Geez, so I went in to the party store with ten minutes to spare, immediately got in line, crawled up to the front. Came in looking for a tutu and asked at the front register area where they might be. One worker told me an aisle they were in, so when I went down the aisle, I found many tutus for adults around $20. Since one wasn't marked, I went back to the front to ask an employee and she said they had more inexpensive tutus in the back of the store. They were more plain and were $15. This store has a ton of party supplies for different holidays. When I visited, they had several areas filled with St. Patrick's Day party trinkets. Friendliest Zurchers I have gone to by far! Made me feel so welcomed and all of the staff was very friendly. Took my own balloons to get filled up and they did it without any hesitation or faces. It is an entire store full of party stuff. If you're from out of state, see also Party City. In fact, some years ago when the Party City / Party America merge happened, they pulled out of Utah as Zurchers just uses the same supplier for their merchandise. So you get your Amscan goods in Utah from Zurchers but it's all the same stuff. Stores like this have a purpose, and depending on your threshold of tolerance for inexpensive imports balanced by your love of party themes. They have all the themes, colors of paper plates, plastic serverware and silverware, balloons, trinkets, decor, and costumes. I mean, is any of this stuff actually necessary? Like, when we all went through COVID at first and we kept hearing about essential businesses, did anyone say, "Oh, party supply stores for sure," or did it all kind of dawn on us then how unessential this stuff is? But then, on the other hand, that's exactly the point. It's a store full of stuff you don't need, and so coming here you are reminded that it's the fun stuff in life, the optional stuff, that makes life so colorful. Every color. For me, I'm leaning more towards minimalism these days so I don't buy a lot of this kind of stuff. But with Halloween on the way and a load of kiddos wanting something, I was able to get a few small items here that might be fun for them, and spend very little money to help them feel like Halloween wasn't completely cancelled this year. read more

Huge selection of cheap crap to fill the post-celebration dumpster. Really, it's sad that society has come to this but here we are. Plastic gold coins, name tags for wine glasses, sexy nurse costumes, silly string, silly putty, comically large hats and sunglasses, spinning bow ties, rubber poop, rubber vomit, rubber flies in plastic ice cubes. WhooHoo? Prices are low and strange. When's the last time you saw something for $1.87? Look. Just bump it to $1.99 and give your employees a generous raise from me. The people here were really nice but put off a work-release kinda vibe. Christmas season selection was oddly small, just one side of one aisle, while Halloween materials easily consumed 4x the space. read more

Just slightly disappointed as I spent quite a bit of money on helium balloons and in less than 6 hours in an indoor 68 degrees Fahrenheit large room, 17 of 18 balloons had deflated...makes for a great birthday celebration when they are slumped on the ground. Arrived at the Brickyard store at 8:20pm on Saturday, August 31st looking for balloons and other decorations for my daughters 22nd birthday tomorrow. Went to the checkout at 8:40pm wanting them to do a Mylar ballon and the lady at the checkout said they can't do any helium balloons after 8:30pm. I said "really"? She said yes. The store itself doesn't close until 9pm. They had no signs on any doors stating this policy and made no announcements over the PA system letting anyone know this. We bought our supplies but I am hugely disappointed and upset I was unable to buy the Mylar balloons I wanted filled with helium to decorate my daughters bedroom. Had I known about this I would had gone to the helium counter as soon as I walked into the store instead of walking around and shopping for my other decorations first. read more

The few times I've wound up at this store has been for special event stuff and I've mostly forgotten those visits, mostly because I hate coming here with a special disdain and loathing I would normally save for something moldering away under a wet leaf pile somewhere... So, I try to spend as very little time as possible, except at Halloween when it's then more kinda fun, but let's be real. This is a huge store dedicated to cheap party favor crap, mostly, if not entirely, imported and of the Chinese orientation. What the Hell, you're going to use it once and toss it probably and if it survives the life of the party, good enough. This is more of a specialized, glorified dollar store, but, real talk, the selection is good and if you can't find what you want (a very real possibility), there are lots of "settle" options. It's not like you're shopping for tools for brain surgery, after all, so "good enough" is just fine and that's what you get here. read more

After a long, tiring day, I was so happy to be treated so well at this store on Saturday. I was worried about the balloons popping In a hot car. They said I could stay in my car and keep it cool and they'd bring the balloons out as soon as they were done. So pleasant and such a welcome gesture. read more

Worst customer service ever. It use to be so much better years ago. I can't even walk in there anymore because I don't have hours to wait to purchase my stuff. If you want balloons don't expect to get them when you order them. Not even if you preorder. I go to Harmon's now for everything. Very unprofessional and rude. Zurchers is obviously the place to go for party supplies but I do not recommend this location. The last two times I have gone to purchase items has been a terrible experience. They tried to over charge me $300 and when I tried to say something they argued with me. 2 additional people had to come and make sure I was right. Then the next time I went there were 6 people behind the counter blowing up balloons but no one willing to ring up the line of customers. One associate even made eye contact with me multiple times. It took until I turned to the person I was with and made a comment about how they won't ring us up for them to finally ring us up. Then was not friendly while they scanned my items. read more

This zurchers is the worst I've ever been too. They did not greet me when I walked in, nor did they ask if I needed help on anything. Hardly any of the balloons had prices on them. There was only two balloons left that I wanted and when they inflated them they popped one. They did not apologize and they joked around about it.
