We started off…read moreby trying their free class offer & I then decided to join the rest of the current session because I thought the class was excellent. The Babies Class is for 0-8 months old. There are also Family Classes for 0-5 years old. Kapila is an excellent teacher. The class was wonderful & I love giving my baby this exposure to music from an early age. They give you CDs of the music & there's also an app for your phone -- so that you can play the music at home to increase the amount of exposure your children get. During the first class, my baby was just in awe because she hadn't been in any music classes before. She looked at everyone, especially teacher Kapila. She gnawed on the various instruments we were given (afterwards, they get put into a special bin to be cleaned before the next use). The second class, my baby felt more comfortable and started crawling around during the class as well. The third class, the others no-showed so Kapila gave us a private class. I highly recommend Prelude Music Classes.

Both of the teachers we've had, Kapila and Melissa, have been excellent. They both create a warm, playful, and flexible environment to allow children and their caregivers (parents, grandparents, nannies, uncles, etc.) to enjoy, learn, and participate in music. Babies and children are encouraged to be themselves, whatever age or stage they're at. Any toys or musical instruments that are mouthed or otherwise exposed to saliva can be placed in a special bin to be cleaned before they're reused. During each class series, you get a CD of over 20 songs, an illustrated songbook, and access to those same songs via a downloadable Music Together mobile app. Highly recommend Prelude Music Classes for all babies and young kids.

The infant room teachers were actually "playing " and interacting with the babies and the sweet noises of babies giggling made our day. For our 4 year old we were shown the preK room. Some language activity was going on and we could tell the children were involved and actually learning while having fun. The teachers at Goddard are amazing! The curriculum as we were told, looks great and covers all aspects of STEM. Important to mention that there was exotic smell of food being freshly prepared as they serve healthy meals. We are so happy to be a part of Goddard very soon. We are more than happy and satisfied after the tour.

We're incredibly grateful we toured, as Ms. Petra and Ms. Pamela were very welcoming and informative in letting us know what their programs offer as well as what to expect with this being the first time our son would be without us. They were very transparent about rates/policies and gave us a bunch of info to take home and review. They offer a free trial day where you can bring your child for a few hours to see if it's the right fit before officially enrolling them. We decided it would be a good place to try and the schedule we chose was within our budget. It took a few weeks for him to acclimate, but now he's excited to go to school and actively participates in group activities. We can absolutely tell that he enjoys his class & teachers, as he's been coming out of his shell. Everyone is very friendly and the facility in general is very clean and organized. The teachers keep you updated on your child throughout the day (what they ate/diaper checks/activities) via an app and you also have camera access to your child's classroom in case you want to check in. Each class is separated by age groups and the student to teacher(s) ratio is very reasonable. My son's classroom has circle time, several developmental areas (music/pretend play/building blocks/math/art/language & literacy/independent play), access to an outdoor play area/splash & water play area/gardening area, and healthy meals made fresh every day. The directors and front desk ladies are very friendly & communicative. They're great at keeping parents updated on upcoming classes your child can participate in (like dance/yoga), anything to be aware of at the school (policy reminders, class registration deadlines, illness prevention protocol reminders, etc.), reminders of upcoming fun activities to be prepared for like Splash Day/Picnic Lunch Day/holiday activities, etc. Overall our experience with La Petite in Sugar Land has been wonderful. The activities are age appropriate and geared towards development; and fun for the kids! The facility is clean and well kept-I have never smelled anything other than food (which my son loves) or cleaning products. There are opportunities for extracurricular activities and programming for parents (which I intended to take advantage of but my schedule just didn't allow). Parental well being is encouraged by parent's night out where the staff graciously extend their day and allow us to be able to have kid free time to use as we please. Each day we are greeted by staff, and I have not had one negative encounter. Everyone is always positive and kind to myself and my son. I have seen him progress and grow in our short time here, and for that I am thankful. Security and safety are a priority, with codes and diligent staff who monitor incoming and outgoing persons. I love that I am able to check in on my son via the camera system, and also receive updates regularly during the day via the app from teachers. I can truly say that this is one of the best day care experiences I have had. Being a first time parent comes with a lot of uncertainty and all of the staff at this location have made me feel secure and go about my work days with ease knowing that my toddler is in good hands.
