The diagnostic fee was $49 (they accept credit card and Apple Pay with a 3% fee, or cash), and they apply that amount toward repairs if needed. I appreciated the communication throughout the process; I received a text about 30 minutes before the technician arrived with an ETA, and once he got there, he called me. Alan was courteous and professional. He pulled the dishwasher out to fully diagnose the issue and started a cycle to pinpoint exactly where the leak was coming from. Once he found the problem, he showed me with his flashlight...somehow the heating element had tilted and melted a hole through the dishwasher tub . Unfortunately, at that point, repair was no longer an option and I would need a new dishwasher. This company is true to their name. Smart and Fast…read more A little history on our issue. Our tenant had issue with their JennAir oven not heating up properly. We made the mistake of calling JennAir using the phone number on the oven's support sticker, and JennAir sent a 3rd rate technician from IMPACT APPLIANCE REPAIR (stay away from this company) who demanded payment up front, and still was not able to diagnose the issue. They concluded parts were needed (oven hinges), and took more than 2 months to ordered the parts and was never responsive to our calls. When the hinges were installed (again payment was charged upfront even before any work was done) they left without testing the oven's, and as it turns out Tenant reported the same issue even after the change. We tried calling and have their technician come back, but no response. We had enough of their bad customer support. Luckily, we went on Yelp and found Smart and Fast Appliance Repair. They were the first to response to my request on Yelp and also had the lowest rates. They are very responsive for calls, were very accommodating to my tenant's schedule and was able to come out on Saturday to diagnose and fix the issue all in one day. For new customer, they even offer a $30 discount. Not just fast but also Smart. Their technician knew exactly what the problem was and was able to replace the correct parts on the spot. So glad we found this company, they will be my go to company for appliance repair moving forward.
