All discharged patients were kept in the waiting room waiting for their discharge paper work they didn't even take your IV out ! You had to wait until a RN called you. Do not go here

She treated me like a criminal wanted me to take off my glasses asked me what day it was, etc. etc. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs when something for mania she proceeded to look up my husband and knew the information I was telling I was correct. I don't know where she got her medical degree but on my book she really sucks. It's like the F do you question me when I'm trying to get medical attention for my mania after my husband tried to kill me treated me like a criminal within the first minute. Tylenol is the drug of choice and the seem to think that it is some type of wonder drug. My wife has been there at least 6 times all for the same issue and the resolution is the same each time, a Fouer ( catheter). At this point my wife is so sore it effects everything else in her life. We have specialists and there as bad as this hospital.

They may perhaps be El Paso's best kept secret! It's a good place to bring kids since you don't have to wait that long. I've already come here a couple of times due to having pain, etc. The staff is really kind and professional. They help you into a room within 5 to 10 minutes. It's even like this on weekends! That's pretty impressive if you ask me. I've gone to UMC and it typically takes at least one hour but usually longer to be seen. Forget about going on a weeknight at around 8 pm! You won't get out of there 'til the next morning! Here at Las Palmas, you'll be out within 2 or 3 hours! I sometimes forget they're an ER facility! It sort of reminds me more of an urgent care center due to it not being so crowded. The place is always super clean inside and outside of the rooms. This also includes the restrooms. It's definitely cleaner than other places I've seen. They also seem to have the latest technology here. They can also do ultrasounds, etc. in the comfort of your room! I'll have to take photos whenever I go back. I have zero complaints. Check them out, especially if you don't want to wait hours to be seen.
