The first year we made changes to the prescription and line measurements from the original glasses they prescribed. Each year after that, we would have to send them back two or three times because they would get the prescription wrong. Then when we got them back, the lines would be wrong. Always took two or three attempts. Also on this years exam, I had a prescription from the VA that was great. I just wanted to use that to order my glasses. They said ok but still had me do an eye exam. Their prescription was different. When the glasses came in, they were under their prescription and not the VA's, and of course, it was wrong again and blurry up close. They did not use the VA prescription. This time they offered, and I took a refund so I could see a different provider. They however did not refund the $150.00 eye exam so now I can't use it to get my glasses through some one else so it will have to be out of pocket. When I contacted them, I was simply told that they would not refund it, even though they messed the prescription up again and also did not use the one I requested. I have also heard from others that they have had this same issue.

He was very thorough and caring during the appointment and followed up with me even during his after-hours to make sure I was healing well and not under a lot of pain. She was extremely nice and personable. Let me tell you: the music they were playing was super well-received by me. Usually it's boring music at offices such as this: here it was 90s and 00s alternative. Great touch! Savannah called my name and we started with all the tests and such. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better person at an eye clinic. She was super nice, personable, and helpful. She totally understood my concerns and really made the experience great. Once we were done with initial testing, she left to update Dr. Greene on my concerns. Dr. Greene was absolutely excellent. She really put my care and concerns on the primary and let me choose how to proceed. No pressure, no talking down to me, just a great doctor. Bonus points: both Dr. Greene and Savannah were in masks and completely understood why I was masked up the entire time. Once we decided on a plan, it was time to pick out glasses. The glasses lady (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was very nice. However, I wish she had a bit more feedback for me. It took her a bit to really offer suggestions. The other thing was that the frames I was shown were pretty pricey. I'm not sure if any lower priced frames were offered here, and I will totally admit that was a bit on me. I like my glasses. I'm still in adjustment phase (think: the floor is convex oh no!); however, when I went to pick up my glasses, Savannah was at the front desk and helped me with my concerns about my new contacts. She took time to get lenses out and was quick to make adjustments to my contact prescription based on my preference and experience with the first pair. I'm wearing my 2nd pair of trial contacts, and my prescription will be based on what I like. Yay! I'm really into the 30 day trial run. No more settling!

I was a patient for 8 years until recently. I never had any issue until a few weeks ago. During…read moremy annual appointment in November Dr. Glaze said I needed a contact for my right eye but have only wore one in my left eye for many years. When I tried the sample contact in the office I couldn't see anything so Dr Glaze said to just stay with wearing just my one contact. However, before Memorial Day my vision got worse so I called the office and said to order the other contact. When I received them it was for my left eye, but I wanted to be certain that it was indeed for that eye. I called the office to confirm and the girl said she would check with him and would get back with me. She never called back, so I called again and left a message on their answering machine, which states they will call back within a day. Again, didn't hear from anyone, so I called yet again because if I opened the contacts and they still didn't work I would be out the amount I already paid. I called and talked to another person and had to explain the same thing to her, and was told Dr Glaze would be back the Tuesday after Memorial Day so I waited until late Wednesday to call. I then spoke to their office manager and had to tell him the same thing and that I was having headaches and wasn't comfortable driving because my vision wasn't great. By now I was frustrated because I was then told Dr Glaze would not be back for another week . The office manager sent me more contacts that didn't work either. So, I called again and was told that they had some other contacts for me to try and I told the girl in my text that the contacts the office manger sent still didn't work, so I drove over 30 minutes one way to the office and when I got there they were the same contacts the office manager sent me, Clearly I was not happy and the office manager told me I was being difficult and rude to the staff, yet at no time did anyone offer to let me see another doctor, and they didn't even know when Dr. Glaze would be back, so if they want to say I'm was difficult, so be it. My husband runs a law office and his staff would know exactly when he would be back and they would offer a client that needed help the opportunity to see another attorney.

I have gone to this optometry clinic, I believe for around 15 years. I had something going on with…read moreone of my eyes. I was debating if I should go to an urgent care clinic or the eye doctor. I called here at 8am and they said they could see me at 1120am. I arrived about 5 minutes early and got checked in. Two people waiting were taken back plus another gentleman who came in after I did. It was about 30 minutes later that I asked about the wait. Someone comes out and they don't apologize, they just tell me it will be about another 10 minutes before they take me back and then it will be 30-40 minutes before the optometrist sees me. For how much more this clinic charges for eye exams compared to others, this level of care is pitiful. I took off from work to be seen so I was already losing money, I wasn't going to lose more money to wait another hour to be seen. Word of advice for the clinic. No one wants to wait for even half an hour before being seen. Making someone wait nearly 1.5 hours after their appointment was scheduled? That is absolutely outrageous, if you keep that it you can plan to losing more than just my business. I will never come back.

"Family member" (purposely not named here), was fitted with contact lenses in February, 2018. The…read moremoment this was done, ******* told Dr. he wanted ACUVUE OASYS. Dr. said, "they don't make them for astigmatism". He gave ******* contacts that were uncomfortable in the very beginning. Several weeks ago I called to tell Enid Vision Center that ******* was having problems and discomfort in the right eye. I was told, ******* has an astigmatism in that eye and now wears a thicker lens, ******* will have to get used to it, if he cannot, the only other option is glasses". END OF CONVERSATION! ******* has had, near constant headaches, since being fitted in these lenses and has missed work due to a blinding headache and nausea. (4-18-19) ******* saw a new eye Dr. today and was told, "YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ASTIGMATISM IN YOUR RIGHT eye and that lens is very over powered, that is what is causing you problems with your eye and headaches (lens is very thick). Charge was ANOTHER $35 & was given the proper prescription. Vision Insurance company was called but since the boxes of INCORRECT CONTACTS had been opened, ENID VISION CENTER, could not send the contacts back. NOW THE POINT OF THIS REVIEW IS..... #1. The Dr. prescribed the wrong lenses. #2. They had the gall to blame us for not saying ******* needs to come in. ( to place blame, I am sure) They said, "all you had to do is ask". IT IS NOT OUR JOB, WHO ARE WE TO TELL THE DR'S OFFICE WHAT NEEDS DONE? #3. Enid Vision Center used up all of *******'s vision benefits and took $20 out of our pocket. THEY NEVER OFFERED TO CUT A BREAK ON THE COST OF NEW LENSES OR ANYTHING! SO.....VSP told*******they were filling out a report on Enid Vision Center because THEY WERE REQUIRED TO SINCE ******* WAS INJURED DUE TO IMPROPER CARE AND THEY REINSTATED *******'s 2019 VISION BENEFITS SO THE CORRECT LENSES AND VISION EXAM WOULD BE PAID FOR BY INSURANCE. ENID VISION CENTER LOST ******* AND MYSELF AS PATIENTS TODAY. THANK YOU TO VSP!!!!!
