During the scheduling process, I specifically informed the staff that I would be using a gift card and was simply told to bring it with me to my appointment. I visited yesterday, and overall, the experience was very enjoyable. My massage was excellent--Jenni was absolutely wonderful and provided outstanding service. The facial was also relaxing and pleasant, although the facial rooms felt somewhat small and cramped. My concern arose during checkout. Because I was still relaxed and a bit distracted after my services, I didn't immediately realize that my total came to approximately $225 before tips. When I got home, my husband was understandably disappointed that I had to pay out of pocket when the gift card was intended to cover the experience. I called the following day to inquire about the difference and was informed that the Self-Care Package must be paid for in advance in order to receive the package pricing. While I understand policies are important, this requirement was never mentioned when I booked the appointment, despite my specifically requesting the package and informing staff that I would be using a gift card. I also reviewed the website and was unable to find any information indicating that advance payment was required to receive the package rate. From a customer service perspective, this was disappointing. I booked the exact services included in the package and clearly requested that package when scheduling. Had I been informed of the advance payment requirement, I could have addressed it at that time. Instead, I was charged approximately $30 more for the same services. Given the circumstances--and especially after I called to explain that the package was chosen because the gift card amount closely matched the package price--I would have appreciated some flexibility or consideration. While the quality of the services themselves was excellent, clearer communication regarding package requirements would help avoid similar misunderstandings for future customers.

This place is clean, warm, and welcoming. The massage table was heated as well. I loved and appreciated Maria. She is experienced and has been doing this for awhile. She asked me about my preferences and if I wanted to do any add-ons, which I opted not to do. She made me feel very comfortable and we had a great conversation during the massage session. She constantly asked about the pressure she was giving me and I was just very glad I booked with her. I recommend IMR. This place feels very clean and professional. Booking is easy and the staff are all very friendly. I would come here again!

Driving into a hotel, searching for parking or paying for valet, then paying resort-level prices for services that may not offer much additional value? No thanks. The challenge, though, is figuring out where the locals go. Massage places are everywhere in Vegas, but which ones are actually good and legitimate? While waiting for my Tesla to finish charging, I found The Spa and Massage on Yelp. I called to ask whether they accepted walk-ins, and they said yes. Perfect. As soon as the car finished charging, I headed over. The ladies at the front were warm, friendly, and helpful. I went with the Full Body Signature Massage and added cupping and the Chinese herbal oil, both around $30 each. Ahhh... it felt so good. My massage therapist, Angel, if I remember her name correctly - did an excellent job. She immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease, then worked through the knots and tightness in my neck, shoulders, and back. She also worked on my arms, legs, head, and face, so it truly felt like a full-body treatment rather than just focusing on one or two problem areas. By the end, I felt much more relaxed, refreshed, and human again. Considering how tired and sore I was, I felt she absolutely earned the $50 tip. All in, I paid about $200 out the door, and I thought it was well worth it. I think I have officially found my go-to place for relaxation whenever I am back in Vegas. No Strip traffic, no casino parking adventure, and no overpriced hotel-spa production. Just a genuinely good massage and a much-needed reset!

She spent the majority of the 90 minutes on my fiancé's legs instead of a full body as expected, and actually massaged her spine which was unexpected. It just didn't seem like the two masseuses were very experienced. All in all it definitely wasn't worth the $350 for 90 minutes. We would have been much better off getting massages at the Aria where we were staying. I guess that's what we get for trying to support a local business and save a couple of bucks.

First off, making an appointment was super easy! I had no trouble with getting in last minute. Not only did they attend myself but also my mom and sister (which if you have more than one person its always better to plan ahead to make sure you get the best service and the time needed). The day off the appointment we came in and Kass the store manager greeted us with such great energy, the studio is adorable and our massage therapist was amazing! Kass made sure we were prepared for our massages, he was so attentive to our needs and walked us through everything we needed to know! Always asked if I was comfortable,very involved as far as asking in what I wanted in the session. The location was perfect down the street from where I was staying. Downtown Vegas has always had a serious lack of massage options that aren't super creepy. I happened to walk by Neko during my most recent stay and gave it try. They got me in as a walk-in and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The space is super beautiful and relaxing, the massage therapist (Carson) was incredibly talented and professional, and for Vegas the prices are incredibly reasonable. LV Thai Massage & Spa sounds like it could be any generic massage spot off Spring Mountain, but the reviews suggested this could be a wonderful experience. And thankfully, they were right. Located in a low key plaza just outside of the University area, the signs for the place aren't obvious. It turns out it's located in a building that looks like it was once a former local bank or old school office in a brick laden exterior with plentiful parking. The space is calm and tidy and the atmosphere they've setup means is meant to set a tranquil mood, which I appreciate. The rooms are private and some of them have the ceiling cross bars, which is a must for yours truly. Backwalking is something I've preferred in Chinese reflexology for the deep tissue massage, but the Thai version might take it to a new level. There is a consultation with the reception and masseuse prior to every reception to identify areas to focus on, pressure level, and lingering injuries. My massages here have been excellent and all masseuses have been good about keeping the pain to a minimum. The signature Thai massage ($100) is the one I appreciate the most, since it focuses on tension and flexibility. Choose a combo ($90-130) massage and they'll throw in some Swedish techniques that definitely give another edge to the experience. Generally the massages start anywhere from $80-150 an hour. Add-ons in the form of aromatherapy can be tacked on, as well as other services such as hot stones, cupping, and acupuncture. I went in for a foot massage with my cousin. Foot massage here was 2.5/5. Very repetitive and not so relaxing. When I go in for a massage I want to relax. I couldn't do that since my cousin and I were in the same room both of the masseuse/masseur talked most of the time. One of their phones kept buzzing every 5 minutes, it was very distracting. To top it off the lady giving me a massage did a loud as burp! I wish I was kidding. I don't suggest this place for a foot massage. When it was time to pay and tip they got upset that I only tipped $5 and demanded more.

Inside the massage room, it's clean and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised, and was hoping the good reviews were right. I get massages quite often at different places around town and during travels so I'd like to think I'm a good judge of what a good or bad massage feels like. I went here for the Thai massage for 60 minutes. I like that they had poles on the ceiling so they can walk on my back. Ben- had a very pleasant experience with him. He was polite, professional at all times, was personable without being intrusive. His Thai-style massage wasn't quite what I'm used to, but he really stood out with his Swedish and sports massage techniques--easily one of the best I've had in that area. He's very strong, with great technique for working through knots, and can also adjust to a lighter, more relaxing touch if that's what you're looking for. Overall, I'd definitely go back to him and ask what he does best.
