I stopped by Nekter Juice Bar on a Wednesday afternoon to grab a smoothie. Located in a shopping center with several other businesses including a dry cleaners, Wing Stop, and more, parking won't be a problem in their complimentary lot. Nektar is a nationwide smoothie and juice bar so I've been a few times over the years. Ambiance (4/5): Your typical smoothie joint. Modern, clean, and relatively small. More of a grab-and-go type of spot though they do have some tables available. Service (4/5): Service isn't a big part of the experience but for what it was, they did a good job. I was greeted relatively quickly, placed my order, and received my smoothie in a good amount of time. Food (N/A): I just got a smoothie and didn't notice if they offer any snacks or food. Drinks (3/5): I'm a big smoothie fan. Nekter isn't my type of spot. Their smoothies tend to be on the healthier side e.g. cashew milk, veggies, etc. Nothing wrong with that, I support it, but not for me. I like your more typical fruit smoothies. I've been going to Nekter every other week or so to get their salad in a cup. LOL. I usually go to the location off 67th in Glendale, but we were on this side of town running errands. Brand spankin' new location right on Tatum x Bell. Incredibly clean parking lot with lots of ample parking. Lobby / entryway is also very clean and we're always greeted immediately at every Nekter we stop by. Ordering is incredibly efficient and always quick. The Toxin Flush is usually my go to drink at Nekter. It is chock full of fresh vegetables and a couple of apples chucked in for good measure. Always flavorful. Always healthy. Always delicious. You could go to the grocery store and get some craptastic salad in a bag with slimy lettuce and stale dressing.... Or you could go to Nekter and drink the nutrients your body needs. This is the first juice bar I started going to. I usually get a medium juice of kale, cucumber, ginger and carrots. About $11 and change with tax. Everything I get one, they make it differently. Sometimes more kale. Sometimes more carrots. If they made it more consistently, I'd have given 5 stars. Plus, a little on the expensive side. But good staff and music while you wait. read more

EMPLOYEES YELLING AT A PREGNANT LADY?!? I mean come on... multiple reviews of rude and disrespectful employees... Went in today with my wife to pick up our order we ordered online. Tried calling the store literally 7 times to let them know what time we would arrive so they didn't make it immediately since it would be about an hour.. Arrive to the juice sitting out for over an hour and they tried to give that to us.. politely asked them if they could remake the juice given it's been sitting out for an our and they didn't answer despite multiple attempts. The response of well I guess with a rude tone and rolling of the eyes was uncalled for but I let it go. After the made the new one, which was disgusting, discolored, and 3/4 fill.. my wife asked what was in the immunity booster before she had the drink I ordered to ensure nothing would harm her pregnancy. The two kids working there were clueless and said they didn't have the box it came in to look.. feel like there should be a card or ingredients list as this is probably not a one off question... My wife had politely asked if they could remake the juice given they could not provide an ingredients list (not to mention it was gross too). They told us they have to charge us for another even though the quality was so bad and ingredients unknown. We had simply asked to speak to a manager (apparently there was no manager present). The young blonde girl proceeded to give us an eye roll and mutter under her voice something. We had politely said please do you eye roll and be rude to your customers. This set her and her other young long haired male co worker off, where they began yelling and shouting at myself, and my pregnant wife. Sad part is we had our 2.5 year old daughter with us, and another patron had her 2.5 year old son with her... Please I beg JP do not employ young and immature workers who do not know how to run or handle a store nor speak to customers. Will be pushing this up the chain. read more

Went to pick up my PB and J smoothie, which was so good. Partner also got a coffee kickstart and a Mario Kart Scoop. So so fast. Want to take the kids her for their scoop flavors too and asked for samples of the other two and they were so generous and ga e is these! Both of the other flavors, Splatland birthday cake and Kirby's berry, were pretty darn tasty! All of them have a unique taste profile. Birthday cake really tasted birthday-ish! I love that they use coconut cream, but I definitely taste the coconut so if you're not a coconut fan be aware. Highly recommend!! read more

I do not recommend this place because it is not organic. I prefer "clean juice" instead.

Some maps cannot even find this location. But I found this place and I am so happy about it! I've had several different smoothies and all have been delicious! Smooth and blended so nicely! Try it for yourself! I don't think you will be disappointed at all! The menu is extensive with lots of flavors and combos to try and it's not expensive at all. Guy at the counter was super nice and respectful. Place looks immaculate. Super clean. This place is so clean and the customer service is great! The smoothies are so delicious and I always realize I need to come here more often. The Açaí bowls are the best. read more

I was on here to leave a good review about my experience when i saw a comment posted earlier today and I feel the need to speak on it. I just wanted to say that I was there during that man's meltdown about his smoothie and he was in fact the one yelling at those poor kids! Personally, I would suggest to never order anything to-go an hour ahead of when you can actually pick it up. Seems like a very simple fix :) I am a regular here and the staff have always been so friendly. They do a great job and deserve a 5 star review and more :) read more

I visited this Juice Bar today and I am truly disappointed with not only the lack there of and the customer service experience. Not to mention the drink was disgusting. The gentleman at the bar when I walked up, turned around and looked at me and kept working. Never acknowledge. I was standing there, not to mention the guy walked from the back, and he told that guy to help me very disrespectful in my opinion, also when I got my drink which is the kickstart coffee, it was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend coming to this Nekter Juice Bar and wasn't for the fact I had other business attend to. I want my money back. This store needs a refresher course in customer service and sanitation. The guy making the drinks coughed and sneezed and never once covered his mouth or wash his hands. I have a problem with that, this experience was absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention I was the only customer in there. It took less than two minutes to acknowledge my presence. Save your money or go to another location! I took my son to this location as a treat & the girl working was so incredibly rude & behaved as if our questions and assisting us was a huge bother. I'm not one to leave a negative review but our experience definitely warranted it. I ordered a PBbowl yesterday. I was very disappointed. It was very soupy and had way too much granola on it(about 1/3 of the bowl). I put it in the freezer so it would harden up a bit. After taking out a lot of the granola I was able to eat it. read more

I called over 10 times about my order I placed for take out and they wouldn't answer the phone. Why have a phone if no one in the store will answer? Even tested the employees by calling while I was in store and no one picked up the phone and it was not busy. read more
