Chicken Cutlet with Lettuce Tomato Mayo
    Tatiana W.

Had The last Pasta Fagoli soup and because my sis had cravings for "Neil's" chicken sub this where we wound up. The soup was very hot and a bit bland and needed more seasoning. Put lots of Parmesan cheese in it, but it was also sparse In beans and pasta. Understanding it was last serving , I would not have served it! The chicken cutlet with lettuce subs were made perfectly! The cutlets nice and crunchy on outside juicy inside. Had just enough Mayo and oil and vinegar ratio. Sis was right -good sub!

Good tasting pizza with a thin crust just the way I like it....

I have ordered from Neils several times and yet need to be disappointed. White pizza, Pepperoni pretty much any is great. Pasta dishes are good like the Baked Ziti, Manicotti and their salads are good also. Solid place to go eat in or takeout. They have established themselves as a to go place especially for locals.

Everyone that grew up in New Jersey claims their local neighborhood pizzeria is the best and no where else compares. Well that's not what I am here to say about Neil's. Don't get me wrong, I love Neil's and I grew up on them but I have certainly have had better. If you grew up in Wayne NJ and was on the valley side, this was the place to be for pizza. Located in the shopping center across from my high school, this was the hangout spot whether it was during senior lunch or after school. They have all your favorites slices from plain to buffalo chicken to penne vodka. My favorite was the chicken bruschetta. All of the speciality pizzas gets super messy as the toppings falls apart fairly easily so I always end having to use a fork to finish. Pizza is also super oily but that's what you want in a good pizza so I am a-ok with that. I give it 3 stars for good pizza and another star just because it was my childhood pizza place and the memories it brings back for me. LOL, I wrote this for the wrong Neil's but whatever.

If you like doughy pizza, Neil's is your place. I'm a thin crust gal myself but this place is all right. They don't skimp on toppings which is pretty cool but they don't put on enough sauce. Thicker crust pizzas need more sauce to complement the dough and I don't believe Neil's has nailed the sauce/crust combo yet. Their delivery is quick and on time. Their prices are reasonable. Good caesar salad. Buffalo chicken sandwich was huge and only $6.50 but it was a little dry. They give you a side of bleu cheese with it but it wasn't enough.

More cheese is needed on the Sicilian. The crunch is good, but the sauce was a little light. The regular slice is ok. Not as crisp as I prefer but it had more cheese than the Sicilian. This is the only pizzeria I've tried in Clifton so far. The place is definitely busy during lunch. Seating is limited, best bet is to call in and take it back to the office if you have a group bigger than 4. There's a $10 minimum on all cards. A Sicilian, a regular, and a Snapple will run you $6 and some change. Not a bad lunch, but I'll see if there's better. That's what I do...

Yeah... thats gonna go great in my lemon soup.

Lets just start with the following Im 26, and ive never felt the urge to give a sh*t about anything enough to wright a damn review on anything. Not a thing my generation does, more like the soccer mom karen who wants to speak to the manager.... BUT TODAY. That changed. So i ordered Chicken franches with Linguini... simple right? Aparently not. You know what i got? 2 slices of chicken floating in literally lemon sauce. (I LEGITIMATELY couldnt see the chicken through the merky lemon hell water) With the linguini sitting in another tin ...covered in marinara sauce. Someone explain to me how the actual f*uck you mess that up? Like what is going on in your kitchen that someone looked at that and went "YEAP, THATS ABOUT RIGHT". I get it, shit happens. But this was like HYPER easy to get right. (Yes i put this on google aswell. After looking their delivery/pickup is horrid cause they literally dont give a crap)

    I love Neil's Pizza - never am I disappointed

He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

I'd been wanting to try it and was thrilled to find a new location nearby. During my first visit, I was impressed that even though we took the pies to go, they were still hot and crispy when we got home. The chimi pie was exactly as it should be--possibly even better than a NJ chimi I have had. We also ordered a plain pie for my son, who loved it, and a choco-flan. On a subsequent visit, we dined in and discovered that all pastas were 50% off on Wednesdays. I tried the chimi pasta and chicken Alfredo, both of which were delicious. The oxtail pie is a must-try if you enjoy flaky beef with a hint of sweet and spicy. We also enjoyed the flan and the Dominican juices and sodas. Wahizza is definitely worth a visit!

The first margherita pizza I ordered was delicious and looked exactly like the photos they advertise online -- fluffy wood-fired crust, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and overall high quality. That positive experience is the reason I ordered again. Tonight, however, I opened the box and received what looked more like a thin-crust cheese pizza with tiny pieces of what appeared to be spinach scattered on top instead of fresh basil. The crust was thin and flat, not the thick, airy wood-fired dough that is advertised on their website and delivery platforms. The fresh mozzarella was also replaced with grated cheese, which completely changed the pizza. When I called the restaurant, I was told they do "Tavern Thursdays," where the margherita pizza is made differently -- thin crust, grated cheese, and basil sprinkled on instead of the traditional version. My issue is not necessarily that they offer a different style on Thursdays -- it's that this was NOT clearly advertised anywhere on the website or ordering platform where I placed my order. I was instead told that the information is posted on Instagram. That is unacceptable. Customers should not have to check a restaurant's social media to find out that the item they're ordering is completely different from what is being advertised on the actual ordering platform. If the pizza is going to be fundamentally changed one day a week, that should be clearly stated on the website, menu, and delivery apps before checkout. Otherwise, it feels misleading and false advertising. The pizza I received looked nothing like the photos used to advertise the margherita pizza, and not at all like the one I previously received. Really disappointing experience, especially after such a great first order.
