I made the appointment and after a couple of weeks was seen by Dr. Repa. Oh my goodness, the office staff was extremely pleasant and engaging. Once back in an exam room, his assistant, Linda was phenomenal. She made me quite comfortable; made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. When the doctor arrived, he too was absolutely wonderful. He was engaging and had a great personality. After all the preliminary's were done, it was determined that the tooth could not be extracted, but had to be excised surgically. This was done a couple of weeks later, and to my surprise, there was not one postop issue. I had no need for pain medication as there was no pain. I would highly recommend these folks for any type of oral surgery need(s) you might develop. Everything was explained to me, concisely, and all questions were answered. I was not overwhelmed with additional information that had no bearing on the procedure at hand. I cannot say enough positive remarks about Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ... Kudos!

I had…read morenever met him there as all he did was the implant and Clear Choice did the abutement and tooth. Because I had to have both teeth redone twice, I chose not to go back to Clear Choice but to go to Dr. Mulherin directly. My first meeting with Dr. Mulherin went OK. He asked me why I was not going back to Clear Choice and I told him why. He did the implant on December 5, 2017 and I went home all bruised. I was to return in 2 weeks and in the meantime, I found that the cap or screw or whatever they put in the implant to keep the gum from growing back over was irritating my tongue and off and on I had been feeling some pressure on the tooth next to the implant. When I went into the office for the 2 week visit, I told the dental tech this. Thought maybe the screw was coming out. When Dr. Mulherin walked into the office, he was livid. I was in the chair and had not said a word to him but came up to my face and told me that he had had a long talk with Dr. Jacob of Clear Choice and she had told him I complained and was picky. (Paid $9,500.00) for 2 teeth.) In a threatening, nasty, hostle and bullying manner he told me that there was nothing wrong with the implant and "to live with it". He had not even looked in my mouth. He then proceeded to threaten me and told me that if I thought I was going to come into his office and "complain" then I could find someone else to finish the job. He then told me to open my mouth and took out stitches which was never explained to me why they were in my mouth. All this time I had not said a word. I was stunned and scared of him. After a sleepless night and talking with my family, I knew I could not go back to him. He had made it clear that I had to take whatever shoddy work or verbal abuse if I chose to stay with him. I have not returned. I had paid him $4,018 for this one tooth and had paid in full. I am still waiting for my refund and am left without any followup or medical care.

UPDATE: As of 5/25, I am still experiencing significant sensitivity and pain…read more I paid over $50,000 for full mouth veneer treatment with this office. Within about three years, one restoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise.
