    I have ordered 5 animals from this business's online store thus far and have had excellent…read moreexperiences. Not everything was perfect every go around, but when I had issues, the employees and owner were very quick to answer emails, phone calls, and all my questions. I am extremely happy to have the option of shopping a quality store rather than have to hunt around for a variety of hobbyists and breeders. Here are the Pros and Cons of Snakes at Sunset- PROS: -relatively low prices for quality animals -reasonably priced and reliable shipping -safe and humane packaging -knowledgeable and helpful staff -large variety of animals and availability -all animals healthy, happy, and well cared for CONS: -purchasing sight unseen -their shipping department can be a little unpredictable. Twice I've had shipments sent on dates I did not request. Overall this seems like a large supplier that truly cares about their animals. I love my purchases and will continue to shop at this business. A+

    Update: they cancelled my order for having the audacity to point out their policy page and policy…read morepopup at checkout don't match. This place is run by little children that can't take critical advice. Their email today is back to below 40 they can't ship. They can't even keep their story straight in their responses for one day to the next. Is it 50 or 40? The world may never know. Then they lied when I called saying reptmart.com isn't them when the emails come from their domain support@snakesatsunset.com After their behavior I'd wager the spoofed website reptmarts.com is really them trying to scam people too. They need to fix their reptmart website's shipping info/policy page. On their shipping policy page it says they ship to a fedex hub if night time lows are below 40 while a popup during purchase says below 50 (or so they claim; I didn't realize I was supposed to be proofreading their website for typos or inconsistency during checkout... and the one they're going by is the one you can't double check later, go figure ‍) ... I'm not appreciative of them taking extra days to double check if sending it to a hub is ok when I already checked the disclosure agreeing to it 5 days ago. It might be 1 degree below their super secretive checkout only popup policy for the next 2 days here and the way they're dragging it out seems like it's going to be irrelevant and warm again by the time they ship it anyway, but I'm guessing they'll send it to the hub anyway even if the forecast changes by the time they decide to do something besides send me redundant emails for a week. They have you pay $60 for overnight shipping then play games dragging it out for much longer than needed over 1 degree on a mismatched policy you've already agreed to at checkout. Their tone is off putting too, like I'm dim for not catching the discrepancy at checkout. Maybe I am for shopping at a website that's full of typos and contradicting info, so I won't make the mistake again.

    I understand that this is a wholesale business so most people will not be able to use this review…read morebut I still think it is important to note the disposition the nastiness the vindictiveness of the manager of this establishment I placed an order for $1300 and when I receive the animals they were such poor quality that I could not sell them. So I return them for a partial credit because two of the animals were at the standard the manager had contacted me on three occasions all three occasion she was caddy she was missed directing answers and she was out right rude After I return five of the animals she contacted me and once again stated that the peer meeting on the tortoises was normal and that they were healthy I've been in return told her I could not resell those tortoises to customers knowing that they had distorted shells August -8-6-20 If you are looking to buy wholesale or buy this business PLEASE BEWARE !!!!! I was a customer with strictly reptiles for about a month placed two orders with them my second order we had an issue Which I thought was minor enough that a simple exchange could have solve the problem The inability of the manager to react reasonably to a return And her desire to punish me by canceling my account because I returned five poorly kept tortoises I ordered Seven red foot Tortoise is two of them showed up were perfectly fine but the five smaller ones had major pyramiding and shell distortion. I was told by Jeanette that this is normal and that they're healthy but anyone who raises or breeds Tortoise know that pyramiding is a sign of neglect do you humidity UVB or lack of calcium and poor diet. She argued with me that this was not a true statement Speaking of neglect her personal skills as a manager dealing with customers are so subpar that it left me with total shock and dismay and the way that I was talk to over the phone. I do appreciate them refunding the money I sent back for the tortoises but I did not appreciate them canceling my account because I return five tortoises that were in bad shape and bad health. I believe in customer service through my company Rainforest Exotics LLC and I would never send a customer an animal that was in poor health nor would I disrespect them by treating them in the matter and wish Jeanette treated me on today. The only reason I found out that my account was canceled was I had gone back to the website to order a pied ball python for a customer who requested it and I was sent an email back that they no longer see my account in the records. If the owners are able to view this please contact me via Facebook to further discuss the details of this horrendous customer service through your company 8 10-20 My account was unlocked I placed an order for $800 to fulfill a Tortoise order from two customers. I placed an order Sunday night the order went through they took the money from my account I was expecting the Tortoise to be shipped Monday arriving Tuesday. I assume the petty and rude manager Jeanette had come to her senses and realize that It was immature and petty to close an account of a customer who returned five juvenile Tortoise is because they were permitting and in poor health. But I see that her immaturity and her management skills are driven by her emotions and her pettiness. I received an email saying that my account password had been changed so I went back and I change my password again and it said that my account had been deleted. I was then sent an email refunding the almost $800 in charges for three adult wild caught tortoises. ( thank you for being mature for refunding my money) I then received a very funny yet childish email from Jeanette the manager which I will try to include with this. But it basically stated that I had someone contact Strictly reptiles begging them to re-open the account the account was reopened and when Jeanette found out the account had been reopened and an order had been placed she close the account and cancel the order. . No worries I've always wanted to import Tortoise is so I am pushing forward in that direction I will be importing and selling Tortoise is wholesale and retail in the near future Read the reviews and you will see my point.
