(They will not back up their work, do not recommend) We are Seniors, this break was discovered on a Friday, had been leaking for a very long time, I expressed my dislike of their failing, repeatedly and my having to pay for rework each time. How I am not some Country Bumpkin you can continue and do this to! My wife and me tried to stop in the Greencastle Office following Monday as to why we were left hanging? (Customers for several decades with full well & water treatment from Negley's) They refused to come to the inner locked door, wonder why they installed this I thought? Negley's hired a lawyer and put a Restraining Order against us! Tell me what will an elderly couple do that they enforced such an action against us, complain, plea for help, what? Over priced. Competitors are selling the same brand equipment for a fraction of the cost. They use shady sales tactics also. If they send a "consultant" aka Salesman, on a call with a technician; just be ready to hear a line of nonsense. They will insist that the system isn't working, its starting to fail, they cant get parts, etc. In reality they do this so they can sell you a piece of their equipment, even if you equipment is working. If you have a softener that is over 5 years old, or is not the brand they carry, do not call them for service. They will do anything they can to try and replace it. read more

I had a great experience with Mark. He came out to my townhouse to give us an estimate on getting a water softener. He was professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with great options at competitive prices. I got 3 estimates from 3 different companies and all the prices were within a few hundred dollars of each other. I did not purchase a softener from this company for no other reason than the company I chose came up with a creative way to place the unit so it did not take up my entire utility closet. Our water pump died late yesterday afternoon. In total panic mode. We called Negley's and my husband was immediately able to speak with very nice Trinity, who immediately had him speaking with someone to analyze our situation. Based on what we were telling them, they scheduled us first thing in the morning. (We were able to wait until the morning for them to come out because we keep 30 "emergency" water jugs in the basement that would keep us functioning.) Garrett and Mike were our very nice technicians. Professional and knowledgeable. They were efficient and answered all our questions. Reasonable pricing. I had heard great things about Negley's and they are all true! Last week we had a new water softener installed. The representative was very knowledgeable and set us up for our needs. Yesterday our water heater rusted through the bottom leaking on the floor. I called mid-afternoon and the men replaced it by 5:30. Above and beyond! Our water softener and pressure tank stopped working over a year ago and called them to check it out. Our system was extremely old and out dated and was nervous it would be unaffordable at the time but they really worked with us to make sure we got the perfect set up for our family! They made sure it was even a little bigger in case our family grew bigger or if we added on to the house any. They came recently to check on it and make sure everything was still working great. If your looking for cleaner, softer feeling water from someone you can trust and can depend on, I recommend Negley's. I have been working with them for close to 10 years. They have repaired systems I already had installed by another company. The salesman, Rusty explained my options and allowed me to choose which plan worked best for me and my business at that time. I needed a fluorescent light bulb before Negleys had their additional Martinsburg location, and one of the reps literally delivered it front door for me, saving me a trip to Greencastle. This is only one example of the excellent customer service Negley's offers. Last week I had a softener system installed. I live where the water is high in iron (yellow staining) and high in sulfur (smelly rotten egg odor). May I share how happy I am? I noticed the improvement nearly right away. No yellow staining, my well water has no odor, and it feels soft, leaving my hair, skin and clothes soft as well. Plus Negleys offers financing!
