were going home the day after the class and we would not be back in time to pick it up, and luckily for us, it was feasible for them to ship our canvas back to us. I think they said that we would get our finished paintings in about a week and a half. I booked for 5/29/26 at 5:00pm and chose to do a small canvas ($65/person plus other fees). Depending on what you're doing and how big your canvas is, it can get messy, so make sure to pack some clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. We packed some shirts that we didn't mind getting paint on, but to be fair, it really didn't get all that messy since our canvases were so small, so it's ok. One thing that I really liked is that we were the only people in the entire class, so this basically was a private session for us. We were asked to choose three or four pint colors of our choice, which was easy for me at least. The first thing we were instructed to do was pour white paint on our canvas and cover it completely by moving it around with our bare hands or by moving the canvas around using the pegs on the bottom. Once we emptied out the cup of white paint, we were shown a technique in which they call the 'blurp blurp' technique, where you pour your colors of choice into the empty cup one at a time for two seconds until they're all mixed in together. Before pouring our colors onto the canvas, we got to decide which design to use based on other designs that were made in the past. What I did on my canvas was pour my paint across the canvas and used the rest of my paint to make some lines from top to bottom and then move the canvas around to cover the white paint up, although some white splotches appeared later on, which is a normal thing to happen. The finishing touch was glitter, which we sprinkled around our canvas like salt. The glitter made our canvases even better. They came out really well and we can't wait to see them when they arrive at my front door or mailbox, depending on what shipping service they use to ship our canvases back. This class was short but sweet. We had a lot of fun here trying out something new.

Are you a creative type...someone that likes to make art? Whether you answer yes or no, Hawaii…read moreFluid Art is perfect for you. It doesn't take any artistic ability, but if you do have such a trait, you can put it to use here as well. What I'm saying is that anyone can enjoy this place-and you should! First, you select the size of canvass that you want to paint. Then, you select up to five paint colors. There are lots to choose from and you can walk around the gallery to see other art and get some inspiration. Depending on what style you like, you'll be guided by a friendly staff member on how to pour your paint onto the canvass and then tilt it in a way that will achieve your desired outcome. It's a fun process and a bit mesmerizing to watch. For an extra fee, they can add resin to the finished piece, which will make it shiny. It certainly makes the colors pop and I'd recommend it. My only complaint is the price. Sure, you're making a one of a kind work of art. But the price point is steep and will certainly eliminate some people from participating. But if you can swing it, I'd recommend you save your pennies and give it a go.

They truly have something for everyone, with a wonderful selection at reasonable prices. You'll find everything from local honey, cups, and clothing to jewelry, gemstones, and unique Utah-themed gifts. I especially loved the gemstone bracelets, which came with information explaining the meaning, purpose, and believed benefits of each stone. The copper bracelets were another favorite. On our most recent visit, an employee helped us find citrine jewelry for my niece because it is her birthstone. We were able to choose a beautiful necklace, earrings, and a ring for her. I also highly recommend picking up one of the mystery souvenir bags near the exit. Ours was filled with a fun assortment of items, and we loved everything inside. It added an extra element of surprise to our shopping experience! I've now visited this store twice, and each time the employees have been professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to help us find meaningful and unique gifts without making us feel rushed. Street parking was easy to find nearby, and it was free during our Sunday visit. On days when payment is required, you can conveniently scan the posted QR code to pay. I absolutely adore Everything Utah and highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for souvenirs or special gifts in Salt Lake City. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

Career artist and designer here: THIS IS THE PLACE!…read more Don't be fooled by its size, this little place is stacked floor-to-ceiling Harry-Potter-library-style with magical, best brand, every-flavor-bean art supplies. They aren't f*uckin' around. This store has got what you need if you're a serious or aspiring artist. I work in many mediums and have never walked out of this shop without what I needed and even more of the stuff I didn't yet know I needed. It seems like I always learn something new here, find a tool I haven't used before, or find the things I've been looking to purchase again for years but couldn't find them anywhere else. High pigment oil paints? Obvi. Those little tiny eraser pen refills? Got 'em. Powdered charcoal? Yes. Liquid charcoal? Absolutely. 10 different kinds of vellum? Canvas stretching supplies? Bougie ceramic glazes? Check. Check. Check. The prices? Art store prices. Michael's and Hobby Lobby will charge you just as much for half the quality and a small fraction of the selection. (Ew) The staff? They've always been friendly and helpful with me. This place has always been busy when I went in, from what I can tell the cashiers work quickly. The COVID precautions? Blick flexes their customer skills here, too. They pay someone to stand in the doorway and monitor the number of people in the store, and kindly let you in when the number is back down. During peak times like this, they limit people to 15 minutes of in-store-time so they don't leave people outside forever. AND the counter gets a wipe down between each customer. Anything you can think of, they've got you taken care of. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.-

It's super hard to get to because of the location and odd street layout. Parking is a nightmare if you have handicap tags. It's super expensive. (I guess it's typical of me to order during their website sales.) I bought 2 small sale items for my painting buddies but no actual art supplies. I wish I hadn't gone cuz now the lush, well stocked, aesthetically gorgeous art shop of my dreams is now just like a kid's popped balloon at his own birthday party.
