Stopped by Village Pizza to try out a new pizza place, and they were awesome!! The staff were super friendly and welcomed me in. All the slices looked super good and they had some crazy ones with like Chinese food and salad on top. I opted for the meat lovers, and got plain for the wifey. We got chicken wings to pick on too and all the food was delicious. The slices were super flavorful, and delicious. The wings were crunchy and juicy. Placed order for large pie and chicken parm hero. So most places tomato sauce sucks ass this place included. Over cooked over sweet and bitter taste at the same time. Quite peculiar. Bread was ok. Mozzarella cheese was cheap chicken was tough . I wouldn't order it again. Prolly 3 star. Service was good 4 stars. Now the grand finally. The cheese pie. Here is where it gets interesting. The sauce has zero sweetness to it. Cheese is the same cheap mozz everyone uses. Sauce wasn't that good. Dough was the only saving grace. Also it could be baked a bit longer. Like maybe 1-2 min. Really good pizza place/restaurant located in Allwood section of Clifton. The service is always quick and friendly. Inside was remodeled a couple years ago and is modern and clean. Their regular pizzas are very good but where this place stands out is specialty slices and pies. Especially like the chicken Caesar slice and Buffalo chicken slices. There are many more to choose from and they all look great. Have also had salads and wings from here and both are good. Very friendly staff but they seemed very busy. Only limited amount of seating available maybe 3-4 tables. Can sit only where chairs are down. Must wear a mask. The pizza seemed like it was sitting for awhile that's why it wasn't the best I ever had. I ordered it via phone picked it up 25 min later. (Which was what was told of me).
