Our washing machine had a leak that we tried to fix ourselves- but the leak was still there. Called Primo on Saturday, Tom P came on Tuesday, he was friendly, knowledgeable, on time and wore a mask and gloves (stupid Covid). He figured out the problem, got the parts, fixed it and was all done in less than an hour. Excellent service! I will use them again (hopefully not soon!) if another appliance starts acting crazy. *** update*** after three loads of laundry we noticed a puddle forming under the washer. Tom came back out today and spent an hour trying to figure out where the water had come from and of course the dang thing didn't leak at all today...but he took his time and ran multiple cycles to try and figure it out! My oven wouldn't light, and after fiddling with the pilot for awhile, I decided it was time to call in the pros. I contacted Primo Appliance Repair, and they quickly sent someone out. Tom showed up and was very professional and tidy. He explained that I needed a new igniter and he had the part in his van. He had it fixed in less than a half hour and I felt the price was reasonable based on the speed and quality of the service. My oven works perfect again. They take advantage of unknowing victims. They charge $120 to come out and diagnose. If you use them to fix the problem, then $120 will be applied toward labor. That's fine. But, what happened next is not. My wife was at home when the repair guy came out and took a look at the dishwasher. He spent five minutes diagnosing it. Then, he asked my wife "is your husband handy?" Then, he told her " I don't have the parts for this" but "your husband should be able to fix it pretty easily if he goes to Lowe's". Then, he charged my wife $120 and left. Had I been there, it would not have gone down like that. read more

Updated 1-14-2016. Additions at bottom This place just did nothing but waste my time. I contacted them on December 21's to have them fix my dryer. They were able to send someone out on the 23rd. To show up onsite, there was a $60 charge, and they would see what they could do to fix it. The $60 would apply to the repair cost. I agreed to that. The guy was a little late, but that is forgivable. However, he didnt even bother to look at my dryer. All he did was pull out his cell phone and take a picture of the label inside. Then he told me he'd get back to me. Thats it??? If they needed the label from the dryer, why didnt they just ask me to send that to them? He told me they would have to order the parts (again, why didnt you ask me to send you the label? I could have saved you a trip.). He promised me he would contact me either end of day, or the following day with a price. Now I am reasonable, and realized this was right next to a holiday. So when I didnt get a call before Christmas, I didnt sweat it. I called them the following Monday. They said they'd get back to me. I called Tuesday, they said theyd get back to me. I called Wednesday and this time I vented my frustration. They apologized and promised me a call later that day with a price. They did call me back, but only to tell me they didnt have the price yet. They called me Thursday (we're now over a week since the initial visit) to let me know the price would be around $300. I agreed to that. They said they would order the parts overnight. They expected delivery Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. Guess what guys; Its Thursday, I have never heard from them since. We're now over two weeks out since the guy came to my house to take a picture of the label on my dryer. I'm no closer to having my dryer fixed than I was when I called on Monday the 21st. The only silver lining is they have not even charged me the $60. They're so bad at keeping track of their customers that they didnt even bother put the initial visit charge on my credit card. At this point they would be wise not to. If they do, I will be disputing the charge through my credit card company. I'm done waiting my time, and I'm done being blown off. I'll find another company. Updates Immediately after writing this review I reached out to a different company. They were onsite the very next day. Unlike the tech that was sent from Primo, this gentleman actually opened the machine up. It took less than 10 minutes for them to find the problem. Something had been sucked in to the blower, and threw the balance off. They cleaned the item out, and gave it an overall clean out. Total charge was $150 This is a stark contrast to what Primo did. They sent a tech out who did nothing except state I needed to buy a maintenance kit which would cost ~$300. Had the person of opened the front of the dryer, they would have spotted the actual problem. I made this update because of the owners reply to my posting. The day after this post went live, they reached out to me. They had been promising me a call for weeks, which never came. But my post went up and they decided that was a good time to call. They have repeatedly talked about this kit that needed to be ordered. But as you can see, I never needed a kit at all. They're tech was lazy, and they wasted almost 3 weeks of my time for nothing. And yet they still want me to have this kit installed that is not needed. Furthermore, they have specifically asked me to take down the bad post in exchange for money. They called me no less than 5 times to harass me in to taking down the post. I have refused, and will continue to do so. I still have a copy of the voicemails they left where they asked me to remove the post in exchange for cash. They're a bad business. Dont deal with them. I can't believe they replied to my post to try to reframe the situation. read more

Bruce was fantastic! Came out in the time frame provided, called about 25 minutes before he arrived and showed up with the best attitude I've seen all week. After opening the freezer, Bruce showed me all components that were bad, very upfront with what the cost was and what it would be if both items weren't done at the same time. After approval he then grabbed the new parts and showed the difference, installed and then made sure everything was defrosted and working perfectly before he left. Would highly recommend. read more

Our 17 year Maytag washer started making a weird noise. Call Primo and set appointment, they came out and replace the drain pump. The length of the appointment/repair took less than 30 minutes. The tech even wd40 the washer's brake so it would make the weird noise we had been accustomed to. Our washer is running like if it was new again. Would definitely use them again. read more

Be careful don't get mislead they charge 120 dollars just to come inspect your appliance that needs repair. When i booked appointment i was told that they charge 20$ if they don't repair Wich i was fine with. The repair man asked for my card and said he was gonna run it for 120 Wich internally gave me a panic attack! Do not waste your time calling this company. I called to schedule an appointment to have my daughter's refrigerator fixed. I explained the problem and the guy on the phone acted like because it wasn't a high end refrigerator, he couldn't make enough money to send someone out. Either you're in the repair business or you're not. Horrible, this guy comes in without even checking my fridgerator says it's time to get a new one. It's not even five years old yet. Then I have to pull it out for him and it's on wheels. And the guy keeps saying the compressors out, it's cheaper to get a new one. I'm the one that told the guy it was the inverter. He didn't even bring his tools up with him. Ask him if he checked with an ohmmeter he hadn't done that yet. So after he changed it inverter the compressor started working again. Overpriced parts and labor guy was not even there for 10 minutes and that was because he had to go back to his truck to get the parts. read more
