I went to this restaurant on yesterday with a committee from work. I had never heard of this restaurant and I've never been in this part of Trussville before. I was pleasantly surprised by the entertainment district where this restaurant is located. It was very nice and seemed to have adequate parking. We were in a private room in the back of this restaurant, which had its own bar area. It was super nice and I think that if someone is looking for a place to have a party, you should definitely check it out. They prepared food for us--buffet style, and it was all really good. i'm not in this area often, but I would come back out here again if invited for some reason.

A good friend and I ate here after work recently. I've been here several times and I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before now. The service is always pleasant and the food is yummy. Nothing to write home about but it's good. I like the ambiance and think it's perfect for a date night especially in the evenings. When it's warm, outside seating is a must!

Modern brew pub with glass, steel, and polished wood decor with stainless steel mash tanks visible thru glass wall, provides an inviting ambiance in which to enjoy a variety of well crafted lagers and ales for every taste. I chose the Country Lager, 6% ABV, beautiful moderate brown color with malt forward taste. I enjoyed my beer with the loaded fried Brussels sprouts with beer cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon snd geen onions. A large menu of pub style foods offers many choices. Service is excellent and dress is tasteful casusl. Ferus is part of the Trussville Entertainment District, a planned srea for entertainment and dining in downtown Trussville which includes a large covered outdoor dining area.

This place never fails! The beer is great (ok oktoberfest was really good!), service is great, food is amazing (the salads!!!!), and the vibe can't be beat!

Elevated bar food with a great atmosphere. The filthy dirty is the best drink on their current menu. I hope it's a permanent addition!

Ferus is a solid experience! The beer selection, the live music performances are highlights. This venue is top tier located in the Trussville Entertainment District. I come here often since it's so convenient. The service is always friendly on every visit. I really love Ferus so I highly recommend. There's ample parking but when it's busy , say a prayer for a park!

Currently visiting here for work and my friend brought me to this cute place!! There is plenty of outside seating with a huge screen (great for game days). We sat at the bar due to it being a bit chilly though. Our bartender was great (I can't remember her name) but she let us try a few beers and was very welcoming. It was also trivia night so unexpected FUN!! We didnt stay for the whole game but it was fun while we were there. To eat I had the classic Feral Burger with double smash Pattie's! It was flavorful and cooked to perfection, I got a side of Brussels to go with it as well. Hear me out if you're a fan of Brussels these are a must try! My friend got the wings and fries and she enjoyed her food as well. Thanks for a great Wednesday night!!

Be careful on weekend nights as it can get crowded very quickly. Even so, service is efficient. A great atmosphere and place for brews and fun, especially their event nights and free concerts. I have also had the chicken quesadilla, sweet potato tots, and desserts: Caribbean pork tenderloin: the potatoes were amazing, it was a winner above this beautiful salmon pictured here!

First time trying Ferus and it's an awesome brewery. The entire area where the Ferus is located is beautiful. It can make for a cute date night, or time with your friends and family. We decided to sit at the bar which was a nice size. The Ferus also has outdoor seating and another bar, which is a plus. We didn't try their food since we were pretty full when we got there, but the next time we visit, we definitely will. Their Fallen Down Triple Berry brew was delicious. It is somewhat sour, but refreshing and and heavy as some brews are. All is all, will be back soon to explore Ferus and the other stores/shops/restaurants in the area.

Shopping in Trussville and needed a snack so decided to head over to Ferus Artisan Ales. We got some appetizers to share and a couple of beers. We ate inside as it was a chilly day but outside with the big screen and plenty of space is something we're going to come back and try when the weather is warmer. Really good food and wonderful beer!! We will be back...with friends next time!!

We had a great lunch here with friends over the weekend. We didn't have any trouble getting a table at 1:00. Lots of parking in this area so that wasn't a problem either. I had their cranberry cocktail which was delicious. I really liked it. For lunch I got the campfire burger. It was really good but was missing the fried jalapenos. It was not spicy at all so that was a little disappointing but still a great burger. The fries served with it were really good too. Service was really good as well. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to anyone.

A special shoutout to the manager, Landon, who goes way above and beyond his duties to make sure everything runs smoothly and that guests feel appreciated. His leadership really shows in the quality of service throughout the restaurant. We always enjoy coming here to relax, hang out, and feel that true hometown atmosphere. It's a great place to bring family, enjoy a meal, or watch your favorite sports team. The restaurant is always clean, and the restrooms are well maintained, which adds to the overall great experience. The sports bar atmosphere is a very loud environment so it is not conducive to a lot of talking but still an enjoyable experience. My wife really likes the Zydeco Salad (sweet chili-glazed fried shrimp, mixed greens, cabbage, candied pecans, jalapeños, tortilla strips, red onions, bell peppers, jack cheese, pepper jelly vinaigrette). Pepper Jack Boudin (jack cheese, pepper jelly vinaigrette) is almost always a part of our order. If you have never had, I recommend you give them a try. The Voodoo Shrimp & Grits (bacon-wrapped jalapeño and cream cheese stuffed-shrimp tossed in sweet chili glaze, served with cheddar grits) are an interesting take on the traditional Louisiana dish. I had never had corn mixed in with my grits before but it was a nice addition. The dish is large enough to split, especially when you add the boudin and Beignet Bites for a full meal. The Seafood Poboy with a choice of boom boom shrimp, fried shrimp or fried catfish with tomato, lettuce, pickles, mayo, poboy bread is another great option.

As I walked in the bartender yells at me, "What part of banned for life don't you understand....?" Fortunately, the PTSD keeping me on perpetual edge kicked in immediately and I responded, "Hey you're wearing my t-shirt you... give it back. And, how can I be banned from a place I've never been before?" The bartender and I then got down to the long history of Marty's PM (formally in Five Points), the legal and jurisdictional control of lifetime bans, and general 'long time no see, how you been?' chit chat. The place is situated in a nearly empty strip mall, which gives it a slightly post-apocalyptic vibe. It was nevertheless pretty crowded. They seem to be serving the same healthcare professionals/biker crowd that used to populate the 5-points version back in the day. I didn't try the food, but it looked pretty good. The prior version had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches to be found. My only knock on the place would be the lack of draft beers. I toughed it out drinking Jack and Cokes. It's a little out of the way for me, but I suspect I'll be back sooner rather than later.

My friend enjoyed a salad with the brisket. It was a good portion size. She was pleased. I had the Brisket Rueben with fries. The brisket was tender and the bread held up nicely to the filling. The homemade onion straws were a little salt forward. I got the white bbq sauce on the side bc I prefer to control the amount of sauce. However there tasted to be another more bitter sauce in the sandwich (that was not in the description) as well. The fries were okay. I like a crispy fry.
