Gl450. Nelco did a great job fixing my manifold. Thanks very much and now he is my mechanic!

Zach helped us with our 1995 Porsche 911 and was extremely reasonable with his pricing. He diagnosed the vehicle because I was under the impression from another mechanic that the engine may need a rebuild. Zach told us that it seems oil may have spilled and just needs to burn off hence the smoke we saw. That assessment was the difference between 20k for an unneeded rebuild. All he noticed was a couple of rubber pieces that needed to be replaced in the engine bay. Nothing serious. Zach is honest, trustworthy and fair. Traits that are really hard to come by with mechanics these days. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Zac is the auto mechanic I can truly trust. He helped with replacing my brake pads and rotors on my 2014 Mercedes C63 AMG. He also did an oil change. Very good work and price for the services. Will definitely be coming back for future service needs. Thank you Zac!!

Unlike most dentists' and car mechanics, this one is a hidden gem establishment with the most honest, kind, and genuine man.

I told him I was there waiting, and he seemed surprised. Had I not been on-site to check the tire myself, I likely would have just agreed to his recommendation over the phone. He then told me the tire couldn't be repaired and needed replacement, claiming it had been driven flat due to faint sidewall marks and a "burnt" smell. I explained it was never driven flat--only a few blocks while low on air--and I didn't notice any unusual smell when he tried to demonstrate. I asked them to repair it anyway, but he refused. Another employee offered to open the tire to show the damage, but after inspecting it, he couldn't find any issues--the tire was still good. They eventually repaired it as requested. It's only been a few hours, but everything seems fine so far. I didn't appreciate being pushed to replace a tire that's less than a year old, especially since I drive under 7,000 miles a year working mostly from home. Sharing photos of all four tires, including a close-up , part of the sides are hard to see. Just be careful with people trying to get you to replace something that doesn't need to be.

I don't write reviews often but Chet's deserves one here…read more I took my 2007 Honda CRV to Chet's (Vu), as I was having steering issues and some noises after recent repair from two different mechanics. Vu took it immediately for a test drive with me in the passenger seat. He could feel the same issue I did. He then put it on the lift and inspected it thoroughly. He wasn't sure of the issue exactly but was transparent in the discussion and thinking. Given the car had been worked on recently by others, I can understand why he would be hesitant to take it on. He noted that "my reputation is more important than one car" or similar, which I understand and respect too, as he said he has been in business for 20 years. He considered his best recommended repair with available information but wasn't pushing it, as it's a pricey repair. Looking to get a second opinion, he then had a different co-worker take another look. The co-worker slid under the car and was able to identify an issue, which was a loose bolt from the prior mechanic. The team right then lifted the car and tightened all the bolts, then took it on a second test drive, and the sounds went away and the steering issue seemed improved. Vu spent about an hour on this work combined with another 15-20 minutes from two or three other people too. After all that, he told me not to pay anything, though I offered! He could have pushed the more expensive repair and I would have very likely gone ahead with it, but he didn't. I need to test drive it further to see how it ddrives, but Vu said if still having issues to come back then to discuss where we go from there. For now, the sounds at least have gone away which is promising! Thank you!!!

Even though Vu was single handed and getting multiple phone calls, Vu was still very patient in discussing repair options. Dropped off my car around 9:30am and got a call back around 2:30pm saying repair was completed. Instead of having a couple of sensors replaced (~$300), Vu said he had found and replaced a rat chewed cable connector (~$60) that resolved check engine light. He charged me for cable connector and honest labor, and car is running fine again. I know where I will be taking my car for any future repairs.
