I strongly urge anyone considering Neighborhood Windows & Doors to choose a different provider. Windows and doors are a major investment, and many companies offer similar products. What truly differentiates them is customer support; specifically, how problems are handled when something goes wrong. In my experience with Neighborhood Windows & Doors, that support was severely lacking. From poor stucco work to broken window components (images attached), the project was plagued by issues. Some damage was addressed, such as the five windowsills and shower marble/tiles that they broke. Still, I incurred out-of-pocket costs, including $200 paid directly to the installer and $400 for replacement marble. They also broke new shower tiles while fixing the original damage (this remains broken to this day). The stucco problems were particularly concerning. After two unsuccessful attempts to repair the damage (image attached), the company ultimately paid my preferred contractor to intervene. Even though the new contractor tried their best, the stucco still looks slightly different from the rest of the house. I also incurred $600 in additional costs to repaint the exterior walls following two repair attempts ($300 per attempt). Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. The issues extend beyond visible defects and into areas that only become apparent during a remodel. After renovating my home this month, my new contractor found no insulation underneath the downstairs windows (images with sunlight coming in below). My new contractors stated that the quality of work does not align with what would reasonably be expected for an installation at this price point. To their credit, Neighborhood Windows & Doors offered to fix this, but after their prior failures to repair unacceptable stucco work, I was not willing to risk further repairs. Instead, I paid my new contractor to add insulation underneath and on the sides of the windows, as they advised. Based on my experience and the additional costs required to correct these issues, there are many other companies that offer far greater respect for your home and your money. If you have already hired them, I recommend inspecting your windows carefully, especially the hidden areas. read more

Update from my window install from this horrible company. At the beginning of the year I got my windows from the prev year of ordering them. (Install still not complete - BTW. They had to reorder a window and never came back. Install wasn't done correctly and not we have mold and water in the wall of my daughter room. The owner is the worst of them all. Liar and a scammer. I really wish I would have asked around and did our research of all the horrible reviews. Run far from them. Pictures for proof. Terrible communication --My installation for 4 impact windows and three doors started in September. Missing window at installation- took 2 months to reorder --Failed inspection multiple times (the first fail they bought the balancers.required- but just for one window- no one thought to take care of the windows the inspector did not get to). --Screens that should have been delivered in September arrived in April- they were ordered but kept getting lost in the warehouse. --Finally passed inspection in April. Button up work- team did not have all supplies. Had to come back. Arrived 2 hours late (after 6pm). Since we are remote and had to have someone set up for each visit, this was an expensive and infuriating experience. The windows are great but the lack of communication and inability to manage a warehouse are not worth it. I do not recommend this group. read more

I had this business install a house full of windows February 2023. They did not seal a window correctly and during rain storms caused major water and mold damage. There was major mold remediation and water damage repairs with lasted several months. We were unable to use that portion of the house while repairs were being made. Drywall, insulation, cabinets, carpet, etc were replaced due to water damage and mold. After all the repairs were completed, Neighborhood Windows and Doors have refused to honor their installation warranty to cover the repair need with their poor workmenship. Buyer Beware read more

BEWARE! This company does not communicate well. Had a consultant come out. Reached out via email on 9/17 to schedule to go and see the windows, no response. Went to the office on 9/20 where there appeared to be a miscommunication as one of the windows we went to see was not there. Sent an email on 9/20 asking to reschedule - again no response. Sent an email today on 9/30 and the salesman told me I was being impatient. I truly do not believe that waiting 10 days for an email to be returned is impatient. I am not sure had I NOT reached out after 10 days if we would have ever received a response. Very strange customer service in attempting to close a deal.And have been waiting 13 days just to see a sample window which we still have not seen. So if you are an "impatient" customer avoid this company. read more

do not use neighborhood windows and doors they install 2 storm windows in September 23 and o' still waiting for county inspectors to approve their job . today is 04 Dec 23 . and is 4 th time they come to inspect and they have to come back again. Besides this problem the workers came here and they left debris of woods and dirt in floor and left without letting me know they completed the job and inspect if I approved their work or not Also I noticed their attitudes because I'm woman alone same happened to another woman from same blg made lousy job and has to come back . however with the man owner everything was smooth and approved immediately. they are Spanish men * read more

Today was the third time they came out to install our windows. First time around October 2022 the windows we received and had installed were not what we ordered. They came shortly after Christmas and we had broken items and missing screens. They came today and they had a broken window frame again. No supervisor came to inspect installation or to discuss the broken windows. We have had stucco cut out this entire time. read more

PACE financing was was recommended when I said no not in my budget! I don't have the best credit so PACE was perfect. Said salesman(Look up PACE) NW&D's defaulted on their part of the contract with PACE (to finish date no later than 8/10/23) Therefore I lost that loan! From signing the contract for my windows 3/23/23 to finish 6/25/24 No responsibility has been taken by NW&D's. I've been working on replacing PACE financing since notified. Every time here; there were different worker, things done incorrectly, and/or wrong! WISH I NEVER WENT WITH THEM I've never experienced so much stress in my life and I'm a young widow, that alone should lend some idea about the stress I'm enduring. read more

In March of 2023, I ordered all the windows in my house and a French-door to be replaced and installed by Neighborhood Windows & Doors. In June the window installers came to install the windows, the the entire upstairs (7 windows) were the wrong windows. They were all privacy windows that I didn't order and you could not see outside. They had to stop the installation and order the correct windows. In August, the replacement windows arrived and were replaced; however, they had to come back because one of the windows was missing a screw and wouldn't pass inspection, one window was missing a screen, two other windows had broken rubber sealing, and they again ordered the wrong window for the bathroom. When it rains, condensation builds up on the inside of the windows and a howling noise and air is coming through the upstairs bedroom windows. I wrote an email in December; however, they answered that condensation is normal inside the house; however, I didn't have condensation inside prior to having the new windows installed. They completely ignored the howling noise of the air coming through the windows. I sent another email to today, March 3, 2024 to find out when they will take care of this issue. It's been a year since I ordered these $17,500 windows and I'm so disappointed. I guess it's come to the point where I'm going to have to report them and possibly speak with an attorney. I have never had such an awful experience and have never be forced to report a company but I guess there's always a first. BEWARE of their high pressure sales pitch. Horrible experience so far. Had 5 windows replaced (at a very high cost) and 3 out of 5 do not work properly. They have come out 3 times now to "fix" them but they are still not working. They take notes about what items need to be ordered in order to fix the issues but then a different installer will show up the next time without the correct parts. We have yet to hear back from Jake, our sales rep, even though we have tried to contact him numerous times. Very, very, upset. read more

Absolute worst experience in my life!!!! Save yourself time, money, frustration, anger, poor service... and go with another company. I understand everything has been moved back due to the pandemic, but the pandemic did not affect return phone calls, incorrect windows delivered after six months, improper door installation, and no apologies whatsoever. This is the worst experience I have ever had. We ordered windows and sills replacement in February, 2020 and windows were installed in May, 2020, pretty quickly as they promised. Salesperson was friendly, but that's it. Installers broke one of the windows and installed it with a cracked glass. Sills were never installed and once I pointed it out they told me they didn't have any direction about new sills, so they installed new windows on my old sills. They reimbursed me sills cost, but we were frustrated it was not replaced as we expected it. Installers put old windows on my lawn so my grass burned and there were multiple brown spots after they removed old windows, it is still recovering after 3 months. Stucco and drywall repair were never done, they didn't care at all, however it was included in a quote. Once they installed cracked window they told me it will be replaced pretty fast, in two weeks or so, but... I was calling them every two weeks and asking about my cracked window replacement. They kept promising it is on the way and will be replaced soon. After about a month I called them one more time and representative told me it should be fixed next week, after few minutes another representative called me back and asked me about my window dimensions! It made me thinking they didn't even order it! It is ridiculous. After 3 months from the installation I still didn't get it! I just remind you, they told me it will be fixed in 2 weeks. I started my window install with them February 2022, it is now August 2023 and I am still waiting for them to complete the job. Twice the wrong windows were delivered on the 3rd try, they delivered a broken window then I had to wait again for the replacement window. they don't return phone calls "they want all communication in writing" might I suggest, return phone then.. send out an email "per our conversation" each time I tried to talk to someone or sent an email their response was "we are not responsible for our contractors" what kind of business is this.. they hire the contractors, they should be responsible for them! this is definitely the worst company I have ever dealt with! Terrible experience. Installers were quick but messy and sloppy. They left empty containers of caulk around the yard and drilled into the sills of the windows and sliding glass door. The sliding glass door damage was significant. Front office staff would ignore my emails (for weeks) on multiple occasions and also promised to discount my final bill which they did not honor. read more

IF we could selected a ZERO rating we would check it twice. DO NOT use this company at all. Empty promises, over promised, under delivered, eleven weeks later and still no answers on where our material, windows and doors are. And, all they want to do is blame the manufacturer. Meanwhile, every week there is a different story: The truck is in Tampa and can not deliver because of the storm. The truck is on it's way and will be here today to install. The truck will be there tomorrow and we will install first thing in the morning. The truck is in Jacksonville and we are waiting to hear when it will arrive. The truck will be in Orlando and arrive to Brevard County today. This company and the owner Kyle are unprofessional and never take accountability. Always someone else's fault. After giving them a generous $20,000 deposit *(half of the total quote) we never heard from them again without having to chase them down multiple times a day.
