First time going to this barbershop…read more Staff: The was great, professional and greatest you as soon as you walked in. I called before arriving to me sure they could accept a walk-in. The gentleman on the phone didn't hesitate and said yes come on by. I got there a later in the day maybe an hour before closing time at 8pm and the shop was busy. But I was able to add my name to the wait list and got a chair about minutes later. NOT BAD AT ALL!!! My barber didn't speak good English but another barber translated so it was all good with me. He was nice polite and did a great job on my beard and shaved head. The Shop: The shop is big with plenty of chairs and it's clean. The equipment used is well kept, they have TV's and music playing. Plenty of seating while waiting for your turn. Location: It's located in Gardena off of Rosecrans and Normandie in tue shopping center. Price: Prices are great I went in for a full head shave and a beard edge up and trim. Final cost was $47. That included a hot towel wrap, and a light message. I'll be back....

Once in side, I was immediately greeted. I asked if they had time for a walk in she said sure and someone would be with me soon. She wasn't lying I was seated about 5mins before Chuey called me to his chair. He got me all suited in my cap and asked me what I was interested in. I did know the verbiage but I had pictures and let him know I wanted all the brown color I had cut off.. Once he seen the pictures he told me he was going to use a "2" all around and see if I liked it then we could go from there. He was friendly and he explained what he was doing and let me see in the mirror after he did everything. I feel like he didn't have to do that BUT I really appreciated it. Sometimes it's intimidating going into barbershops as a woman and not know the verbiage and some barbers don't even care to help you figure it out they just cut you however and expect you to be okay with it. After a few mirror checks we agreed on a high taper in the back and a little on my sides. He executed it PERFECTLY. I was very pleased. The shop was super clean, all the barbers were friendly. They clients all looked happy with there cuts. The cut was also a great price. I definitely recommend and do plan on returning for another cut from Chuey.

I really just wanted to cut my hair and she asked what I was looking for and gave suggestions. And I'm not really knowledgeable about that stuff so I told her it was up to her.
