I got the dreaded call at work one morning that my 4 year old fell at school and needed stitches. This was my first experience with blood and stitches and I wasn't sure where to take my daughter. My friend suggested NEC. Her teachers packed up books and markers and I even brought her lunch kit expecting a long wait. I was scared, my daughter was scared but the staff was incredible. We were in and out and home in an hour! My daughter wasn't easy to deal with, but they took care of her in a way that showed they were very experienced, professional and caring. My experience at Neighbors Emergency Center was phenomenal! I hope I don't ever have to rush my children to an emergency center again, but if I do I will be a returning customer! I waited several hours before I allowed my husband to take me to the Neighbors Emergency Center where I was diagnosed with a Hernia - it was critical but the doctor was able to push it back in and I was then told to follow-up. I did have my surgery about 1 1/2 weeks later and am doing great now. My visit at Neighbors was very positive. The doctor was friendly and explained clearly what he would do.. Everyone was very professional and helpful. The office was very clean and I appreciate the care I was given. I would highly recommend this Emergency Center to anyone who may need help. We took my 7 year old son to this emergency center after he had a bike accident and cut open his forehead. Thankfully he was wearing a helmet so the cut was not that big. We had absolutely no wait time and the staff was very polite and helpful. We were out in less than an hour. They also had a courtesy call on the next day to ask how my son was doing and if I had any questions. I really like that because it showed me that they really care. From the moment we walked in the staff greeted us and attended to us quickly. The doctor who attended to us came in and was great with my son who was terrified he put my son at ease which usually doesn't happen. I was so glad the the dr had a great bedside manner and knew how to calm my son down and make him feel at ease. The nurses and all the staff who attended to us we great and made us feel at ease. Neighbors Emergency Center by far has exceeded the expectations of an Emergency Room by going above and beyond, being patient and family centered. The staff was amazing and extremely friendly, they even had a drink and snack bar available to the patients...you don't see that every day! They were very knowledgeable and made it seem as they had been doing this their whole life. We got a phone call the following day just as a follow-up and to see if we needed anything, wow! awsome place!!! i will never go to another hospital er again. they were very caring and pleasant to deal with. i did not have to wait for hours on end....they took us in quickly, listened to the complaint, treated us and made sure we understund the care instructions before we left. i can not say enough good things about this facility and its staff.......your all awsome!!! would most definately recommend them for all your emergency care needs!! read more

This was my second trip to the emergency center. My first trip was very successful as was my second. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I finished my paper work I was immediately seen. Within an hour I was leaving already feeling better. The next day I received a follow-up call to check on how I was feeling. Our unplanned trip to Neighbors could not have gone any better. The staff greeted us as we came in at 3:00am. We were seen very quickly. As it turned out after seeing the Doctor, my husband had to be transported by ambulance to the local hospital. The staff arranged this and took very good care of him. I had been extremely ill over 12 hours when my husband took me to Neighbors with severe stomach pain/issues. The staff got me in immediately & started running tests, an IV, the doctor examined me & making me comfortable. I was treated & released. I was having severe abdominal pain and they got me in the back right away and quickly gave me medications to help control my pain. I've never received such fast care in an ER before. i visited this er about a week ago for a very painful sty that formed on my eyelid the staff and er doctor were great checked me out and explained to me what it was and how to treat it and cause of it. if another emergency emerges i will defintely visit this emergency center again..this patient is very pleased!!! read more
