I feared they had perhaps put makeup on them to make them look so great but nope, it was simply a deft hand with waxing and obviously-excellent knowledge of how to appropriately tint eyebrows. They now require zero am manipulation as part of the rest of my makeup. Even though I live in Hartford, I'm absolutely making the trip to North Haven for their services and highly recommend them to anyone looking for brows-on-fleek--with exactly the level Of "fleekness" you want. Not too pleasant when you're sitting there for nails, and wearing fairly warm shoes. Two - the "quick dry" spray doesn't dry. Not to put your coat on isn't an option in the winter in New England. Having a place to dry your nails needs to be in place or atleast communicating to your client just sit here for x more minutes then we can check them. And lastly a smooth looking nail is expected when you pay for nails. I do my nails all the time at home the only different is that smooth finish you hope to achieve by a nail technician. The simple nail art did come out beautiful. Honestly, the salon itself is a no for me altogether with a less than average experience. I don't recommend it. I can be more specific of other issues but I honestly don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. Given my horrible experiences with other area chains, I decided to pray and go to this location after seeing Jenteel P's review. This location is the best one, honestly. Front desk is nice and communicates like normal people, it's clean and smells nice, you don't wait forever for people to get ready. I can honestly say that Tyasia is the truth, you could fall asleep and wake up 7 minutes (!) later completely done (it is really that gentle) and it lasts. If you have coarse hair it you will not be disappointed, she knows what she is doing and is very thorough. My waxer was phenomenal, made me feel so comfortable and kept me laughing the entire time! She truly is great, which is why I won't include her name. However, right when leaving I already noticed my legs felt stubbly, and now that I'm home I've noticed just how stubble covered they are, with strips of hair still present. My Brazilian feels more smooth overall, but there are multiple strips of hair left as well. Very disappointed as I definitely will have to shave again before this weekend.
