They do such an amazing job and always make sure I'm being taken care of. Every single person in the office is very nice and accommodating. I have a lot of anxiety and also pain with dental procedures and feel like a problem patient. But they never make me feel like a problem and they're always here to help. Getting dental stuff is never fun, but they make it as painless as possible. When I heard my own general dentist went here for his own implants, I knew it was the place to be. 5 star experience for something that no one wants to have done. Would recommend.

He was able to do the surgery and remove both teeth with the speed I comfort I never experience before. It was just "top, top and pull" and the tooth was gone. Wow, it was amazing and Dr. Miner is amazing and absolutely the best! Today, I'm still doing great, no pain and no bleeding! I think Dr. Miner is the best oral surgeon in the San Diego area. Everyone was attentive, polite and professional. I especially appreciated Vanessa as she explained everything thoroughly and was extremely kind. Let's face it, most of us don't enjoy our dental appointments. But I can honestly say, I not only had very little pain, I have TMJ which is a real pain when my mouth is open for extended amounts of time, after the novacaine faded there wasn't any pain either. I've never had any kind of root canal without pain, let alone a second one over an old one that had infection. I highly recommend Dr Tran, Vanessa and his entire staff for any of your endodontic needs.

Of course I ran to Yelp to find a provider that could see me sooner. I decided to call Pomerado Endodontics based on the great reviews and despite the negative reviews- hey! there's always 2 sides to every story.. My first interaction was with Lily- she was so kind and did everything in her power to get me in as soon as possible for a consult. She sent me all the paperwork to fill out and they were able to fit me in the very next day. The initial appointment consult was fast and efficient. Dr. Kenny was able to find the problem and explained his plan to make it better. I booked the soonest appointments to get started. The second appointment was a root canal. They made sure I was numb and got started right away. I've had one before and I couldn't believe I was in and out within an hour. The third appointment happened 2 days later-surgery to save a tooth that had a failed root canal. I've never had this procedure done before so I didn't know what to expect but his team explained everything thoroughly. Despite all the work- I managed to survive with minimal bleeding and swelling. My last appointment for this series was to remove the sutures which was just fine. I'm about a little over a week post-op and I feel great. I paid over $7,000 because he said he drilled so much of the tooth it will probably break if he fills it so he extracted and put in an implant don't even let It heal and have me come back for the tooth to go on top. Then he wanted to schedule me for deep Cleaning for $1600! But that he got a check from my insurance for $2200 that was my reimbursement he had billed them instead of having it sent to me. So said I could use that money this is ridiculous my cleanings r usually fully covered so I had to negotiate to get it down to $300 after what my insurance pays him and still requested he sent me the reimbursement from my Insurance he refused to send it until I came in. I then told him my gum under the implant was infected red swollen painful and requested antibiotics so it doesn't interfere with the implant he refused and said don't worry I'll take care of u when u come for your cleaning . all he did was my cleaning which I voiced not wanting to do while there's an infection. He just wanted the money my implant ended up failing and now he will not refund me only put it back in after he charged close to $2,000 just to take it out when it became loose and he said it had to Come out .

i've been going to see dr. kamran and dr. vasefi since about 2018 when i moved back to san diego…read more dr vasefi always takes well care of my teeth and takes time to explain what might be happening with my oral health. she's also just a great person, super friendly and lovely. whenever i see dr. kamran, he's got great energy, works very quickly, and razor sharp instincts. they're the only dental office i've loved seeing for years, and to me that says a lot about their team and work culture. my previous experiences with other dentists has oddly often included surprise cavities and i would get headaches after the cleaning because of how rough they are. with this office, after getting regular (once a year) deep cleaning and checkups, i haven't had any issues with cavities since coming here.. my gum health goes up and down, but whenever i get deep cleaning here, it improves. i've had a couple of old cavities replaced by them, a fair amount of cleanings, and never have felt like i was being "upsold" just to make more money for the office (i'm a marketer by trade and i'm sensitive to this stuff as a buyer). they found problems with my health, explained what it was, prescribed the right solution (even though it's not covered by my insurance), and gave me a choice to not take it. that's the most "upsell" i've experienced. it's not bad practice...plus they take the time to really explain what's happening. they're transparent with your xrays, your gum health, and the conditions of your fillings. this is one office that i've seen keep up with the new tech coming out, and even have a customer portal for your dental checkins and summaries. i get calls and texts about my upcoming appointments, and the receptionists are always so nice to me even if i'm a bit annoyed about something completely unrelated! i don't have any issues with insurance since most of my work is paid out of pocket, plus knowing what i know about my gums, it's not covered by my plan. so of course it is expensive at times, but to me i happily pay it for the quality of work from dr kamran and dr. vasefi. this is just my personal experience here and i'm not paid (or given any special treatment) for doing this. give this office a shot before you judge it based on a few people's bad experiences... people only leave bad reviews when they're upset, but those who love it often don't even think about it so the only "complaint" i have is office has to do a better job asking their loyal patients to leave more reviews ;) big love to this office!
