My car had a bad oil leak and he let me bring my car back the week after to ensure the leak was fixed free of charge. I think he had very fair prices as well! Brought my car in for an oil change after purchasing a Groupon for $14! That was such a great deal that I was almost ready for the catch. I made an appointment and brought my car by. Oscar called me within the hour and I came back to pick up my car. No additional fees or upsale of further car maintenance. I was very happy with the service and plan on getting my oil changes here from now on. A couple days later, a light went off in my car for tire pressure and I decided to take it to Schwerin and they found exactly where the nail was in my tire. They removed and patched my tire and filled them up for $20. I took my car in because my AC was not working and my car kept overheating. Oscar fit me in without an appointment and was incredibly honest, thoughtful, and fair. I needed to get have my radiator and condenser replaced but they did not have the condenser in stock. Instead of replacing the radiator immediately and having me come back to replace the condenser after he ordered it, Oscar had me come back once the condenser had arrived to replace both so that I did not have to pay for the labor twice. SERVICE Awesome, fast and friendly/useful/helpful. Had my car broken into through the back triangle window. The total cost to replace was $160, which was much better than I expected. This place was fast, ordered the specific window to arrive next morning, was able to drop off my car & they had it completed same day. Afterwards I had to go to dinner nearby and he let me leave my car parallel parked in front their driveway after they had to do some car shuffling. Haha these sf garages are so tiny & narrow. I was very hesitant to purchase another Groupon voucher because I was very unhappy with the last two I bought. Blue Fin Sushi wouldn't honor any Groupon voucher now that they are under new management. People's Cafe is now People's Bistro, offering a Chinese menu instead of an American breakfast and lunch menu. With much hesitation, I thought I would give Groupon another chance especially since Schwerin Automotive has positive reviews on Yelp. I called around 9am this morning to see how soon I could go in for an oil change using a Groupon voucher. Oscar said to bring it in and it would take around an hour. I brought my laptop and was ready to wait for 3 - 4 hours at a nearby Starbucks. To my surprise, Oscar called an hour later and said the car was ready. As I walked back, I was trying to figure out how much would I have to pay for the disposal fee, tax and whatever else they might charge me for. He gave me the paperwork and said I'm all set since I already showed him the Groupon voucher when I arrived. I was stunned to hear the Groupon voucher covered everything especially after reading how another company was charging extra on top of their Groupon voucher. Thanks Oscar for the pleasant experience!
