I absolutely love Golden Spoon, it is my favorite frozen yogurt in Oceanside. I live 3 minutes away so I'm here somewhat regularly, probably once a week. I love the variety of flavors they give. New flavors come and go somewhat regularly and that keeps it interesting. The inside is clean. The prices are average, but they really give you so much yogurt that it makes it worth it. They really pile it high. The service is fine, never had a bad experience with it. They're generally friendly. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a new frozen yogurt spot. read more

Be aware that they will fill your cup past the brim, so if you want less, make sure to let them know or order a cup size down. You don't pay by weight, just size. It does make it worth the money especially if you typically add heavy toppings. I ordered three different yogurt flavors with some of my favorite toppings. I chose salted caramel, cake batter, and cookie butter for my yogurt flavors. All three were delicious, but I tried the gelato hazelnut after choosing my flavors and it was SO good! All of them were delicious really. I added mochi, yogurt chips, heath bar, and nonpareil chips as my toppings. We love coming to golden spoon. They always have great flavors and the staff is always kind and gives us as many samples as we ask for. Hopefully they always have strawberry or my daughter might flip a table. Their tart and dole whip are both so good, surprisingly not every place gets these two flavors right. They have several tables if you'd like to hang out and have your yogurt on site and I like that they decorate for most major holidays. read more

Never been to this location, usually always frequent the Carlsbad location. We were surprised there was one in Oceanside. We walked-in just in time to beat the rush. There was only one employee. Disappointed that this location isn't self-serve. Everything is behind the counter. You have to order what you want and the employee makes everything. Takes a while for a family of five to order. There was a huge line after we finished. Takes away from the experience when it isn't self-serve. And we can't pour the amount we want of anything, so beware of your weight on your order. read more

This location has held a lot of frozen treats in the past. The difference is: this time the treats are being provided by friendly helpful counter help, in an immaculate store. The yogurt is delish! The system is set up to allow the counter person to whip up whatever combination/quantity you want, it is not self serve (so no covid customer contamination worries). The coconut frozen yogurt is my fave, but we will be back to try all the flavors, and all the fixings you can add in are fresh and clean. THEY DO FUNDRAISERS!
